  • not trying to be disrespectful but his habitual use of the capo is starting to make all his songs sound the same. Learn how to play more chord fingerings besides G-C-D . People with limited chord knowledge always grab the capo

  • check out my friends cover of this its probably the best on youtube pklfeedtheflame

  • There was some question about what guitar Mat is playing, I'm pretty sure it's a Gibson J45, if it were a collings, there wouldn't be an M1 in the soundhole. Also, since Gibson has been making it's workhorse nonstop since 42, there are a few out there.

  • OUR GOD IS STRONGER!!!!

  • what is that chord at 8:42???

  • @kanikagreen your mum

  • I love this song

  • Red Letter Hymnal does an awesome cover of this song

  • acck, i'm lost! , i get the whole chord progression on capo 4, but...what about the chord progression for capo 2?? i have noooo idea what chords they're in >.< please help? =(

  • @shizukaryuu On capo 2 you play the same chords technically, but since it is two frets down, you play the chords one whole step up from what you played on Capo 4. Like when you play G on capo 4 you play A on capo 2, and etc.

  • 4 people are being prayed for..

  • ha when Chris and Matt were playing that interviewer was just like sitting there like, DAT GUY WAS SO NERVOUS!!!!!!

  • this song is truly amazing!! it is the current song for the year of the group im in right now, it is very very beautiful, for us the "our God" means that it is the God we believe in, or God which is whom we see and believe in our lives... this song strengthens our convictions, faith and trust in him,

p.s. your talk about S.comps, Neurosurgeons, and whatnot; do remember that these things, thoughts and ideas came from the free will that we all have,

  • LOL, I didn't know Matt could sing that high! :D

  • @NickolaiVolkov listen to gloria lol!

  • Jesus is a liar, or didn`t mean what he said, He said his followers will drink poison and handle poisonous snakes without any harm. Don`t do it, because you know what will happen. you will be DEAD.

  • @tallliza hey i seen this little confrontation and im only 17 but i believe in God and i know Hes real...i wondered what would make you come and comment as you did earlier but i realize there's a reason why you were led here .. it was part of HIS plan for you now here is your chance to believe in him.. I DARE you to put God to the Test ask Him to reveal Himself to you! You have nothing to lose at all and He will But Seek Him with your heart not out of choosing to be ignorant but search for Him

  • @Verben1 I am waiting for any clear sign of his existence. If he can not give that, he really does not love me

  • @tallliza If you choose not to see him how could you expect to see him? Your like I Want to see God But choosing to leave your eyes closed, This Planet we Live on is Proof that we were created These things are too complex to be "JUST BY CHANCE".... the Plants that Give us air, the billions of stars and galaxies, our bodies are amazingly made to function perfectly?! n ill show how he loves you but lets just get this out the way first....

  • @Verben1 , our bodies are amazingly made to function perfectly you are living in a fantasy bubble. Our bodies are no showpiece of a superintelligent being. To the contrary it is sloppy work, what would be expected from evolution, but not from a superintelligent being.

  • @tallliza At the Beginning our bodies were made perfect and as a result of sin and disobedience...Discomfort, "sloppiness" , hard-labor ect. were permitted to be in our lives as a result...in heaven our bodies will be made whole again n perfect But For the most part im am pretty sure u are happy with your hands and legs being were they are n your eyes being able to give you sight ...if you study the body n if u study plants there is no way around it evolution could not have done such a work

  • @Verben1 At the Beginning our bodies were made perfect ... May I ask what evidence you have to make such a claim ?

there is no way around it evolution could not have done such a work--- If you can`t see that evolution is capable of that, you didn`t study evolution. There is such overwhelming evidence for evolution that the Cath. Church saw itself compelled to acknowledge it.

  • @tallliza If we all step out of our differences n take a step back n look around, there is too much detail in the little planet we live in that there must be a creator n then step out of our planet n go beyond ...its incredible....if take a bunch of pieces of a watch put it in a bag n u shake it around all you want but it will never become a watch someone has to put it together so that itll function properly... same i believe with everything we have today

  • @tallliza Have you taken an intro to psychology course? Are you aware that the human brain contains 100 billion neurons, each sharing a pathway with up to 20 thousand others? It's the most complex computing system in the world and isn't even touched by the most powerful supercomputers we've got. Compared with anything from the known physical universe, it's by far the most complex thing in existence. I'd say that's pretty amazing.

  • @Phil9019 Yes nature is indeed amazing. But any expert in any applicable field of science can testify, that what looks so well designed, is in fact a shoddy construction, without much logic. By the way, the most tiny computer, the size of a grain, has thousand times more calculating power as the human brain, Even the human visual memory is no match for the chimps` visual memory. Yes .the human brain is better in abstract thinking.

  • @tallliza Considering overall operational power and storage, the world's most powerful computer is no where close to the human brain. Read up on the "singularity." I'm not an advocate of it by any means, but even it's believers don't believe that computers will come close for over three decades.

  • @Phil9019 The human brain brain is peanuts compared to a peanut-size computer ,as far as calculations are concerned. I believe the human brain is unique in abstract thinking

  • @tallliza Right, this computer can calculate 294392785 x 85692225 / 99.2^2 faster than me. But concerning TOTAL computing power, our brains are literally thousands of times more powerful. But anyway, we've kind of deviated from the topic at hand. Haha. Well anyway, I wish you well man.

  • @Phil9019 That`s a ridiculous statement. I repeat human are no match to computers as far as calculations and memory, are concerned. A computer, in my opinion, will never learn abstract thinking.

  • @tallliza No. You just aren't right. At least do a little Googling before making such claims. Go to Bing and type in "even supercomputers not yet close to the raw power of human brain." It's not the only article on the subject, but it is from a very reliable source.

  • @tallliza Computers are lauded for their speed and accuracy, but they don’t hold a candle to the human brain when it comes to tackling complex mathematical problems, Dharmendra Modha, director of cognitive computing at the IBMAlmaden Research Center, said.

  • @Phil9019 Then explain to me how the computer is used to solve the most complex calculations in hours, what the human brain would not be able to solve, in a lifetime ?

  • @Phil9019 Then explain to me how the computer is used to solve the most complex calculations in hours, what the human brain would not be able to solve, in a lifetime ? The computer stores more data in a grain, than the human brain can hold in its entire life.

  • @tallliza Thanks, but I'll take the word of the supercomputer expert over yours.

  • @Phil9019 Thanks, I take the word of neuro-surgeon over yours.

  • @tallliza You didn't get your information from a neurosurgeon. You formed your hypothesis based on what you'd assume to be conventional wisdom. The man I quoted, Dharmendra Modha, is the world's authority on cognitive computing- otherwise known as artificial intelligence. There's literally no man more qualified to discuss the topic than he, so there's not much else to be said.

  • @Phil9019 I am looking into the guys statements about computers.

  • @tallliza "We have no computers today that can begin to approach the awesome power of the human mind,” Modha said. A computer comparable to the human brain, he added, would need to be able to perform more than 38 thousand trillion operations per second and hold about 3,584 terabytes of memory. (IBM’s BlueGene supercomputer, one of the worlds’ most powerful, has a computational capability of 92 trillion operations per second and 8 terabytes of storage.)"

  • @tallliza It was a human brain who invented the peanut-size computer...It takes a human brain to operate the peanut-size computer...it takes a human brain to program peanut-size computers to work...so who is smarter?

  • @tickledpink4u The human brain has no rivals as far as abstract thinking is concerned. As for calculations the human brain is no match tot he computer.

  • @tallliza God isn't going to prove himself to you. It seems that everything you say is without regard to the theme of faith. If he gave you a "here I am" sign, then there'd be nothing left to it.

  • May we worship You and give all the glory to You.. FORGIVE US THAT we tend to set our selves as "good" before other instead of selecting you as the best in everything!!!!

  • Lord help us to be able to put u before anything else and lord change our mind sets to u first then any other

  • this song is god gifted song

  • @tallliza

You can think that, but dont say it. Just keep it to yourself!

  • @acfields12 Gives you something to ponder.

  • @tallliza appreciate your candor about how you feel. It may look like that to you, but none of A-D is true about Jesus. The real issue is that He gave everything to have a relationship with you...will you take Him up on it and learn who He really is? what He is really like?

  • @thedeans5 The real issue is that He gave everything to have a relationship with you... There is no evidence for the salvation story. NONE. Do you find it conceivable that ANYBODY witnessing all those miracles, the resurrection,( not only of himself but of a lot of dead, who wandered though Jerusalem) should not be persuaded that he was indeed the Messiah. Yet his own people claim he did not fulfill the prophecy. Why ? because all those miracles and the resurrection didn`t happen.

  • @tallliza I think the fact that many WERE persuaded is the reason that He, Jesus Christ changed the world. From the time of his death and resurrection, the world was never the same. It happened...many of his disciples were persecuted and were killed for Him and his message of salvation. Remember, people may live for a lie, but they won't die for a lie.

  • @mecheng5by5 Nothing changed. Christian nations make war, just like others. That the diciples were martyres for christ is very doubtful. Here is an article from a Christian apologetics site: "For information concerning the persecution and execution of the other apostles (than James), one must turn to Christian historians. The most important of these is Eusebius. Eusebius was bishop of Caesarea in the early 300's AD. There is no reason to assume that Eusebius made up his accounts, CONTINUED

  • @tallliza CONTINUED...but because he wrote over two hundred years after the events, one would do well to be cautious in assuming that we know without question how these disciples died."... End of quote.

  • @mecheng5by5 , people may live for a lie, but they won't die for a lie. They didn`t,

  • @tallliza you don't see "signs" because you don't want to see them. To be honest it's understandable to want proof but it says in the bible that "the jews demand signs and the greeks seek knowlege but we seek Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the jews and foolishness to the greeks." 1 Co 2 depending on which category you fall into, it says something about how you think. Jesus died to pay our ransom. That's all you need to know. Signs are irrelevant after a while :-/

  • @tallliza so do you expect whatever you pray for to just fall in your lap at that second? what you pray for God will listen to it and reply to it but it can take time. you learn patience and faith. God is not a liar. Before you go over your head and and talk smack about something you should probably learn a little so you dont look so dumb

  • @SurferBro777 Why are you beating around the bush, Genius, No answer ?? Why didn`t we get peace in 1939, when the whole christian wolrd was praying begging for peace, litterally, day and night, in Jesus name. Was it not a worthy cause ? Or did he prefer WAR? I wouln`t be surprised, given his reputation in the Old-Testament.

  • @tallliza do you expect me to know the answers? you shouldnt cuz im clearly not God. but He does things for a reason and we dont question it. i wish you would quit spending your life going on Christian songs and starting debates but rather go bury your head in a bible and spend every Sunday in church to understand that He does everything for a particular reason and its a perfectly good reason and we trust Him. Im done with you. I hope God has his way with you (and no thats not a threat)

  • @SurferBro777 Glad to see you have no answer. Enjoy your fantasy.. Till we meet again !!

  • @tallliza look obviously you had some sort of interest in God if you took time out of your day to click on a video that has a song that worships God. i know that God is in you and trying hard to do His work in you and make you a believer. God loves you, i hope one day soon you will realize that.. God bless

  • @tallliza There are no "undeniable" signs in the physical world because that would conflict with the one thing God asks of us- Faith. He tests us all, admittedly to different degrees, but we all have adequate opportunities to accept him before death. I and many believe that Our God is a compassionate God, and likely would not have a child or infant suffer in hell as they aren't able to make the choice to follow. I hope this helps and I truly hope you one day put your faith in God. God Bless.

  • @Phil9019 I and many believe that Our God is a compassionate God.. If there is a god, t he cannot be compassionate, loving, caring, just, almighty, unless thes attributes have nothing incommon with what we humans call goodness, love, compassion, justice. The facts on earth contradict such qualifications.

  • Comment removed

  • @tallliza His compassionate is in His forgiveness. If he were "compassionate, loving, caring, just, almighty" in the way you are referring to, with everyone's lives going perfectly and no pain in the world, then our purpose, faith, would be void. If everything were perfect and nothing went wrong, there'd be nothing left to free will and judgement and faith. If the world weren't blemished, then there'd be no purpose for Heaven, as we'd essentially all be there already. It's all a trial of faith.

  • @Phil9019 If I understand you correctly, we have to suffer here on earth, to be able to enjoy heaven later. Just tell me why the INNOCENT have to suffer. ? Why did 100.000 innocent children have to perish in Haiti. It makes no sense. There is NO reason. Except that there is no loving, caring, compassionate god. There cannot be !!

  • @tallliza The 100,000 innocent children in Haiti likely went to Heaven, as I already pointed out. I've addressed the suffering subject as well. And no, we don't "have" to suffer. When you accept Jesus and let him grow in you, there's no more suffering.

  • @Phil9019 I do hope thsi heavenly loving father will take your loved ones, after all they likely will go to heaven.

  • @tallliza i agree with you that it is very tragic that people have to suffer such as children in Haiti. but what your not understanding is that God isn't the cause of these things. and although it may seem that God is just sitting there and letting people die, it is simply not true because i have heard of many miraculous events coming from these disasters and God has worked through these hard times.people being found under rubble after 7 days of searching etc. Some of the stories are incredible!

  • @sarbas46 He has control over the elements. Either he is a desinterested onlooker of human misery, or worse, a sadist, enjoying human suffering. If your dad acted like god, he would be in jail with a life-sentence.

  • @tallliza -

there's a lot to the story you don't know: God made the earth for the man and woman to rule, for EX: the man (Adam) named all the animals; it wasn't God's job, but Adam's (Genesis 2)

then the devil in the form of a snake, talked the woman into eating the fruit they should not eat and the man and woman lost their position to the devil (Genesis 3), it was us, or Adam and Eve, that lost our hold long ago... but was just the BEGINNING of the story that we are now in the middle of

  • @pup5 Go back to school and learn something REAL., instead of all this nonsense.

  • @tallliza - sorry, not nonsense, if you still want to learn, you can, but if you think you've learned it all, you won't learn any more than you have... the ball is in your infinite court - I'll say nothing more

  • love this song

  • From 3:10 to 3:12, Chris Tomlin says "In my mind I could just hear people shouting that out" and that's exactly what happened when they came to Manila! The whole crowd was just shouting that out! "IF OUR GOD IS FOR US, THEN WHO COULD EVER STOP US AND IF OUR GOD IS WITH US, THEN WHAT COULD STAND AGAINST!"
