  • I like this song very much..It makes me happy, because I too have rockin chair money.

  • this has to be my top favorite by hank

  • Hiram "hank' Williams is the best singer songwriter of all time. Lets hope that todays culture doesnt forget about him! I sure wont ever let his music die! i'm 24, wish more people my age appreciated it the way i do.

  • I was nine when Hank died. I still remember going to my bedroom with a cheap guitar and singing his songs to escape. I would get lost singing his songs and it sure brought some happiness to my life. To many young boys and girls live in a home that is filled with unhappiness, but life does get better. The heart can forgive which is a good thing, even though the mind never forgets.

  • He died when I was 10 & it still hurts! The God of Country Music!

  • They ain't nobody comes close to Ol' Hank!!

  • God love you hank

  • LOVE IT, THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!!!!!!!

  • My Sunday School teacher when I was a kid played steel guitar for Jimmy Dickens and he met Hank backstage at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis. He told me that he extended his hand to Hank and said "Hello, I'm Denny Reynolds." But Hank was "higher than a kite" on drugs. He said "His eyes were like big black marbles and he stared a hole right through me." Also he said "Hank didn't know I was on the planet and Hank had little clue he was either!"

  • @Kjensful gotta remember back then it was easy for someone to hooked on them. it still is but then laws about drugs werent enforced. i honestly dont know if they even had them

  • use to wake up to this and other Hank songs on sunday mornings, sure do miss my grandmother.

  • @princesslehaha Mothers Best Flour was a sponsor of a radio program many years ago..gfacekilla43 was saying that todays artists wouldnt hold a candle to artists like Hank, or represent a product like Mothers Best.

  • yes country the way it was the good old days you might say i know i would

  • I can totally relate to this song , coming home from war and having a fat bank account from a year of not taxable income, just wanted to rock nchair and relax lol.

  • Love this ole Hank Tune... Everyone is always argueing and comparing Sr, Jr, 3's sound and styles.. I like all of them and there very own sounds and styles... The only way i know to give them all equal credit is to say HELL YEAH to the WILLIAMS Family..

  • Wow yes there are faces.....lots of them.....and yes hank was the man and there aint nothin like the old timey stuff

  • hank sure knew how to sing if you agree let me know with your comments.

  • it dont get no better than this right here .gj

  • Jeez, I'm lovin' this tune and the photo, never saw it before. Lord, that guy brings tears to my eyes. It broke my heart when he died, I'll never forget coming home from playing pond hockey and my Dad told me that Hank was gone. My whole family went into mourning.

  • Thank u

My pappies old fishing truck was mighty dusty and smelled like chew tobacco and there was always a good ol hank tune a playin. thanks for the post

  • Now that's country!!

  • he aint dead

  • There is an old saying, something like - old country music superstars never die.. they just slowly fade away. I believe as long as their music is remembered and played, a part of them is still alive, always :)

  • @AlanPaladin I agree 100%!! Im 23 and most people my age wont even try to listen to Hank or any other old country. Thats all i listen to and i feel like even though Hank and most of the other great artist are gone, If we keep there music alive then they will never really be gone. I love Hank, im probably one of his biggest fans, and even though he died way before i was even thought of, as long as im around ill see to it he's not forgotten and his music will always be playing

  • @paddyo345 he died January 1st, 1953 at age 29.

  • I wish I coud have met Hank He was a amazing person and a amazing singer songwriter

  • Hank died a month before I was born, but it is my understanding that he was a down to earth fellow & a humble man, that anybody in their right mind would be glad to have as a friend. May his soul be at peace :)

  • I wish i could have met Hank to. There'll never be another one like him. Hank 3 is close as it's gonna get. I was born in the wrong era...i am 24, and nothings better around a campfire than some whiskey and Hank singin his heart out through the speakers.

  • I"ll drink to that!

  • @rickshunter1 it is AN amazing person and AN amzing singer... just sayin

  • hfpitman i love this song it gets five stars

  • Hank Williams is a great american legend.

  • Good. Never heard this one before. Bill
