Does air alert offer effective exercises that focus on the important muscles to develop your jumping ability? That is only if your doing the exercises correctly and intensely. Thank You

I had ankle surgery about a year ago and thought it was over for good. now as a 6 foot white guy im dunkin 2hands . off the vertical! so no lazy excuses and no racial excuses. have some mental toughness and do the work. get results ...period!!!!

  • @sanosukeX2 ok now. A solid principle why it doesn't work is because at a high volume, usually resistance is very low and phased. You could sweat hard doing this level of intensity and not improve. A maximum jump takes torque and horse power. Basically a jump is very high intensity in throwing motion which means it happens in milliseconds. Now you go train with weights. That is easiest way. It is resistance training itself.

  • When i was about 14 years old i loved to play basketball, i would practice every day. practice my jumpers, layups, fastbreaks, until i got better. I would usually do leg work outs maybe once a week at the gym but that was it. If you want to jump higher you dont need a stupid program, just give your body rest after every day of practice, keep balling on the court, and youll start jumping higher, now im 16 and after all that practice my vertical is about 30 inches running!!!! 6'1" too

  • @ngocvi2611 i believe there is written to take 2 minutes rest betwen each exercise.... I've done it like that, and it worked for me - could touch the rim, now dunking 2 handers of one or two foot.

  • @TheAnclebreaker It's suppose to add 4 inches the first time, and a little less each time. Probably not after the first time, but maybe after the second.

  • @dreupt This is true and I apologize... It was the person that gave me the program must have said about 4 inches...

    However it does promise you an extra 1-2 from the squat hops and an extra 1-2 from the last week alone. So it promises you at least 2-4.

    I worked my ass off and I even couldn't touch the rim, but when I finished AA4 I still couldn't touch it but a few months later I can. Is it just becaus I grew older or something ? I'm 16 and 5'9

  • @atititudeF You reach your maximum jump about a month after finishing the program. Air alert destroys your muscles (the way any good exercise program should), so you need to wait quite a while for them to heal before you'll hit your true height.

    I apologize I meant seven days, not a month, but Air Alert itself says you'll hit your peak around a weeks after you finish. That doesn't mean you won't improve in the process

  • right! i ended AA3 a week ago. results arent the same for everyone but... why shouldnt it work? and also, it doesnt hurt your knees or shit like that i read everywhere. do it urself like dre says, and do it right! and dont expect a 15 inch gain... it will prob be between 2 and 6 inches (i could touch halfway the net and im bout 5 ft 9 and now i can hang on the rim). results will also depend on whatelse u do beside AA. next time some1 asks me does aa work ill tell them to watch this video lol

  • @stevejohnnash21 it fuckes up your knees if you don do it properly..u can'tt just go out there and start fuckin jumping without proper technique..so first of all find a tutorial.the other thing is strength..if you don have enough strength/muscles in your legs you can get tendonitis-JUMPER'S KNEE and all the work goes out of the window cuz u have to rest for couple of months..the last most important thing is STRETCHING!!!ALWAYS STRETCH AND WARM UP BEFOR YOU DO THE JUMPING EXERCISES

    My first experience with Air Alert helped me achieve my goal, which was to get up higher on my jumpers.

    I had tendinitis before, but if you do the exercises correctly, you shouldn't fuck up your knees. Oh well, I'm about to start again once school is over, all 15 glorious weeks :D

  • Air Alert is a pretty good program but for me I have seen better results from strength training (squats, lunges, deadlifts, calf raises) and basic plyometrics (squat jumps stuff like that). But like I said Air Alert is good but this is just my opinion.
