OK sorry to anyone who likes classic rock and that kind of thing but this is whats wrong with these programs. I go to one like this in Georgia and my problem with it is that they will only let my band play classic rock!!!! They shouldn't be giving us the "experience" of playing what our parents want to hear (my parents dont even listen to that stuff) but letting us play what WE want to play!!!! I find it really selfish of them to limit us to that.

Oh hell yeah.....i totally support this idea, it keeps the kids off the streets, out of trouble with the police and from what i see the kids are having the time of their lives doing what they love, and that is .....ROCK OUT!

Umm. . . no, whatever the kids decide they want to play out of the "X" amount of shows we do, they get to pick what they want to be in. *If we were doing like, slayer vs. pink cuddle bunnie gay shit or something like that, and the kid who was the next Lars Ulrich that decided to go in the gay band, wel; the teachers would interviene and he would have to go in slayer, or metallica. we do different shows each season with about 27 kids per show, and there is 2 shows. (or more!) Hope I could help

Well, it's very complicated because not ALL schools play the same cover. I think every plays the beatles, but only for one season. You can play whatever the instructors think you have the ability to play. YES, we, the pogsor in SCS MI, played beatles vs. pink floyd. I'm sure all the other schools did too, it depends where you're from in the states. there's also like 150 schools across the u.s.
