HOnestly I *HATE* those kind of quests. Just give the sword to the player. Don't make him run errands for obscure characters as part of the plot. Golvellius had fun game play. And don't you forget it.
Wow, I missed this video. That's really badass. Are you doing all of the graphics yourself? It looks extremely professional. Even the text box looks commercial quality.
Awesome, I appreciate it. Yeah, I'm doing the graphics myself. It keeps me sane when I've pounded my head against the wall from a programming issue. :P
That's bad as fuck. Reminds me of the hags on Zelda: "Master using it and you can keep this."
I'm pretty amazed, your project's looking pretty freakin great. Keep up the great work.
What's the ten in the bottom left for? At first I thought you were trying to show the tokens as you did this "quest", then I realized it's gotta be something else.
The ten in the bottom is a carry over from the original 8-bit game. They're basically heart containers. They're not wired up yet, but the top gauge is your life for the current heart container, and the count says how many hearts you have left.
Right now they don't do anything... Its more just me testing out overlays. :P

Is the blue lander still present?

Of course! What would a Golvellius game be without Randar? :)
Notice the red lander icon in the corner. I'll post a video once I've got Randar modeled.
