About 10 years ago, my wife and I were at his concert. He tripped while playing as he walked through the audience, and grabbed by shoulder to keep from falling.
Ever since then, my wife has said she wished it had been her.
I suddenly started to be a fan of Rick Braun since not only he plays great music (which I often hear at coffee shops like Starbucks, in addition to hearing it on Smooth Jazz CD101.9), but also because of his last name. I know two girls from my school in my grade with that last name (although they are not related to Rick).
Also, there is an administrator on Wikipedia that often makes me think of Rick Braun. That's because his username is Rick Block.
i just saw rick live with richard elliot and all i can say is... AMAZING! i was front and center and got to take a million pictures and it was amazing! loved it!
Thank you for all your great efforts in giving us songs that feed the heart and relieve us when having stress. Thank you, also for playing "Emma's Song". Back in Feb/2008 at Yoshi's in San Fancisco I gave my tickets to my son & sister to go see you preform. My husband & I were looking foward to that but due to the tragic car accident and losing him it has been hard. He always turned on friends/family to your music. I'm the 1 that yells out play Emma's Song. Thank you so much 4 all do
I'm still going through recovery. Everyone COMING to this site knows Rick Braun is a great preformer. For those of you that are new to his music any album and all his albums are sooo good. He gives us the BEST of the best! Rick has smooth jazzy, kick back sounds and if you want beat that MOVES you he's got that too!
I write today because my marrige to my husband of 34 yrs he was my best friend. Rick plays a big part, My husband proudly turned on friends/family to Rick's music.
He would always look out for Rick Braun's concerts and book us right away! Rick's concerts are red carpet treatment. If you have time check out his site for tour info.
Thank you once more Rick, I am left with so many good memories of us together watching you preform. Sending my love to your family.
Take a look at the Marcinkiewicz website. Rick catalogs a mouthpiece model E9.3 in the Designer / Signature Trumpet Mouthpieces section. However, the mouthpiece in his photos looks more like the Pro-Line Concert Hall Trumpet Mouthpieces on the Marcinkiewicz site, in goldplate.
