What's wrong with two neighboring countries wanting better political and economic relations. I would rather think Japan has better things to do like signing business deals than furthering the American geopolitical agenda that's already crumbling the US economy. PB Tony most Asian countries were capitalistic under caste system of masters and slaves. Its natural for Japan to turn to communism since Capitalism have never done anything to abolish the old caste system. During WW2 if you look at the ranks of foot soldiers and commanding officers. Peasant class rarely becomes officers and the kids from ruling elites never became foot soldiers. Communist flag only represents the change which conservatives in Japan failed at.

in Japan, before Democratic Party was organized , Liberal Democratic Party and Socialist Party were 2 big Parties. but Socialist party became very small and divided because Japanese citizen found out that they connected to North korea and even if they know that N Korea kidnapped JP citizen , they said N korea don't kidnapp them. then JP citzen upset and no one vote them.

PB Tony communism is never going to work in the ever constantly changing global economy. And they know this fact very well. But there is still one little catch and that's just a simple fact that its much cheaper and more efficient to rule with strong authority than softer approaches many industrialized rich democratic nations can afford to practice.

They had sent a delegation over in December 2007, from the 6th to the 10th, to restore diplomatic relations with China.

Thank you for that explanation. I must admit I am a product of the Cold War of the 1950s and anything commie just unnerves me. I will always be suspicious of communism in any form in any nation. For that I make no apology.
We use to say back in the day, "better dead than red." The way the USA is headed soon I may be the former and definitely not that latter.
