Obviously, they could only keep one song when they released Achtung Baby and they chose "The Fly" and "Lady" was relegated to a b-side. Both are great songs.

But many of them are exactly what Adam plays. How do I know? I saw U2 front row and watched Adam play most of the songs on the list and most of the time it was exactly what I played.

Turn your right tone knob all the way up and play with a pick to get the added crunch. Adam plays New Years day with a pick too but I like to use my fingers for that one. It's just more sleek that way.

on new years day instead of moving way back to the first fret on the A string move to the E string. you wont have to be moving as much.

adam clayton is only using the a-string, he tends to use play a quick open-A note between switching the "chords".

keep your fingers as close to the fret as you can to avoid that buzzing, but overall pretty decent bass playing
