He is not presenting solutions to problems, instead he is further promoting war, by any means necessary. The war on terror is a farce, it is like saying that we should have a war on hate or stupidity. Terrorism is a floating ideology that cannot be destroyed with bombs or war, it has to be ended with us, and we have to start promoting peace and withdraw from foreign lands immediately.
forget taxes ...i want to know when we are going to stop RENTING the federal REserve Note...i can think of something far more better to spend 30million a hour on.come on America its that simple Vote ROn Paul and lets Own our Money.
I think it is interesting to note, that the United States is already trillions of dollars in debt, and just the interest rates alone on those debts is staggering. Although it hurts, doing away with the IRS will not help lower the debt. So, you remove yourself from Iraq and do away with the IRS.
You are now back where you started. Yes, the income tax might hurt, but how else are we going to decrease this nation's debt if we do away with the taxes that help pay for it? We have to focus on the present as it is now, or there will be no "idealistic future" as Congressman Paul is talking back.
All of those men are sick. They don't actually offer any solutions other than, "be optimistic". Sure, I'll hold my head up high and pretend that the United States is the greatest nation on the face of the Earth while they slip my retirement fund into their pockets. Have people really been brainwashed so well that they will elect a president simply because they believe the rest of the world is inferior to the U.S.A.? That's not patriotic, that's idiotic.
People need to take pride in their country. If you have to "pretend" that the nation you live in is a great nation, then just move to one you think will do better things for your sake and save some space for the rest of us.
Thanks for putting this together so I could hear what they are talking about without watching the entire sickening thing. Aside from RP I hear a big urge for war and no mention of the envoronment
Hey Steeltag, terrorism is a tactic, not an enemy. It's basically like saying we're fighting a war against blitzkrieg. You want to root out this tactic, think about the causes of this hatred toward our country. Our foreign policy forsters this attitude toward us and, in turn, we prescribe more of the same. Einstein said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
i don't think that einstein has much to say about insanity, especially since that was much of his later career, trying to disprove quantum mechanics, over, and over again. :D
i dont think that America can take another war. The people just wont have it. one of the reasons that we did so well in WWII was because America had the people's support, but they will not have it in this war. all this mud slinging at dem vs rep can be too much and over shadow's the country's issues.
WE'll be paying for another war with Iran and wont have time to talk about our economy let alone health care, social security, or education if any of these guys get in office. (except Ron Paul) And
The US is the most powerfull nation in the world because our world politics have been the most underhanded, and gangster-like. That power will soon end if things dont change.
not another war.....the same war....on terrorism ( read: Islamic fascism) but just a different location.....recall, the Prez. said this would be a long war...and its turning out to be that...terrorism has to be rooted out
i like how thompason just blurts out HARPER! like it's a quiz or something.hope u'r redy 4 rudy's supacrazy ass 'cause he'll slay HIllary. while watching that i FBIprofilerd myself into a rednek and fell in love with rudy. he's going to win. i need a shower.
This power is held by many state governors in the United States of America. All but seven US states have some form of line-item veto. Those states without the line-item veto are Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Vermont.[1]
I just can't see anyone else but Rudy or Mitt as being president... They are smart, sharp and have good plans.. The other guys all talk big, but in CODE and seem as tho they don't know whats going on... They go on tangent after tangent...
I don't even understand what you are talking about. Ron Pauls views are good. I agree with most of the republican candidates. Sorry for being a jerk earlier.
Sorry, you're right; I have misquoted him. Continuing on that point though, what has the US done recently with all that "power" that has actually helped the world? Name one thing.
But,do you honestly think that the US is the most powerful nation in the history of mankind? What about the Romans, the Huns, the Aztecs, the Qing Chinese or the British Empire? How do you judge power?
Could the Romans project power to any location on the globe? Could they put troops on the ground anywhere in the world in a matter of hours? The U.S. Marine Corps can. I'm proud of American power, not always proud of how it's used. Give credit where credit is due.
That may all be true, but is military might really power? What about lasting innovation or the respect of the rest of the world? Anyway, you're right; I am being pretty snide. It's just that beleiving you're the most powerful nation in all of history is a pretty powerful comment that the candidate seemed to say pretty lightly.
bahaha...that one guy said "this is the greatest nation in the history of mankind". Not only is that totally untrue, but it shows just how self centred some americans are :\
Well, that crap hole would be Canada. This has just proven what I said earlier in that some people think that the US is the god among men when it comes to nations. Have you actually even been to another country? Or at the very least, considered the opinion of someone else rather than using childish insults?
I've been to Mexico Argentina Brazil. They all have horrible governments and are not near what the American dream would have given them. This is the future of the world. Thats why we need a president who can help the whole world. I was just upset about how everyone is naysaying on the US, sure we have some problems, but This nation is awesome. I lived in Brazil for 1 year. Its nice, but the problems are horrible.. You can't do the same things in these other countries then you can in the USA.
No presidential candidate who keeps silent about the Compean and Ramos case deserves to be the next President.
No presidential candidate who sees nothing wrong with the cruel and unusual punishment imposed on the two border agents under the wrong statute of the law deserves to be the next President.
We want a wise and brave leader, not a coward, to be the next President of the United States of America.

Ron Paul is the sorriest excuse for a Republican who conveniently became a republican after realizing he couldn't get anywhere as a libertarian. He's a cenile old hippie who keeps using the same liberal talking points. The Lib playbook never changes, he sounds like an anti-war hippie from the 60's. I am counting down the days when he is knocked from his pedestal. Screw Ron Paul, and the donkey he rode in on.
Ron Paul is the ONLY republican who will and can win. Why? Because he is the ONLY anti-war candidate who can beat Hillary, who is now for the war in Iran( so is Oboma, Romney, and Rudy). Americans aren't going to vote for another pro-war neocon like Fred Tomson, Mitt Romney, or Rudy Giuliani. Ron Paul is our only hope to put America back on track, folks.

Every time I hear Guliani talk, he sounds like a psychic on a daytime talk show. Predicting the future on a level too high to fully comprehend. Romney makes me laugh when he speaks, mr. game show host.haha. I hate when they talk down to the people. I prefer when they level with us. These guys have not heard from economist predictions around the world. The great economic bubble needs to be filled and it will mean disaster for many.
Statistically, Ron Paul had less time than any other candidate. Why is that? He has proven that his support comes from real people (with real money coming in). He's proven that he is a top tier candidate coming in 3rd for the last quarter's fundraising. These debates need to have better moderation. The media shouldn't be in the business of choosing the next president.
Romney did nothing special for Massachusetts ( i live here), Giulianni is only famous cause of 9/11, half the other candidates dont believe in evolution and the only one who seems special and wants to kill the oversized federal gov't is Ron Paul.
because he refuses to believe that war is necessary to protect our freedom from being taken from us by muslim extremists who would love nothing more than to cut off the heads of our children if given the chance. people are so naive in thinking that our enemies only hate us because "we occupy their lands". He blames 9/11 on the US, and that bothers me. It should bother you, too.
im with you brother!!! and so is the silent majority in this country, i would'nt listen to these people, they quote the same
thing over and over and over, but give no solutions, millions
of others belive the same thing you and me belive in, we have given muslim extremists plenty of time thru negotiations, and enouph is enouph, these liberals have forgotten, pay them no mind. if you ask them questions on
how they would handle this situation, what do you think they would say.....?????.
Saying that he "blames it on America" sounds much worse than it really is. He says that it's blowback for our foreign policy, and that makes sense. Terrorists didn't attack us just because our nation has a majority of Christians or because we have prosperity or they hate freedom or some other such nonsense. It's a reaction to how we operate in the region.
Yes, we are stealing oil, and giving to other countries that we have business deals with. Also, do you have incorrectly assumed that I am a liberal, and therefore a coward, when I am a conservative, who thus supports small government and a humble foreign policy. You on the other hand are a war monger who is the antithesis of true conservatism. You make no sense.
When did Iraq attack the United States? And if you say "September 11th" I will be forced to remind you that Bush himself stated there is no link between the Al Qaeda and Iraq. Unlike ACTUAL WARS in the past, this is an invasion on our part. This isn't even an actual war because we never declared it as such through the Congress. You DON'T make sense because you are only feeding propaganda. Dissent is not cowardice, nor is it unpatriotic.
Mitt Romney is completely full of shit and looks like a glorified game show host. Ron Paul is the defender of the Constitution and looks similar to the Founding Fathers. RON PAUL 2008!!!
i thought of Pearl Harbor as well when Dr. Paul mentioned no attacks in 220 years. Pearl Harbor would be the only one, since Dr. Paul was absolutely correct in refuting Guiliani that no country was involved in 9/11.
I looked it up and it turns out Ron Paul was 100% correct. Hawaii was not admitted into the Union until 1959 so Pearl Harbor was just another attack on one of our empire's military bases.
He said eminant attack, which means that you know the attack is coming because you can see it, because it is 'Eminant'. Although there are many sources that say we KNEW Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor it supposivly was a sneak attack. Same with 9/11... So the only people laughing are at you.
an Eminent would be an attack you saw coming and could get ready for.. Like there army was lined up over there.. and you were lined up here.. you could tell a fight was about to commence. Whereas Pearl Harbor and 9/11 the places attacked did not see the attacks coming and did not know.
However.. both incidents were allowed to happen to get us into wars. Its basic military tactics.
AGREED 100%. There is soooo... much to say on this topic but I'm afraid that I will become a "terror" suspect if I say anything about our current govt. being unconstitutional.
well done summary. Glad I don't have to watch the full thing! Ron Paul didn't get enough time in the debate, given the fact alone that he is by far the smartest in the round.
I love (and when I say love I mean I can't fucking stand it) how Rudy changes the premises of the question as to whether or not we're heading for a recession into a condemnation of some democrat whose name he doesn't even know. With some Americans owning more money than some countries and fourty five million Americans without heatlth care; i'm willing to say that unfettered capatalism is a bad thing.
I'm sorry, but Mitt Romney is creepy. He's like a 50s sitcom dad... only later it's discovered that he's an evil robot who eats children. Robot or not, social conservatives (the golden children of the modern Republican party) will NEVER elect a Mormon.
haha, even though Guliani is likely my least favorite Republican candidate (and the fact that if he gets the nomination I'll vote Libertarian) that was still funny starting at 9:40.
Who is this has been movie actor? Who is this has been mayor thug? Who is this sell-out Arizona Senator? Who is this has been Gov.? The media wants us to believe they are our choices? No...Ron Paul is the choice if you are cocerned about saving this nation...Ron Paul 2008!!
All these guys are a bunch of idiots. They sound so stupid. McCain is a friggin retard. Mitt Romney has no idea what he's talking about. Rudy is a liar and balding faggot. Fred Thompson is from Night of the Living Dead. The rest are bunch of muppets talking out their asses like Bush. The only one that is solid is Ron Paul. Screw the democrats, VOTE Ron Paul for 2008!!
AMERICAN ENERGY WASTE is EVERYWHERE! We over heat and over cool our homes, businesses, offices, schools, churches. 10's of millions of outdoor lights burn during the day. Most Americans do not minimize their driving.Over packaging is the norm. Our landfills are busier than ever. Road construction in America is the ultimate contradiction. The ONLY way to reduce energy waste and over demand is by the economics of taxing energy, in lieu of Federal Income Tax. TAX ENERGY-NOT INCOME!
in regards to the lack of ron paul in this video. . he was only given 5 min. total and only 300ish words. so thare wasint much to put in thare. considering that he put most all of the Ron Paul stuff in (
You know statistically Ron is given less time than others. cnbc took a poll that showed Ron the clear winner by a wide margin, cnbc took the poll down. My video shows Ron @ about 80%. Click on my name if you want to see it. cnbc suggested hacking after being exposed.

Terrorism is a floating ideology that cannot be destroyed with bombs or war, it has to be ended with us, and we have to start promoting peace and withdraw from foreign lands immediately.

I think it is interesting to note, that the United States is already trillions of dollars in debt, and just the interest rates alone on those debts is staggering. Although it hurts, doing away with the IRS will not help lower the debt. So, you remove yourself from Iraq and do away with the IRS.
hugatree92 4 years ago

That's not patriotic, that's idiotic.
buffer88 4 years ago
People need to take pride in their country. If you have to "pretend" that the nation you live in is a great nation, then just move to one you think will do better things for your sake and save some space for the rest of us.

Einstein said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
aliveshecryed 4 years ago
i don't think that einstein has much to say about insanity, especially since that was much of his later career, trying to disprove quantum mechanics, over, and over again. :D

i dont think that America can take another war. The people just wont have it. one of the reasons that we did so well in WWII was because America had the people's support, but they will not have it in this war. all this mud slinging at dem vs rep can be too much and over shadow's the country's issues.

Line-Item Veto,
Governors
This power is held by many state governors in the United States of America. All but seven US states have some form of line-item veto. Those states without the line-item veto are Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Vermont.[1]

No, he said it was the most powerful nation in the history of mankind, which is true. You hear what you want to hear, buddy.
excathedra24 4 years ago
Sorry, you're right; I have misquoted him. Continuing on that point though, what has the US done recently with all that "power" that has actually helped the world? Name one thing.
But,do you honestly think that the US is the most powerful nation in the history of mankind? What about the Romans, the Huns, the Aztecs, the Qing Chinese or the British Empire? How do you judge power?
Tr0x315 4 years ago
Could the Romans project power to any location on the globe? Could they put troops on the ground anywhere in the world in a matter of hours? The U.S. Marine Corps can. I'm proud of American power, not always proud of how it's used. Give credit where credit is due.
excathedra24 4 years ago
That may all be true, but is military might really power? What about lasting innovation or the respect of the rest of the world? Anyway, you're right; I am being pretty snide. It's just that beleiving you're the most powerful nation in all of history is a pretty powerful comment that the candidate seemed to say pretty lightly.
Tr0x315 4 years ago
bahaha...that one guy said "this is the greatest nation in the history of mankind". Not only is that totally untrue, but it shows just how self centred some americans are :\

GO back to whatever crap hole you were from.. N00B!
blackflag486 4 years ago
Well, that crap hole would be Canada. This has just proven what I said earlier in that some people think that the US is the god among men when it comes to nations. Have you actually even been to another country? Or at the very least, considered the opinion of someone else rather than using childish insults?
Tr0x315 4 years ago
I've been to Mexico Argentina Brazil. They all have horrible governments and are not near what the American dream would have given them. This is the future of the world. Thats why we need a president who can help the whole world. I was just upset about how everyone is naysaying on the US, sure we have some problems, but This nation is awesome. I lived in Brazil for 1 year. Its nice, but the problems are horrible.. You can't do the same things in these other countries then you can in the USA.

No presidential candidate who sees nothing wrong with the cruel and unusual punishment imposed on the two border agents under the wrong statute of the law deserves to be the next President.

Statistically, Ron Paul had less time than any other candidate. Why is that? He has proven that his support comes from real people (with real money coming in). He's proven that he is a top tier candidate coming in 3rd for the last quarter's fundraising. These debates need to have better moderation. The media shouldn't be in the business of choosing the next president.

because he refuses to believe that war is necessary to protect our freedom from being taken from us by muslim extremists who would love nothing more than to cut off the heads of our children if given the chance. people are so naive in thinking that our enemies only hate us because "we occupy their lands". He blames 9/11 on the US, and that bothers me. It should bother you, too.

how they would handle this situation, what do you think they would say.....?????.
okinawanmon 4 years ago
Saying that he "blames it on America" sounds much worse than it really is. He says that it's blowback for our foreign policy, and that makes sense. Terrorists didn't attack us just because our nation has a majority of Christians or because we have prosperity or they hate freedom or some other such nonsense. It's a reaction to how we operate in the region.

Dissent is not cowardice, nor is it unpatriotic.

i thought of Pearl Harbor as well when Dr.

He only makes sense to people that have the intelligence to know the difference between a country attacking us and a terrorist group.
quistoman 4 years ago
Really?? Pearl Harbor was attacked by a terrorist group??? Hmm...
n382go 4 years ago
He said eminant attack, which means that you know the attack is coming because you can see it, because it is 'Eminant'. Although there are many sources that say we KNEW Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor it supposivly was a sneak attack. Same with 9/11... So the only people laughing are at you.
BenHileday 4 years ago
Soooo...you lost me. Are you saying it WAS or WAS NOT eminent? It sounds like your conspiracy theories are conflicting with your Ron Paul defense.
n382go 4 years ago
an Eminent would be an attack you saw coming and could get ready for..
