I don't care honestly if it was real or not. I'd prefer it not be real in some ways because I feel bad for the woman. I mean god, what she did was harmless. They spend months texting and calling each other. Megan sends him a song which she claims to have recorded, he looks it up on Google and Youtube and finds out she lied. Nev decides to investigate...

i hated her so much after seeing this.... but I understand that she isnt an evil or hateful person, so its kindof a love/hate relationship, I hope angela can read her fanmail and hatemail, because I believe this is a true story and many of us want to share our feelings about the movie with the star.
In my opinion the film was fake...If it does anything, it highlights the perils of putting too much out about yourself on the internet and of the people who can exploit that information.
Nev Schulman, Angela Wesselman and Aimee Gonzalez (three artists) make a "so called" true film, which gives all three instant kudos! The film basically highlights how easy it is to make up a fake persona on Facebook, steal an identity and have multiple accounts to back up that identity. It then also highlights how easy it is to expose the person's lies and use online resources (Google Earth, directories etc) to be able to track them down (if so desired)....
