I think many MANY southrons disagree with no racism and immigration. From what you say and want "Freedom, Security, Truth, Peace" we could say that the only things that differs from the northern people is the place in which you live and the flag.
alright bitch I had 3 of my ancestors fight in the civil war so you can go to hell you yankee bitches and you think your confederate well you better think differently.
look at the people in the 60s 70s 80s they were racist and niggers are more racist than whites and your a stupid yankee sumbitch I am the most redneck southern lovin person ever and if you got a problem then why dont you go get your stupid nigger president to come put down the south in my house. FUCK ALL U COON LOVIN YANKEES!!!!
@MrPc53 And you have taken a hallowed piece of history, and have plagued good Southern folks and the memories of fine Confederate Soldiers that fought under the flag with their perverse agenda. IN NO WAY does the Confederate Flag represent hate or violence. Heritage groups such as the SCV battle daily the damage done to a proud nation by these hate groups. The SCV denounces all hate groups, and pridefully boast HERITAGE - NOT HATE.
"I tried all in my power to avert this war. I saw it coming, for twelve years I worked night and day to prevent it, but I could not. The North was mad and blind; it would not let us govern ourselves, and so the war came, and now it must go on till the last man of this generation falls in his tracks, and his children seize the musket and fight our battle, unless you acknowledge our right to self government.
@LSskimandsk8. Indeed, Lee and Jackson were Abolitionists, if you don't count the slaves they both owned as people with inalienable rights. A fifth of the US Army was Southern-born. Almost 1/3 of Union generals were born in Dixie. Meanwhile, 180,000 black Southerners fought for the U.S. If you wish to honor the South, take down the treason flag and develop a more expansive definition of the region. The Confederacy was its hated colonizer.
@SamWiseGingy History is made by the winners. One governor could have had a speech declaring that the confederacy fought for, and stood for slavery. But many of other confederates at the time of the war would have disagreed. An if so, I garentee all documents of it have been destroyed. And so u say give me the evidense, give me proof. Well the truth was said and written, but no longer exists. And that's how the Union wanted it.
I could give you several more documents like this if they would matter to you.
Can you provide me one speech by a southerner made at the time of the civil war that confirms that the CW was not about slavery and the expansion of slavery to the American west?
@SamWiseGingy Im not from a southern state. I have no connections of the south but to only love it, and it's way of life. Im from Oklahoma, and yes got some indian in me which were mistreated at the time. And I'll give you documents and speeches of confederate forefathers that had no intentions of, or even liked the thought of slavery, even hated it. But only fought in the war for the south, and traditions, and agricultural way of life, and most of all to get the damn yankees off their asses
@SamWiseGingy And im just here to argue to old fuckwads like you about how slavery wasnt intended by most confeds and their rebels. And how I could fly that flag today, and not fly it for racism or ignorance to a different race of african or hispanic. But for the beliefs of most southerners and their ways. And the way of countrymen and farmers
It is nice to see someone post avideo on here that spreads truth about the south instead of racist crap! From one proud southerner to another i say thank you very much! Heritage not hate!
@SamWiseGingy We are spreading the TRUTH. History is written only by the winners, the civil war has been distorted by the education system and school books for years.
Also, if the South main goal was slavery, why did they free their slaves in 1863, half way through the war? Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson, they were abolitionists, that is fact.
Okay, find me the document, speech, or whatever that was made in the 1860s by the south explaining their rational for the war that supports your view. I have provided mine, let's see yours.
That's what you need to refute the document I have produced.
In the mean time all you have is a southern imagination.
Okay then find me a document that shows the Civil war was not about slavery.
It needs to be a primary source written by the south before or early in the civil stating their purpose for the war without reference to slavery as the main issue.
@LSskimandsk8 No, I dont mean in 1863 all the slave owners just said "your free". I mean in 1863, the Confederacy freed their slaves, it was law. And the Confederacy outlawed slave trade as well.
@SamWiseGingy What the hell is the CSO? I know of a C.S.A. but not a CSO, please inform me of what it means. OH and while you are at it, would you mind leaving us alone.
@SamWiseGingy I was going to leave it alone, but I can't take the glorification of TYRANTS and MURDERERS. I never slandered your heritage. I am not insulting the everyday yankee soldier, they were just doing as they were told. I am insulting the tyrants though. Although, those who marched with Sherman will never have my respect. And we aren't the ones spreading propaganda. We just want people to stop calling us racist, some confederates may have been racist, my point is that MOST were not racist
@SamWiseGingy Thing is, the north made itself a tyranny by forcing us back into the union. So a man who, was never able to own slave, never planned to own slaves, and didn't have the money to own slaves, was fighting for slavery? Explain that logic to me, please. Please, oh please give me some of your northern wisdom. So the murder of women and children made us want to give up? Hmm, then Sherman's plan didn't work, because after the march, the average soldier fought with the courage of 4.
(cont) Seeing as, at the end of the war, most of the men didn't have shoes. Sounds like we were a hell of a lot better than you yankees. We were also more patriotic for our country. 88% of all able bodied men joined the Confederate forces, 40% of your men joined the army. How sad. You had more men, we had a larger percentage of our population join.
And Rommel wasn't anti-Semitic. I know you would rather judge the merits of the south by a chosen few but even if you are representing Lee's and Jackson's views honestly, which I don't think you are, they are still not representative of the South.
@SamWiseGingy Most of the south was like Lee and Jackson. Only 6% of the south owned slaves in 1860. Most of the soldiers were not fighting for slavery, states rights, or the Confederacy. They were simply fighting to protect their homes and states from the Union invader.
I think many MANY southrons disagree with no racism and immigration. From what you say and want "Freedom, Security, Truth, Peace" we could say that the only things that differs from the northern people is the place in which you live and the flag.

Google this:
Call for a Referendum on a Tennessee Secession Convention
Speech of Tennessee Governor Isham G. Harris
January 7, 1861
There you will find a southern governor making the case for secession and civil war.
You will find that slavery was the root cause of the war at least in mind of southern men who called for the war in 1861.

Some southerners may have freed their slaves but few did until the boys in blue freed them from their masters.
Late in the war Virginia enacted a law that all free blacks were now slaves to preserve the proper role of the races.

I would be happy to leave you alone when you stop spreading your racist propaganda.

My ancestors fought to preserve the Union and to free the slaves. The south fought to preserve and extend slavery.
I will challenge the glorification of Dixie whenever and where ever I can.

@TheBoberton
Most were racist because all of the south was fighting to preserve and extend slavery.
As to tyranny compare the Confederate constitution to the Union constitution. In the Confederate constitution there is nothing like the 1st Amendment.
As to Sherman, the war would have ended anytime the south wanted it to end. Sherman made the south want to end the war.
As to Lincoln and Tyrants, please compare the writings of Lincoln to Calhoun and Davis.
