Two things:

1. It's pronounced seggway, with a hard g like in the word egg.

2. He was in no way killed by being run over by his Segway. The coroner ruled that his injuries were consistent with a cause of death from a large fall. Besides, the Segway that he was riding weighs 120 lbs; unpleasant to be run over with, but far from deadly.
