Man, these crackers still in denial about why the black nation as a whole is the way it is. If them blue eyed devils never killed our leaders, nor slap bogus charges on them to shut them up, then we as a people would be prosperous today. Its time for us to wake up and get out of this state of slumber and unawareness!!!
@MrAmericanzombie The black man has been oppressed for over half a century, plus free labor.
Do you know we had to start from scratch financially, while your people had 4 generations of our money saved up. Your ancestors built this country on the BLOOD of the AFRICAN and NATIVE AMERICAN. On top of that you still benefit from your past deeds to this day. you have white prefrence. you have ''ALL AMERICAN COMPANIES'' that were founded on slave money.. We never held whites back. Your just Biased.
All he talks about is the black man being held back!! This ignorant fool has no idea whats going on in the world!! Screw the black man.He has just as many rights as whites do!! We have a worthless BLACK president now. I'm so glad that Americans didn't fall for this bullshit!! Blacks hold whites back now!! they used to be of use,but now they just abuse our welfare system..I've heard many black women that live down the road admit they have kids for the welfare. They need to go back!!!!!!
if you want proof that the united states is full of racists who would falsely imprison a black man without a fair trial, you need look no further than the comment section of this video. these sister-fucking douchebags delight in parading around their idiocy. his rights are your rights, morons. even if he was guilty, which it's never been proven that he is, you should want his rights to be protected. by the way, i'm a white dude who seriously likes to beat up racists. i delight in it.fuckyou
its true people are racist online but will never say any of what they are saying here to your face~what a bunch of sissy pansies~now you are scared ha? keep kissing my ass while you bite your tongue and swallow your spit~Black has always been here since the beginning of time and black will always be here~you are all so mixed now~you better go check your DNA'S because you all black!!!!....hahahaha....I pity the fools!
Justice denied, thats hilarous. Justice worked fine in this case. mumia was screaming at the hospital that he wanted to go back and shoot the cop some more.
kain't we alls agree that Mumia is a toilet flushin shoe shinin water BOY psychopath and dat the people here who dig this nignog be so stupid dat they ain't even attained convict status yet...Dat dere momas never knew dere daddies name is a shame. Dat dy cain't walk on two legz is not my problemmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
@ktwppl Cain't we all agree that after Mumia is executed his corpse should be drug behind a diahrettic mule through the streets of Philly. On second thought we could do it while he is still alive.....
@CorruptPhillyCops I've owned you enough. Now you can find a new puppet master. I'm confident that you'll be a douche for life, so there's no need to prove it anymore than I already have.
Its ok racist whites are slowing dieing off and things are getting better and people are racist on the computer because now dayz they just get beat up or nodoby likes them lol

SO U DIE FIRst :) much BEterr for America > people like . mumia abu jamal . made maybe the wrong choice but he coulden't help it .. IT's LIFE BOY ..
A new trial is warranted. Its denial is not occurring for fear of Mumia's release, what is feared is the governments culpability and thus humiliation for its participation in Mumia's and other freedom fighters persecution.
Those who support his persecution at some level know this.
@DaudMusa Actually, you're wrong. A new trial isn't granted to anyone who asks for it. After all, most people in prison claim to be innocent. And...you're wrong. Mumia's a joke. He's not a freedom fighter - he's a coward. I'd have more respect for him if he just came out and admitted that he shot Faulkner 5 times, because we all know he did - even his dimwitted supporters. So what's your excuse for being so naive?
@august1876 Your right, new trials are not granted for anyone who asks for it, they're granted for those who present evidence to justify a new trial. From recanted testimony to evidence the crime scene was tampered with, have been ignored in Mr. Jamal's case. Most people can claim anything, the issue is if there is evidence to support their claim or not. Many people have been released in recent years and have not had half of the available evidence that Mr. Jamal has.
@DaudMusa I'd love to see you try to back up your baseless claims with some documentation. Despite your naive idea of how the law works, "Most people" cannot "claim anything." While you're attempting to cite your BS sources, maybe you can cite this new "evidence" you're talking about? Because a cop moving a hat does not mean someone's innocent. Sorry.
@august1876 Thank you. all these Mumia goons want to avoid the fact that he is a murder. Listen to his voice, opiate for the stupid masses. It oozes with falsehood. Barf XP
I've read the evidence and the trial docs on this.
Based on the evidence, they could have gotten a convitction but it would have been shaky. Based on the deliberate issuing of incompetent representation and the refusal to allow Mumia to defend himself he should at the very least be allowed a retrial.
He may still be convicted but you can't puff out your chest saying justice if fair and equitable and then deny a man a fair day in court.
If you had read the trial docs, you would know that Mumia was allowed to represent himself. But when he tried to derail the trial (a common and juvenile MOVE tactic), he was reappointed an attorney.
Mumia's trial was as fair as anyone's in the US. He's the one who made it unfair for himself by 1. refusing to testify, and 2. trying to "put society on trial."
If we gave every criminal who claimed to have an unfair trial a 2nd/3rd/4th day in court, taxpayers would be broke.
NOT FREE MUMIA ... FRY MUMIA! Execute that murdering sub-human ape now! And while were at it, let's dispose of the thousands of other murderous apes on death rows all over the U.S.
Another thing that strikes me as strange about this case: Mumia was a journalist, albeit a militant one, with no history of violence or criminal record, and he's going to just, at age 28, out of the blue, shoot a cop in for a lame reason? It doesn't make sense.
You claim Mumia shot the cop in the back, and the Philly cops "corroborate" this. I wouldn't trust the Philly cops to tell the truth; police in America lie all the time.
So it could have been self-defense.
Re. "cop was only questioning," *I* didn't make that up. That's the police and prosecution side of the story. Again, how can we be sure it's true?
Got ot all figured out there ,Shukria... The police force could use a guy with your infinite wisdom.and foresite...DO YOU HAVE A WEBSITE FOR US TO SEE so we too can be enlightened ?
Shukria, you're wrong. Mumia's brother, William Cook admitted to punching Faulkner in the face, to which Faulkner backhanded him with his flashlight. Faulkner was handcuffing him when Mumia shot him in the back. The Philadephia PD and the 3 eyewitnesses corroborate this.
So...where did you come up with this "the cop was only questioning...etc.? Exactly. Made up.
And how in the world to you shoot someone in the back "in self defense?" Do you know what self defense is? Obviously not. Learn.
In these interviews on Youtube, Mumia doesn't strike me a murderer. If you watch interviews of people like Ted Bundy, they seem insincere and glib; I don't get that vibe from Mumia.
As for John Africa being a pedophile, I doubt that's true.
In this particular case, I don't have to explain how someone can shoot another person in the back in self-defence because I'm don't think the cop was shot in the back. That's the prosecution and police side of the story. It might all be part of the frame-up of Mumia.
And if the cop was really shot in the back, it wasn't Mumia who did it. A lot of witnesses who claimed they saw Mumia shoot the cop have now recanted their testimony.
Now you're trying to rewrite history? Are you saying that the hospital staff that treated Faulkner was in on this grand conspiracy to frame some wannabe journalist? Shukria, I have news for you, Mumia failed at journalism - hence his taxi driving "career". Look into it.
And sorry, you're wrong again. "A lot of witnesses" have not recanted their testimony. One did-for book sales.
You know very little about Mumia and that's clear. But what's amazingly sad is how little you know about this case!
Furthermore, a lot of young people(Mumia was in his 20s at the time of his arrest) have to moonlight as they develop their art e.g. driving a taxi, waiting tables, etc.
Re. witnesses, to be frank, this has turned into a confusing mess, with many witnesses recanting and then recanting their recantations and others changing their stories. So whom among the witnesses, pro or anti-Mumia, can really you believe?
Ok, August1786, if I know so little about Mumia, tell me about him....
Jamal"s silver tongued rhetoric is nothing new, he knows the value of making himself look like the martyr. The majority of the folk that latched on to this movement started with the hollywood elite, and other left leaning BOHEMIAN anti establishment types. It has been made into a circus.
The prosecution were made up with an integrity filled team. That proved their case on more than one occassion. I lived three doors down from MOVE we saw this coming early!!
Just a sec. Name one "broadcasting award," that Mumia won please. Mumia was FIRED from his broadcasting job and couldn't find work 2 YEARS after being fired!!! Doesn't sound like an award winning journalist to me.
Shukria, you're all bullshit. What's this about "many witnesses recanting?" "Police tampering with coroner reports" and the "broadcasting awards" Mumia won. All bullshit! I guess if you have nothing to say, you just make stuff up.
Mumia may have won some awards SINCE being imprisoned, but trust me, I've spoken to journalists in Philadelphia who knew him - he was a terrible journalist. And no, he wasn't fired because he was "too militant." I don't know where you came up with that.
Only one witness "recanted." Singletary. It's not surprising that he did so around the time his book came out. There were only 3 other witnesses, and they never changed their testimony.
Another thing re. Wikipedia: while there's no guarantee that some piece of information in Wikipedia is true, there's no guarantee it's *not* true. It could be true.
My reading on Mumia in Wikipedia suggests he won awards for his journalism *before* his arrest.
Whatever it "suggests," I know for a fact that he did not win any awards before his arrest. He was barely published.
Another thing, for all the fools who suggest that Mumia's a political prisoner, Mumia's pre-1982 writing was neither political, nor was it remotely critical of any government institution, branch, or policy.
But don't take my word for it - do your research. Look for something - anything - Mumia wrote pre-1982 that's critical of the government or police. You won't find a thing.
What I want "done with him" is irrelevant. I'm not as arrogant as some people who demand his freedom or death (ahem, Shukria). But I do think that he murdered Daniel Faulkner for no other reason than pulling over his brother. Which is grossly inhumane and irresponsible - and behavior that suggests that he's not fit to live on my block, or in society in general.
You're absolutely right. William Cook admitted to punching Officer Faulkner in the face, to which Faulkner subdued him with his flashlight. Thanks for arguing for my side.
Of course I want Mumia kept in prison. Someone who murders a man for no reason does not deserve to see the light of day - ever. Beyond that, I don't want a racist, militant, murderer living anywhere near me or my family. So stop with the stupid questions Shukria, because if you disagree, you're either lying or severely naive.
But Mumia didn't murder a man for 'no reason;' even you admit that there was an altercation between the cop and Mumia's brother. Mumia didn't shoot a cop for the hell of it - the cop was beating on his brother(or at least that's how it appeared to Mumia at the time), which cops sometimes do to people.
Re. Mumia being a political prisoner, his politics - his Black Associations, etc. -were brought up at his trial in 1982 and were used to convince the jury to return a death sentence.
Are you that ignorant, this comparison is lame. R King did the same thing Willaim Cook did .He was pulled over because he broke the law. King refused to pull over , He knew he had been drinking and that would be a parole violation, which he had for a previous robbery conviction for. He lead another OJ chase through S.CAlifornia. Maybe that why todays white cops have their ASS up regarding anyone who resists arrest. PROVOCATION IS NOT THE SOLUTION. You can"t be this retarded ,could you?
Wrong. William Cook admitted (repeatedly) to getting out of the car and punching Faulkner in the face, to which Faulkner defended himself by backhanding him - once - with his flashlight. It wasn't some ongoing, epic battle. It was over in seconds.
Rodney King? You can't be serious. I guess one black man is every in your mind.
So it's ok to shoot someone because they "appear to be" fighting with your brother? Thanks again for proving my point.
And no, the fact that he shot Faulkner until his gun was empty was used to convince the jury to return a death sentence. That has nothing to do with politics.
His association with ONE black organization (BPP) was used to show the jury that he was militant. And that was and still is perfectly relevant.
He was tried for murdering an innocent man .Not for his BPP affiliations. Or unless he submitted his Panther membership card before he drew his gun he should get a pass. Or possilby he left his cab parked illegally aroung the corner and shot him because he didn't want the ticket, you know those PHILLY PARKIN AUTHORITY CAN BE PRETTY RUTHLESS!!
Mumia wasn't tried for his political beliefs. He was tried for murder. And his association with the BPP wasn't brought up at sentencing (?) - it was brought up during the trial.
But you're wrong (again). If a white man in Alabama is on trial for an alleged racially motivated crime, it would be 100% relevant and 100% admissible if he was once associated with the KKK.
I'm not sure where you get your legal info, but it's really making you look foolish.
Mumia was tried for murder, but he was convicted and sentenced based on his political beliefs. For example, during the trial the prosecutor quoted Mumia as saying, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." This quote - made years earlier when he was a teenager - was used to show that he was a copkiller and was deserving of the death penalty.
You're the one who looks foolish when compare the BBP to the KKK.
Why do you guys(pro and august) have such a hate-on for Mumia anyway?
Other convicted murderers have been convicted of *more* murders and more heinous murders. For example, Paul Bernardo in my country(Canada) raped and murdered two teenage girls(and was definitely guilty). He didn't get the death penalty. Why aren't you guys on Youtube calling for his execution?
.Ted Bundy ,David Berkowitz, Jeffrey Dahmer,John Wayne Gassey and the list goes on .All of the guys all white by the way do not deserve to live on our hard earned tax dollars. They broke the law ,and the law states do the crime etc. DEATH was the law at the time. If you run a red light you get a ticket. If it wasn't DEATH at the time then keep 'em locked up Also what is the difference if it was 1 or 100 a life is a life.
Where have I or august mentioned anything remotely racist?
A murderer should not get this much recognition. Daniel Faulkner lost his life to a hateful, callous human being. Why shouldnt we be keen to see him go down This trial was a very news worthy event in the Philadelphia area. I lived in the neighborhood where it happened .Also witnessed the MOVE fiasco through the years it was around. The Faulkner shooting hit home to alot of locals.
Mumia's case became mainstream much later. Thats one good reason we are keen.
If the cops weren't there in the first place the cop would of been alive today. The cops had no business being there unless they were ordered by the government to take out all lower class up risings in unity spreading truth against those with corrupt powers. agree?
I've never said anything remotely racist on this site, nor have I ever suggested that I support the death penalty in any way, for any person (even Mumia).
Nor have I "picked on Mumia." I have no problem with Mumia - he'll serve his sentence and die. That's that. I do however have a problem with the idiots on this site who promote violence, accept murder, and are so easily manipulated by something as simple as eloquent speaking - to the point that they call for a killer's freedom. Sickening.
I've been watching the documentary film "Mumia Abu-Jamal - A Case for Reasonable Doubt" on Youtube: it shows an experienced ballistics expert debunking the police ballistics evidence against Mumia. Also, it shows William Singletary saying the police coerced his original testimony implicating Mumia.
Oh wow! You mean there's a documentary created by Mumia supporters that claim Mumia's innocence? You don't say!
We've been through these topics already: the ballistics B.S., Singletary's book sales, Mumia pleading the fifth during his own trial, etc. You're like a broken record. In fact, I think this comment was copied and pasted from another thread, because I've seen it before, verbatim.
See ya, Shukria. Have fun being a blind sheep and a broken record. I'm sure you'll go far in life.
Avoiding truth is believing the lies. Uniting as a people spreading truth against the US is a hazard to those in power. In revealing to all that we are equal and knowing we can live and love and spread truth across the earth by our actions. The police don't understand that they are the people also but protect the powers and take from the people instead of getting into the root of the problem. I'll say it over and over like a broken record. FREE MUMIA and FREE YOUR MIND FROM DECEPTION.
You are a broken record - that's nothing to brag about. If you're so hype on "knowing we can live and love," etc, then why are you supporting someone who murdered another person?
If Mumia didn't murder someone, don't you think he would have denied it by now? Don't you think his brother would have told his side of the story? With his life on the line, Mumia never once said "I didn't do it."
The difference between you and I is that I have a brain.
The extermination by any means of any black uprising in the black community was taking place rapidly across the US. Separation of powers within the black community was a threat to those in misplace powers. The bullet they found in the cops body didn't match Mr. Abuls peace.
The hospital staff would not have done the autopsy on the dead officer; that would have been done by a coroner. The police may have tampered with the coroner's findings as well.
Re. his failure as a journalist, at the time of his arrest, Mumia had "won several broadcasting awards" for his journalism, so he couldn't have been that poor of a journalist.
Shukria, Jamal was being heavily influenced by the MOVE tribe at the time. And MOVE and the police weren't on rel good speaking terms. Another policeman was shot and killed before at the Move compound. The city was under pressure to resolve this matter, but John Africa had refused as he resisted before to allow city workers to inspect the home. Move was making their own rules. The neighborhood as a whole wanted them out.
All this conflict left Jamal to lean more and more to the miltant side
Ok, just because he doesn't 'strike' me as a murderer doesn't mean he's innocent.
But watch other videos of convicted murderers(search 'serial killers' in Youtube). They either try to glibly deny their guilt - Mumia denies his guilt but doesn't seem insincere - or they candidly confess their guilt and show no remorse. Mumia does neither of these.
He just doesn't seem like fit in with other murderers.
Some needed to put a ball gag in that womans mouth .. Maybe a nice red ball made in France. Or maybe shove a couple fresh freedom fries up here nose....SOMETHING , ANYTHING, PLEASE!!! Have any of these professional protesters mentioned the tragedy of Danny This should have happened in Texas, ...Headstone would be in place.
i think that cop had it coming fuck him ...he was beating his brother . in a white mans point of view that is right ... when is wrong ..... and this man jamal saved his brother for the racis cop ... and thats wrong no is not .. fuck the white man
Mr. Cormega, his brother admitted to punching the cop first, to which Officer Faulkner backhanded him with his flashlight. Maybe in your mind it's ok to punch a cop for pulling you over, but go ahead and try it and see how far it gets you.
PS. the results are the same for white, asian, hispanic, jewish, arab, and indian people who punch cops, you racist idiot.
You see tha powerful got nervous Cause he refused to be their servant 'Cause he spit truth That shook heads And burned like black churches Prose and verses A million poor in hearses Watch tha decision of Dred Scott As it reserves So long as tha rope Is tight around Mumia's neck Let there be no rich white life We bound to respect Cause and effect Can't ya smell tha smoke in tha breeze
and mumia should be released. hell.. personally, you have some killer cops out here that get their kicks hurting and killing black people especially black men. how many murders were committed by police officers? look at the kid in oakland that was executed by the cop with his hands behind his back. if he killed the cop, he more than likely did it in self defense.
lol..... well i guess the move movement was so dangerous that philly's "finest" as well as the government decided to drop a firebomb on their building which contained children and women. not only did they kill a bunch of civilians in the process but burned down a whole block as well. the move movement didn't anybody. you just a racist that be burning crosses and hates black people.
Poppajah, you need to get your facts straight. MOVE took children hostage, and when the police tried to negotiate, MOVE opened fire.
And the police dropped a percussion bomb - not a firebomb. But since the MOVE geniuses had covered the roof with gasoline - David Koresh style - the whole roof/house/block went up in flames. And let's not forget who gave to order to drop that percussion bomb.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i got my facts straight buddy. there's PROOF that move didn't shoot first, the police did. in fact, they were ready to surrender because they didn't want to hurt the kids but the police was like fuck it. the whole house from front to back was shot up. and on top of that the BULLETS found in the home was matched to those of the police officers.
and regardless of what type of bomb it was, it's still a bomb. why would they use a bomb in the first place knowing who was in there?
they BOMBED a neighborhood. you do realize that lots of people lost their homes when nearby houses caught on fire due to the explosion. the whole block was burnt to the ground. if you ask me, it sounds like they really wanted to make sure they were dead otherwise they wouldn't have went that route.
Poppajah, yes, I realized what happened. I was there. What can you possibly tell me that I don't know already? See, I experienced this event first hand. You're reading about this event second hand. Who do you think is more knowledgeable about MOVE?
And when you say "they bombed a neighborhood," do you even know who "they" are? The reply to this should be stunning. Looking forward to tearing your next comment apart already!
you're tearing my comments apart? didn't you just cosign my statement just now. you seem to have run out of ammo.
and i'm not going to answer your question on who dropped what. after all, you were there so you already know. but then again, people ask questions to shit they don't know so.
Yet another dodge. The reason I ask is because it's obvious that you don't know. You keep preaching about how "they" did this, and "they" did that...and you have no idea what you're talking about. Pathetic.
Lying about your age? That's a pretty trivial thing to lie about. I don't think anybody here should count you as a very trustworthy witness of that event. Considering you may have only been a babbling infant.
Sure i can't at all confirm it but i dont believe that you're older or even as old as you claim to be on your profile. You talk more like a 20 y/o. Give or take.
Does the truth hurt? I don't know. Because you're a liar.
Yes, pathetic. Letting the youtube date of birth scroll land wherever it wants isn't exactly lying. But you're absolutely right - it's quite trivial.
I guess you'd try just about anything to discredit me. Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment. Basically what you're telling the youtube world, is that you can't even begin to challenge my arguments, so you try to distract from the topic at hand. Who are you? George Bush?
lol. I'm not trying to discredit you at all man. I just noticed that you're a liar and I'm pointing it out. I mean, you could even be a chronic liar. Who knows? But come on. I think you know you're lying to everybody. So why not just stop? I think the truth is always better wouldn't you say?
You're delusional. You think what you want to. But just because you believe/disbelieve something, doesn't make it untrue.
I think you know Mumia's guilty as sin, as do most of his supporters. For some twisted rational (i.e. "The cop deserved it"), you tend to overlook this simple fact: a man who takes the law into his own hands shouldn't be living among people who don't. In other words, a murderer should stay behind bars.
lol. I don't believe Mumia is guilty and I definitly don't believe in sin. And I think you know the statement about one taking the law into his own hands is a very ignorant one. Under no circumstance should any man take the law into his own hands? To believe that is sure ignorance.
Well, since you're dodging the question by speaking abstractly, I'll just ask you point blank: what exactly do YOU think happened that night? And if Mumia shot Faulkner, do you believe it was justified? Because up until now, you've been running your mouth without saying anything.
EZLNbrother, you need to get a grip on reality. You haven't said anything remotely thought-provoking in this thread. Why don't you take a look again at my last comments and use that brain of yours to answer the 2 questions I've asked. Otherwise, don't respond at all.
"Today, the US Supreme Court rejected Mumia Abu-Jamal's appeal for a new guilt-phase trial. The Supreme Court has not yet decided whether to consider the Philadelphia DA's separate appeal, which is attempting to execute Abu-Jamal WITHOUT a new sentencing hearing."
The above clearly portrays a weakness in the justice system.... especially when The Beverly Affidavit clearly contradicts the conviction... which also should prove this man "not guilty"

America sentences people to excessive jail time, its no wonder when people think they will be arrested they go to such lengths to evade capture, i dont blame anyone that kills a policeman in America they are just nosy fucking cunts always wanting to stop people just to show a bit of power.
jamal is a deciever and formost a murderer. no one killed his brother
honestly i dont know how this shit starts.
its great that everybody that is not from the united states learns about our culture
from the movies. well here are the facts
on this site sorry but this is how i HAVE to post this (danielfaulkner(dot) you owe it to yourself to look at the info then form an opinion ABOUT THE CASE. TIME TO PULL THE MASK FROM OUR EYES!!
Sounds like you have more than a few issues. But killing cops isn't ok, Robodisco. Killing anyone isn't acceptable. Were you not taught that in kindergarden? Or are you just some twisted morbid fuck?
I'm white and I don't think what happened to this guy is fair. Even, if he did kill the cop, there's no way that it could have been first-degree. I doubt he even killed the guy. I'm not even a radical peace nick. I don't even always disagree with the death penalty. I just don't think this is right. He should have another trial!
"santabadd", another shining example of the prototypical internet tough guy who consistently displays his lack of mental acumen and no grasp of the facts....you're just another mumidiot whom i have destroyed and eviscerated in the past, so tuck your tail between your legs and run back down to your basement and hide...by the way, i believe they're expanding the visitor's list for the cop killer--have you thought of applying?? you know, say goodbye to him in person? thanks for blocking me
i dont waste more than 30 seconds talking shit on youtube, but you clearly illustrated your burning desire to put me in my technological place with your lame 10 minute rant on your projection of insecurity in basic 'tough guy' terms.
what are you going to do moron, storm the gates of the prison??!! get real mumidiot...your hero will never be released, will never be retried, and in fact, he and his lawyers now have to contend with a petition from the DA requesting a new execution date...LOL, put that in your peace pipe and smoke it...
Yes...I agree bigb5949 do need to shut the fuck up and he is a loser. I believe I curse this bitch out on Assata Shakur page. He just don't have shit eles to do with his life. This is what he lives for.
Nurse, With respect, saying that he's guilty because he was convicted is the quintessential tautological agrument. Essentially, it's saying he's guilty because he's guilty. Clearly, there have been false convictions throughout history as well as juries that have come to the wrong to conclusion.
The French should mind their own business and stay out of ours.
In an exchange of gunfire during a routine traffic stop, officer Daniel Faulkner was shot and killed and Abu-Jamal was wounded by a shot from Faulkner.
A .38 caliber revolver, belonging to Abu-Jamal, with five spent cartridges was retrieved at the scene. Shell casings and rifling from that weapon are consistent with bullet fragments taken from Faulkner's body.
These facts are undeniable, making Mumia Abu-Jamal a murderer.
did you just tell the french to stay out of your buisness!? imagine that! a fucking amercan telling people to mind their own buisness. why dont you tell you army and government to keep their nose out of EVERY FUCKING COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. free MUMIA
Your Puerto Rico is a territory belonging to the United States, subject to US jurisdiction and sovereignty, with residents holding US citizenship and serving in the very army you dislike so much. Puerto Ricans have participated in all US wars since 1898, including the current ones. Given that, you're the "fucking american" and it is your "army and government." So, if you really want anything told to them, I suggest YOU do so.
Man, these crackers still in denial about why the black nation as a whole is the way it is. A new trial is warranted. Its denial is not occurring for fear of Mumia's release, what is feared is the governments culpability and thus humiliation for its participation in Mumia's and other freedom fighters persecution.
Those who support his persecution at some level know this.
Period.
DaudMusa 1 year ago
@DaudMusa Actually, you're wrong. A new trial isn't granted to anyone who asks for it. After all, most people in prison claim to be innocent. And...you're wrong. Mumia's a joke. He's not a freedom fighter - he's a coward. I'd have more respect for him if he just came out and admitted that he shot Faulkner 5 times, because we all know he did - even his dimwitted supporters. So what's your excuse for being so naive?
august1876 1 year ago
@august1876 Your right, new trials are not granted for anyone who asks for it, they're granted for those who present evidence to justify a new trial. From recanted testimony to evidence the crime scene was tampered with, have been ignored in Mr. Jamal's case. Most people can claim anything, the issue is if there is evidence to support their claim or not. Many people have been released in recent years and have not had half of the available evidence that Mr. Jamal has.
DaudMusa 1 year ago
@DaudMusa I'd love to see you try to back up your baseless claims with some documentation. Despite your naive idea of how the law works, "Most people" cannot "claim anything." While you're attempting to cite your BS sources, maybe you can cite this new "evidence" you're talking about? Because a cop moving a hat does not mean someone's innocent. Sorry.

K0NGKR3T3 1 year ago
I've read the evidence and the trial docs on this.
Based on the evidence, they could have gotten a convitction but it would have been shaky. Based on the deliberate issuing of incompetent representation and the refusal to allow Mumia to defend himself he should at the very least be allowed a retrial.
He may still be convicted but you can't puff out your chest saying justice if fair and equitable and then deny a man a fair day in court.
rrtodd95 2 years ago
If you had read the trial docs, you would know that Mumia was allowed to represent himself. But when he tried to derail the trial (a common and juvenile MOVE tactic), he was reappointed an attorney.
Mumia's trial was as fair as anyone's in the US. He's the one who made it unfair for himself by 1. refusing to testify, and 2. trying to "put society on trial."
If we gave every criminal who claimed to have an unfair trial a 2nd/3rd/4th day in court, taxpayers would be broke.

Another thing that strikes me as strange about this case: Mumia was a journalist, albeit a militant one, with no history of violence or criminal record, and he's going to just, at age 28, out of the blue, shoot a cop in for a lame reason? It doesn't make sense.
(continued in next comment)
Shukria123 2 years ago
You claim Mumia shot the cop in the back, and the Philly cops "corroborate" this. I wouldn't trust the Philly cops to tell the truth; police in America lie all the time.
So it could have been self-defense.
Re. "cop was only questioning," *I* didn't make that up. That's the police and prosecution side of the story. Again, how can we be sure it's true?

That cop was beating on his brother; Mumia was coming to his brother's aid, and was probably acting in self-defence.
The Philly cops claim the cop was only questioning Mumia's brother about a traffic violation when Mumia came up behind him and shot him.
Problem is, police in America have been known for beating on people.

Shukria123 2 years ago
Shukria, you're wrong. Mumia's brother, William Cook admitted to punching Faulkner in the face, to which Faulkner backhanded him with his flashlight. Faulkner was handcuffing him when Mumia shot him in the back. The Philadephia PD and the 3 eyewitnesses corroborate this.
So...where did you come up with this "the cop was only questioning...etc.? Exactly. Made up.
And how in the world to you shoot someone in the back "in self defense?" Do you know what self defense is? Obviously not. Learn.
August1786 2 years ago
In these interviews on Youtube, Mumia doesn't strike me a murderer. If you watch interviews of people like Ted Bundy, they seem insincere and glib; I don't get that vibe from Mumia.
As for John Africa being a pedophile, I doubt that's true.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Well shoot! If Mumia doesn't "strike" Shukria123 as a murderer, then he must be innocent!
Still waiting on your explanation of how someone can shoot another person in the back "in self defense."
August1786 2 years ago
In this particular case, I don't have to explain how someone can shoot another person in the back in self-defence because I'm don't think the cop was shot in the back. That's the prosecution and police side of the story. It might all be part of the frame-up of Mumia.
And if the cop was really shot in the back, it wasn't Mumia who did it. A lot of witnesses who claimed they saw Mumia shoot the cop have now recanted their testimony.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Now you're trying to rewrite history? Are you saying that the hospital staff that treated Faulkner was in on this grand conspiracy to frame some wannabe journalist? Shukria, I have news for you, Mumia failed at journalism - hence his taxi driving "career". Look into it.
And sorry, you're wrong again. "A lot of witnesses" have not recanted their testimony. One did-for book sales.
You know very little about Mumia and that's clear. But what's amazingly sad is how little you know about this case!
August1786 2 years ago
Furthermore, a lot of young people(Mumia was in his 20s at the time of his arrest) have to moonlight as they develop their art e.g. driving a taxi, waiting tables, etc.
Re. witnesses, to be frank, this has turned into a confusing mess, with many witnesses recanting and then recanting their recantations and others changing their stories. So whom among the witnesses, pro or anti-Mumia, can really you believe?
Ok, August1786, if I know so little about Mumia, tell me about him....
Shukria123 2 years ago
Jamal"s silver tongued rhetoric is nothing new, he knows the value of making himself look like the martyr. The majority of the folk that latched on to this movement started with the hollywood elite, and other left leaning BOHEMIAN anti establishment types. It has been made into a circus.
The prosecution were made up with an integrity filled team. That proved their case on more than one occassion. I lived three doors down from MOVE we saw this coming early!!
mxpro2 2 years ago
You've really lost sight of reality.
August1786 2 years ago
I'm not making anything up:
It's in Wikipedia that Mumia won many broadcasting awards. I've also read the same thing in some left-leaning newspapers.
Mumia was fired from his broadcasting job because he was too militant and wouldn't stop running his mouth.
Watch "Mumia Abu-Jamal - A Case for Reasonable Doubt" in Youtube. It's a documentary film about the Mumia case; it shows many witnesses *recanting*.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Wikipedia isn't fact...you didn't know that?
Mumia may have won some awards SINCE being imprisoned, but trust me, I've spoken to journalists in Philadelphia who knew him - he was a terrible journalist. And no, he wasn't fired because he was "too militant." I don't know where you came up with that.
Only one witness "recanted." Singletary. It's not surprising that he did so around the time his book came out. There were only 3 other witnesses, and they never changed their testimony.
August1786 2 years ago
Another thing re. Wikipedia: while there's no guarantee that some piece of information in Wikipedia is true, there's no guarantee it's *not* true. It could be true.
My reading on Mumia in Wikipedia suggests he won awards for his journalism *before* his arrest.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Whatever it "suggests," I know for a fact that he did not win any awards before his arrest. He was barely published.
Another thing, for all the fools who suggest that Mumia's a political prisoner, Mumia's pre-1982 writing was neither political, nor was it remotely critical of any government institution, branch, or policy.
But don't take my word for it - do your research. Look for something - anything - Mumia wrote pre-1982 that's critical of the government or police. You won't find a thing.
August1786 2 years ago
Why are you so keen to see Mumia executed? Other people have been convicted of more murderers.
Shukria123 2 years ago
When did I ever say I wanted to see Mumia executed?
August1786 2 years ago
I'm aware Wikipedia isn't fact.
If you don't want Mumia executed, what do you want done with him?
Shukria123 2 years ago
What I want "done with him" is irrelevant. I'm not as arrogant as some people who demand his freedom or death (ahem, Shukria). But I do think that he murdered Daniel Faulkner for no other reason than pulling over his brother. Which is grossly inhumane and irresponsible - and behavior that suggests that he's not fit to live on my block, or in society in general.
August1786 2 years ago
I don't think it was just a matter of the officer 'pulling over' his brother; there was definitely an altercation.
You're basically saying you want Mumia kept in prison.
Shukria123 2 years ago
You're absolutely right. William Cook admitted to punching Officer Faulkner in the face, to which Faulkner subdued him with his flashlight. Thanks for arguing for my side.
Of course I want Mumia kept in prison. Someone who murders a man for no reason does not deserve to see the light of day - ever. Beyond that, I don't want a racist, militant, murderer living anywhere near me or my family. So stop with the stupid questions Shukria, because if you disagree, you're either lying or severely naive.
August1786 2 years ago
But Mumia didn't murder a man for 'no reason;' even you admit that there was an altercation between the cop and Mumia's brother. Mumia didn't shoot a cop for the hell of it - the cop was beating on his brother(or at least that's how it appeared to Mumia at the time), which cops sometimes do to people.
Re. Mumia being a political prisoner, his politics - his Black Associations, etc. -were brought up at his trial in 1982 and were used to convince the jury to return a death sentence.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Shukria, Why was Faulkner beating on W.Cook?
mxpro2 2 years ago
Probably for the same reason those cops beat on Rodney King in Los Angeles - they were overreacting.
Shukria123 2 years ago
Are you that ignorant, this comparison is lame. R King did the same thing Willaim Cook did .He was pulled over because he broke the law. King refused to pull over , He knew he had been drinking and that would be a parole violation, which he had for a previous robbery conviction for. He lead another OJ chase through S.CAlifornia. Maybe that why todays white cops have their ASS up regarding anyone who resists arrest. PROVOCATION IS NOT THE SOLUTION. You can"t be this retarded ,could you?
mxpro2 2 years ago
August1786 2 years ago
How do you know Faulkner only hit Mumia's brother once? Were you there?
Shukria123 2 years ago
Ahhhhh, the last resort of the foolish. "Were you there?" is synonymous with "I can't challenge your argument."
I'm basing that info on William Cook's statement. And guess what? He WAS there.
August1786 2 years ago
So it's ok to shoot someone because they "appear to be" fighting with your brother? Thanks again for proving my point.
And no, the fact that he shot Faulkner until his gun was empty was used to convince the jury to return a death sentence. That has nothing to do with politics.
His association with ONE black organization (BPP) was used to show the jury that he was militant. And that was and still is perfectly relevant.
Shurkria, you're losing this argument badly.
August1786 2 years ago
His association with the BPP should not be relevant at all to his sentencing.
In America you can't try people for their political beliefs.
Shukria123 2 years ago
He was tried for murdering an innocent man .Not for his BPP affiliations. Or unless he submitted his Panther membership card before he drew his gun he should get a pass. Or possilby he left his cab parked illegally aroung the corner and shot him because he didn't want the ticket, you know those PHILLY PARKIN AUTHORITY CAN BE PRETTY RUTHLESS!!
mxpro2 2 years ago
Mumia wasn't tried for his political beliefs. He was tried for murder. And his association with the BPP wasn't brought up at sentencing (?) - it was brought up during the trial.
But you're wrong (again). If a white man in Alabama is on trial for an alleged racially motivated crime, it would be 100% relevant and 100% admissible if he was once associated with the KKK.
I'm not sure where you get your legal info, but it's really making you look foolish.
August1786 2 years ago
Mumia was tried for murder, but he was convicted and sentenced based on his political beliefs. For example, during the trial the prosecutor quoted Mumia as saying, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." This quote - made years earlier when he was a teenager - was used to show that he was a copkiller and was deserving of the death penalty.
You're the one who looks foolish when compare the BBP to the KKK.

Other convicted murderers have been convicted of *more* murders and more heinous murders. For example, Paul Bernardo in my country(Canada) raped and murdered two teenage girls(and was definitely guilty). He didn't get the death penalty. Why aren't you guys on Youtube calling for his execution?
Why pick on Mumia so much?
Is it racism?
Shukria means 'thank you' in Swahili.
Shukria123 2 years ago 2
.Ted Bundy ,David Berkowitz, Jeffrey Dahmer,John Wayne Gassey and the list goes on .All of the guys all white by the way do not deserve to live on our hard earned tax dollars. If it wasn't DEATH at the time then keep 'em locked up Also what is the difference if it was 1 or 100 a life is a life.
Where have I or august mentioned anything remotely racist?
mxpro2 2 years ago
I'm not suggesting that you're racist; I just wonder if that might be one of the reasons you guys are so keen to see Mumia go down.
Shukria123 2 years ago
A murderer should not get this much recognition. Daniel Faulkner lost his life to a hateful, callous human being. Why shouldnt we be keen to see him go down This trial was a very news worthy event in the Philadelphia area. I lived in the neighborhood where it happened .Also witnessed the MOVE fiasco through the years it was around. The Faulkner shooting hit home to alot of locals.
Mumia's case became mainstream much later. Thats one good reason we are keen.
mxpro2 2 years ago
If the cops weren't there in the first place the cop would of been alive today. The cops had no business being there unless they were ordered by the government to take out all lower class up risings in unity spreading truth against those with corrupt powers. agree?
GFUNK714 2 years ago
I've never said anything remotely racist on this site, nor have I ever suggested that I support the death penalty in any way, for any person (even Mumia).
Nor have I "picked on Mumia." I have no problem with Mumia - he'll serve his sentence and die. That's that. I do however have a problem with the idiots on this site who promote violence, accept murder, and are so easily manipulated by something as simple as eloquent speaking - to the point that they call for a killer's freedom. Sickening.
August1786 2 years ago
I doubt Mumia killed that policeman.
At the very least he should get a fair trial.
Shukria123 2 years ago
August1786 2 years ago
Avoiding truth is believing the lies. Uniting as a people spreading truth against the US is a hazard to those in power. In revealing to all that we are equal and knowing we can live and love and spread truth across the earth by our actions. The police don't understand that they are the people also but protect the powers and take from the people instead of getting into the root of the problem. I'll say it over and over like a broken record. FREE MUMIA and FREE YOUR MIND FROM DECEPTION.
GFUNK714 2 years ago

The difference between you and I is that I have a brain.
August1786 2 years ago
The extermination by any means of any black uprising in the black community was taking place rapidly across the US. Separation of powers within the black community was a threat to those in misplace powers. The bullet they found in the cops body didn't match Mr. Abuls peace.

The hospital staff would not have done the autopsy on the dead officer; that would have been done by a coroner. The police may have tampered with the coroner's findings as well.

(continued in next comment)
Shukria123 2 years ago
Shukria, Jamal was being heavily influenced by the MOVE tribe at the time. And MOVE and the police weren't on rel good speaking terms. Another policeman was shot and killed before at the Move compound. The city was under pressure to resolve this matter, but John Africa had refused as he resisted before to allow city workers to inspect the home. Move was making their own rules. The neighborhood as a whole wanted them out.
All this conflict left Jamal to lean more and more to the miltant side
mxpro2 2 years ago
And because he leaned more and more to the militant side, he should be executed?
Shukria123 2 years ago
Ok, just because he doesn't 'strike' me as a murderer doesn't mean he's innocent.
But watch other videos of convicted murderers(search 'serial killers' in Youtube). They either try to glibly deny their guilt - Mumia denies his guilt but doesn't seem insincere - or they candidly confess their guilt and show no remorse. Mumia does neither of these.
He just doesn't seem like fit in with other murderers.

And let's not forget who gave to order to drop that percussion bomb.

i got my facts straight buddy. there's PROOF that move didn't shoot first, the police did. in fact, they were ready to surrender because they didn't want to hurt the kids but the police was like fuck it. the whole house from front to back was shot up. and on top of that the BULLETS found in the home was matched to those of the police officers.
and regardless of what type of bomb it was, it's still a bomb. why would they use a bomb in the first place knowing who was in there?

Poppajah, yes, I realized what happened. I was there. What can you possibly tell me that I don't know already? See, I experienced this event first hand. You're reading about this event second hand. Who do you think is more knowledgeable about MOVE?
And when you say "they bombed a neighborhood," do you even know who "they" are? The reply to this should be stunning. Looking forward to tearing your next comment apart already!
August1786 2 years ago 3
you're tearing my comments apart? didn't you just cosign my statement just now. you seem to have run out of ammo.
and i'm not going to answer your question on who dropped what. after all, you were there so you already know. but then again, people ask questions to shit they don't know so.
poppajah 2 years ago
Yet another dodge. The reason I ask is because it's obvious that you don't know. You keep preaching about how "they" did this, and "they" did that...and you have no idea what you're talking about. Pathetic.
August1786 2 years ago
August1786, what year was this event that you say you experienced?
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
Before you were born, obviously.
PS. That's not my real age on my profile, dummy, so try another weak-ass angle to try to discredit me.
Yeah, the truth hurts. But it must hurt YOU bad if you're reaching like this. Pathetic.
August1786 2 years ago
Lying about your age? That's a pretty trivial thing to lie about. I don't think anybody here should count you as a very trustworthy witness of that event. Considering you may have only been a babbling infant.
Sure i can't at all confirm it but i dont believe that you're older or even as old as you claim to be on your profile. You talk more like a 20 y/o. Give or take.
Does the truth hurt? I don't know. Because you're a liar.
Pathetic? lol
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
Yes, pathetic. Letting the youtube date of birth scroll land wherever it wants isn't exactly lying. But you're absolutely right - it's quite trivial.
I guess you'd try just about anything to discredit me. Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment. Basically what you're telling the youtube world, is that you can't even begin to challenge my arguments, so you try to distract from the topic at hand. Who are you? George Bush?
Better luck next time!
August1786 2 years ago
lol. I'm not trying to discredit you at all man. I just noticed that you're a liar and I'm pointing it out. I mean, you could even be a chronic liar. Who knows? But come on. I think you know you're lying to everybody. So why not just stop? I think the truth is always better wouldn't you say?
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
You're delusional. You think what you want to. But just because you believe/disbelieve something, doesn't make it untrue.
I think you know Mumia's guilty as sin, as do most of his supporters. For some twisted rational (i.e. "The cop deserved it"), you tend to overlook this simple fact: a man who takes the law into his own hands shouldn't be living among people who don't. In other words, a murderer should stay behind bars.
And you know it.
August1786 2 years ago
lol. I don't believe Mumia is guilty and I definitly don't believe in sin. And I think you know the statement about one taking the law into his own hands is a very ignorant one. Under no circumstance should any man take the law into his own hands? To believe that is sure ignorance.

So it's ok to shoot someone in the back, then in the face for writing your sibling a ticket? Awesome.
August1786 2 years ago
Of course that's not okay. Don't be an idiot.
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
So what are you saying? That SOMETIMES it's ok to take the law into your own hands? Well, if you do, prepare to deal with the fallout.
August1786 2 years ago
There are variables to any situation in which you have to adapt to. This is pretty simple I'm not sure why it's so hard for you to grasp. lol
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
Well, since you're dodging the question by speaking abstractly, I'll just ask you point blank: what exactly do YOU think happened that night? And if Mumia shot Faulkner, do you believe it was justified? Because up until now, you've been running your mouth without saying anything.
August1786 2 years ago
aw! Did i finally break you? Make you think for once?
EZLNbrother 2 years ago
Yet another dodge.
EZLNbrother, you need to get a grip on reality. You haven't said anything remotely thought-provoking in this thread. Why don't you take a look again at my last comments and use that brain of yours to answer the 2 questions I've asked. Otherwise, don't respond at all.

April 7th, 2009 - a great day.

Sounds like you have more than a few issues. But killing cops isn't ok, Robodisco. Killing anyone isn't acceptable. Were you not taught that in kindergarden? Or are you just some twisted morbid fuck?

They killed his brother, right? The one who's still alive today, right? What a jackass.

These facts are undeniable, making Mumia Abu-Jamal a murderer.
stewartx5 3 years ago
did you just tell the french to stay out of your buisness!? imagine that! a fucking amercan telling people to mind their own buisness. why dont you tell you army and government to keep their nose out of EVERY FUCKING COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. free MUMIA

casthand > "did you just tell.."
