I believe that a humble (open-minded) person who can make moral judgments (and who can tell what is right and wrong) and is a man of integrity will do just fine. While many phenomenons remain mysteries, with our intelligence, we will continue to strive for those answers -- I believe that's what we live for.
They believe in what is convenient for them, the problem is that humans are naturally selfish. They believe in religion because it comforts them and makes them know everything is alright and they believe by believing in "the truth" theyll go to heaven, they want to know when they die they go to a happy place and they will be eternally happy.
This is what makes Christianity different, religions say your saved by works, but Jesus says you are saved by simply believing in Him. This is Religion=tradition, rituals, Relationship=intimacy, and spiritual connection with Him who is love, grace, and mercy.
I would like to say as a Christian,it's not hard to understand. Your Spiritual life dictates how you live your life. You may choose to live your life as a Muslim, Hindu, or Mormon but that is your choice. Your life will be dictated by RELIGION. Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with Christ. I accept and am even glad for those who find comfort in s god, but as an agnostic, I find so much comfort in knowing that I try to live my life well because I want to, not because I'm afraid not to. To be honest, I don't think they're being dishonest about their faith. They're sure that they're right. They are, as jpayne said, close minded. But its a step further than that. @PolsciStudent To be truly Agnostic is to be perfectly accepting. If you are an agnostic, you acknowledge that you don't know, thus opening up all possibilities. If someone believes whole heartedly that God exists, as an Agnostic, it would be hypocritical to deny that belief, because in the end they may be right.

@jpayne68177 That is an interesting comment. What you don't know is that most religious people are not actually initiates. Most of them are indeed brainwashed zombies, but there is a lot more to religion than you might think. I suggest you go to a Hindu temple. You might experience something you never thought you would experience, that will certainly change your views on religion.
