  • I feel sorry for the poor little robot. It got stuck in loose sand and will probably not be able to get out. Had a life expectancy of 90 earth days, but lasted 6 years

  • ส็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็

  • Hey Wallie nice balls, Bounce baby bounce. Waalllllliiiieeeeeeeee.

  • lol fail... your right!

  • this guy uploads one video and gets almost 480,000 views, i upload 15 and i get barely 2,000 :(

  • 38 people fail at space

  • OMG It took 7 months to reach on mars from earth. So far omg. And also sun looks so small from mars. I've heard that there could be life on mars cause scientists have found there creatures. That's true now I am looking forward to learn many many things.

  • Cools

  • When it came there, I bet it was like ''im on mars, bitch.''

  • Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life

  • great

  • I like to make myself believeeee, that someone'll travel, toooo Mars, slooowwlyy.

It's hard to say that I'd rather stay on Earth as I fall asleep. But everything is never as it seeems!

  • @kdum8 because if you actually think about what ur looking at you can see that it is just a simulation and if you research about mars, i am pretty sure that they sent out a rover (there is a more specific name of it but i forget at the moment) this summer but then it broke because one of the sensors werent working. You cant just believe everything you look at.

  • NASA US GOVERNMENT WILL INVASION OUR PLANET PLANET MARS.EARTHIAN MUST DESTROYS.PLANET MARS MUST CLEAR FROM EARTHIANS.NASA CAN MAKE DESTROYING LIKE EARTH.SEE THEY'RE COUNTRY USA.PLANET MARS MUST CLEANS.

  • i have a blog sci fi : suro invasion on the computer...

  • Sucks this is not real footage as obviously someone would have to follow the rover with a camera and film it landing, bouncing etc.

Life did a great article back in May of 1990 with Mars on cover talking about the process of converting Mars over stages of time to a planet that was livable. (Check EBay) I love the article!

  • @BennyB5555 I'm thumbs uping your comment solely based on your first paragraph explanation.

  • I will be a psychopathic murderer on Mars during the 2090s (in a future life), yet Police & the legal system refuse to allow my confessions to prevent victims’ deaths.

My ‘fate’ was revealed to me in a session with a friend’s Regression Analyst, after he sensed my unresolved traumas. As soon as he spoke of my future life, it all fitted into place perfectly. I have always suffered social guilt complexes, mixed with episodes of brutal violence. Now I want to move on with my life, BUT NEED HELP.

  • Did you follow that sattelite in a rocket or floating in sky?

  • ok so this isnt real...... LOL

  • @IEatYourPig How is it not real?

  • Comment removed

  • Holy. Fucking Shit. Amazing.

  • Do they get the rover to return to earth :O>?

  • we cant live here because its made out of carbon dioxide

  • @xobumblexbeeox Planet of cocain, for plants.

  • 3:03 reminds me of the boucing brains from futurama

  • @xobumblexbeeox no its not it just needs to be reheated

  • mars is like half the gravity of earth right?

  • @JERKMONKEYYEH yah, their gravity is more like 2/5 compared to Earths.

  • will someone tell me why we spend billions of dollars of tax people money just to find out if there's water on mars????????

  • @PLISKEN12 so in the future humans can live there and we can start a new life.....you see pollution on earth is a bad thing.....but on mars it's a good thing...and the gravity isn't as high and there is SOME oxygen so we can hopefully plant trees there and stuff and we can start a whole new life there and it would all turn out okay...and if we find water...then we can live there...it would be pretty amazing wouldn't it?

  • @JERKMONKEYYEH would u like to live there w/ everyday harsh weather and red sky? doesnt sound very appealing. i dont think u would like to live in the north pole, why would u like to live in mars. what do u think? thanks for reply.

  • @PLISKEN12

    look up terraforming.

  • I was in Mars few days ago I saw Michel Jackson their wanking and suddenly I loin attacked me than I woke up

  • Get your ass to Mars and see you at the party, Richter!

  • thats a good bounce house 2:50

  • extraordinary work!!!!!!!!

    really fantastic!!

    congratulations

  • is this a cartoon?

  • @copburner It's "CGI" (Computer-Generated Imagery). It was, of course, impossible to film the Roverfrom the outside, since there were no cameras to do it.

  • @YDDES ok i got ya, i was drunk when i watched this, thanks

  • @copburner Are you serious?

  • Since when have 3D animations replaced reality at NASA?

  • @joroma77 It's the only way to show the Rover from a distance, since there were no additional TV cameras to film it driving. There are enough real pictures from Mars to watch if one wants.

  • i dont appreciate living here, for your ego reasons. such as food. id prefer if you move me likewise. if cool, so be it. let me put it this way..................yes i am. everybody else. but me, okay i will. so, what the hell r u kis me for. what bout my boyriend. okay, sorry. listen.................im dooing allright

  • @TrollMcgee83 Do You know what NASA really is? It's NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) established in 1915, reorganised and renamed NASA (National Aeronautic and Space Agency) in 1959. It's purpose was and is to make research in aeronautic and space technology. How can money be laundered when they do all the experimental flight testing and actually launch all the spacecraft?

You are an unedicated laughing stock.

  • what a shitty little experiment nasa performed. billions of dollars for that supposedly....it fucking landed in the desert obviously and didnt really get much done and the music is cheese balls

  • @janeemarief Your moms Cheese Balls bitch! Lol Fucking cum bucket bag whore looser!

  • @janeemarief It had to land in the desert, since ther is nothing but deserts on Mars! :)

  • @janeemarief thanks for your enlightening and valuable comment...not

  • @mrjacob2004 sounds like that episode of South Park where earth is a reality show made up of millions of other aliens.

  • Let's send the Banksters, and make it a one way trip!!!

  • Isnt that the way it goes.... The middle class foots the bill for exploration of a place they will never get to go unless they go as slaves!

  • @eysofastrnjr The rich pay more tax than the middle class. Not as a proportion, I grant you, but as a total sum by far. And it is total sums that are important when it comes to budgeting. Anyway, science budgets are relatively small and the economic payoff far exceed the cost.

  • Lousy graphics. this still looks totally fake. I dont think they will ever get it right.

  • Its Wall-e's grandfather

  • yay star wars music

  • im so high

  • mars sucks,

  • @mehbooburrehman NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • I always pictured this music accompanying three-legged machines, though....

  • I used this video to my school project :)

  • how could they video tape this if there on that space pod thing

  • @Reaperjohn18 animations

  • When i watch this is like watching Star Wars..

  • i wonder.... you know mount Olympus it appears to be a supper volcano, did anyone give some thought too the possibility that when it erupted all the lava left the core then the vents in the former oceans became drains the result all the water is within the planet.... when we go there we should use geothermal tech to dig down and see. i wonder if yellow stone national park the super volcano there could be are future drain maker, but idk this was just a thought i dont really know what i am talk

  • Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life there.

  • Comment removed

  • @hunadmin1 What makes You think the sky is blue on Mars? Any perticular reason? And then, why is it pink on all the photos from the surface?

  • Comment removed

  • @YDDES Because fake. What did You think.

  • @hunadmin1 I knew You would say so. Any particular reason it should be blue? And any reason all photos should be faked?

  • That would be crazy if martians really existed and we sent this thing there. All they see is a bomb, transform in to a balloon, then transform into a pyramid, and then it transforms into a robot which drives around and anal probes the rocks. If I were a martian, I'd be freaking out.

It just makes you also think that if aliens landed on earth, they'd probably have no clue what to expect either, just like how we don't have a clue about Mars.

  • @vAznNoob

Why did you have to say it would anal probe the rocks?! Rocks don't have anuses! It would just probe the rocks! What's wrong with you?!

  • @TrollMcgee83 from trees? then how come my tv has such a bad signal when i hook it up to the oak in my back yard?

  • Wall-Eeeeeeeee !

  • /watch?v=5um6KqJD9h0 Life on Mars

  • Any martians seeing the rover unravel would think earthlings were weirder than any science fiction they'd ever read.

  • @857frank. Martians have already seen Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" music video and so they already think we're batshit insane.

  • did they find Rumbleroar?

  • See, please, my unpublished NASA image of several 6 point David’s star enlarged from photosatellite from Mars planet. It's near of Cydonia face:

    webspace.webring.com/people/or/ramonetriu/mars-stars.html

  • @TrollMcgee83 "only way to combat the government is to stick your finger up your butt." Yeah, okay you win the great battle with the government. But trolling aside, don't you think the prospect of liquid water on other planets is fantastic? Aren't real events here more interesting and entertaining than just trying to get a rise out of others with silliness? Check out the next great explorer of Mars-- Almost ready to go! watch?v=ZixfG0mrRR0

  • @TrollMcgee83 "Anything you see on TV or books is fake." That's interesting. I've seen nearly all the myths you just repeated in writing and on TV. So therefore according to you, these myths are all fake. Thanks for making that clear!

  • @TrollMcgee83 "We have never been to space or sent anything into space." So the fact that anyone can SEE the ISS and various satellites passing overhead dozens of times every day around the world....???? What is the kick in trolling Mcgee?

  • YAY U GOT IT THERE now how do u get it back -.-

  • wonder if i can get one of those at toys r us?

  • I think mars will be the second planet to habit life , becouse human race will eventualy make it hapends and bring life to that planet . About europe ...thats an awesome concept too , imagine above or underwater citys :D with marine life . What i think is ....europa has been around for sometime ...is it posible for some primitive life to apear and we dont know yet? if thats true ...it would be AMAZING!

  • Man that was cool!

  • If the martian atmosphere is .01 percent that of earth's why does it always look so thick?

Even actual photos from the rovers it looks thicker then what they say it suppose to be.

  • @tonymice "actual photos from the rovers it looks thicker" You cannot 'see' the transparent atmospheric gases--mostly CO2. You are seeing light scattered by very fine dust. Dust varies and can appear deep reddish to even blue! watch?v=BNM7Qcbx The atmosphere is substantial enough (and gravity low enough) to support quite a bit of dust transport--hence a planet of mostly greenish rocks that appears reddish due to a blanket of Fe Oxide dust plus numerous dust devils, planet wide dust storms, etc.

  • amazing we could go to ,ars for one percent of what they want to charge, who runs usa the bad,who let them get away with this

  • Take a moment to look at scienceinmind.webs.com. It is amazing. Shows me more of a new mars landing. Thumbs up for others to see.

  • Take a moment to look at scienceinmind.webs.com. It is amazing. Shows me more of a new mars landing.

  • thumbs up if you said what the at 2:40

  • transformers lol

  • Wonder what happens to the debris that wasn't out of the atmosphere yet? *Seconds later at the Kool Aid Guys House* *Brick Rubble Collapses* "Oh Sheeeeeeit...."

  • But will it blend?

  • WALL-E

  • :O

  • Once it reaches the martian atmosphere, it has to decelerate from over 27000 mph down to just 900 in about 30 seconds using its parachute and atmospheric resistance. It decelerates from 900 down to about 250mph to drop off from it and still has to endure the impact of the fall using the "bubble wrap".

Where did the ideas for the deceleration process come from? A group of kids age 8-14. Just goes to show you what kids are capable of if you let them explore science and apply creativity....

  • that was good

  • That was pretty cool and with the music it was a perfect combination!

  • So many wondrous events have happened over mylifetime.

(and I am not done for yet)

  • usa should of been on mars with humans by the year two thousand , what happened?

  • i think on the entire universe there people leaving just like us driving cars watching tv trying to discover what we are all about

  • The air at plants is 40% carbon dioxide, and -70° F. CO2 the global cooling gas

  • hay was that a elean or a robat never mind thats really a robot

  • 1 word - WOAW.

  • i like the other video which is the same thing without this music

  • I mean, Jupiter has four moons, why he would need so much? take Europa from him, it's just water, and splash it on mars. It will do the affect. :-)

  • Americans! Get rid of the muslim countries, just drop some nukes there and fuck it, use your budget to colonize and terramorf the Mars please

  • Shit!

  • Comment removed

  • If we ever colonize Mars to the point people can move there from earth, one of the rules for being allowed to live there should be: no religion allowed.

Also we should use our resources to keep 100% accurate records of how we came to Mars and how Mars was colonized. Not through stories and metaphors and we should make that mandatory learning in our schools. We've let religion fuck this planet and I'll be fucked if we give it an INCH to fuck up another one.

  • Comment removed

  • @dartter50 his sentiment is a worthy one.

  • @kdum8 my brother's comments.

  • @berner well said brother! I agree!

  • @berner I agree with your religion sentiment but I can't see it happening. It really annoys me when people say that "they don't do science". I say fine, then don't use a computer, the Internet, your car, or your house, or go to the doctor when you get sick, as they are all here because of science. In fact if you get ill, please go ahead and die. Retards. They are "doing" science as much as the rest of us.

  • Animation !!

  • the soundtrack was written 100 years ago

    imagine

  • That was so cool it would be nice to send up two at a time so that each one could film each others departure in reality

  • 28 people are martians

  • worlds biggest question how did life start on earth?

what if we are all martians like the theory that a big asteroid hit mars

what if there was intelligent life that created a rocket and brought life to earth?

    just to many wonders

  • @MrJacob2004 There is a therory to the formation of life on earth called involving the primordial soup theory, check it out

  • synched this to Ayreon - My House on Mars. fits pretty good : )

  • WOW - I AM IMPRESSED - is the sound from Superman film?

  • @LaPieinsky The "sound" you're hearing is called "music", written by a German-influenced English Composer named Gustav Holst. The piece is called "The Planets", and 'Mars' is one of the movements (what you're hearing now).

John Williams is an American composer who wrote the music to Superman (and Star Wars, and Indiana Jones, etc. etc.). HE ripped off composers like Holst, and Wagner, and Dvorjak. He ripped off more music than Lady Gaga did from Madonna when she "wrote" Born This Way".

  • the jets that fell off landed on my new car fuck

  • Im doing a presentation on Sojourner :)It makes me think of star wars

  • Im doing a presentation on Sojourner :)

  • I want to go to mars now.

  • 3:01 Look out the Luke Skywalker! Those are not friendly bouncy balls!

  • i love it when it bounces!

  • Super COOL!!!!!!!!! One word for American scientist and engineer: SALUTE!

One day my country INDONESIA will also have this technology.

  • @gonzo110391 Heil NASA ;)

  • hey all that shit is still out there floating around now we are polluting space

  • @hamjambo100 Pollution is bad because it damages dynamic, LIVING environments. Anyway, space barely even qualifies as an environment at all, by definition it's empty so no damage is being done.

  • reminds me of wall-e

  • Am watching spectacularly beautiful images of the shuttle Endeavour being rolled out to the launch pad while listening to this.

  • lets warp it goes faster then im back at 8 clock

  • Where's the radio sound you those

Ignition.....we have lift-off stuff like that??????

  • WHHAALLEEEEEEE

  • The rover loks like a prehistoric swan...

  • this thing has more gadgets than a bat mobile, bat belt, and a james bond car combined!

  • This combination of musical and engineering genius is good. It. Is. Good.

  • Great Syphony!

  • 2:10 looks like a blabelade

  • Tremendous!

  • Mars is a hostille planet this is a trap !!

  • Someone please spam the below comment.

  • the first time i watched this i shivered at 4:38.

Its a very appropriate time to shiver.

  • they spend 20 million doller on that thing. why they didnt put a nice HD camrea on it ?

  • @youhan1234567 all video needs to be streamed back to earth, hd would take to long as the video would be too large. also this thing is quite old, not sure they had small sized hd recording equipment back then. all of thats just a guess of course.

  • I am russian living in astralia, what mean holst the planet

  • @beneehall Holst is a composer, this is one of his most famous pieces; entitled Mars.

  • @rulz492 thanks you. Mars is war god yes?

  • Extraordinarily well done. Thank you for posting.

  • This would look even better in 3d!

  • chuck norris has been to mars. why do you think that it's red and there are no signs of life there.

  • Funny how NASA needed the idea of school kids for the idea's for Rover... children always see right through the dog's, hehehe!

  • Yeah, me too!

  • Aww this reminds me of Walle

  • This may be the coolest thing I've ever watched!

  • @ClassicsforKids thats what beavis and butt head said

  • This is a very inspiring video if you're a scientist. One of the many reasons why some of us do not leave science.
