I think that Calisanz could benefit a lot from training with Higaonna sensei.. maybe going back to the traditional roots of Goju may help his karate and learning from a true 10th dan master such as higaonna sensei is never a bad thing.....

In closing:Goju-Ryu was the first officially recognized style of Karate in Japan by Dai Nippon Butokukai and the only style of Karate with a full historical representation in both Okinawa and Japan.I dont mind Hybrid system as long it has traditional Martial Art roots.

I admire the fidelity to your instructor, but the true is that the way Calasanz perform goju kata is totally different than all the others goju kaiha in the world. Not only in the way Calasanz executes each technique and each breathing, but also the general pattern of the kata. The pattern off shisochin is the same in all goju kaiha and other ryuha that includes shisochin. Only Calasanz changed it for not visible reason.
