Patton owns this song! Mosely never seemed to be in tune and he sounded like he was on smack. Mike changed the band for the better by injecting raw energy into the songs. One of the true rock stars of this generation.
@supernort I appreciate both vocalists the same. When I hear Mosely I think about where he came from, a Calfornia surfer singing in a rock band that sounds cool. Lets not forget the awesome music of the band that also make up Faith No More. The whole band had an extremely 1 of a kind unique sound. I wish this would have spawned a new album either between Patton or Mosley. Look Mosely up on Myspace. Bands still use it for promotions - the site was originally for (works better that way).
Dude... Patton is the man for every FNM song. Even those that he didn't write turn to gold with his input. This version and the Midlife Crisis B-Side version crap all over Chuck Moselys version!
I don't like Patton for this song. Chuck Mosely has the perfect voice for this. I'm not saying Patton sucks, cause he doesn't. I'm just saying there's certain songs in which Patton isn't the right man to sing them.
I understand completely, i saw FNM`s angel dust tour concert in Tasmania Australia, many years ago now, but its still with me, its honestly still the best night out ive had in my life, these guys were good, and from knowing the bands name only at the start, nothing more, to being a total convert to FNM and in particular mike Paton, in one evening, the performance was so good, the show so long, so fullfilling, best memory i have, im in a photo on a `best of` album, it means a lot to me
Lighting bolts on Puffy's bass drum. Beat that Ace Frehley.

Patton looks like a 40 year old man wishing he was 20. And man did he rock when he was 20! Still does, though. Just like a 40 year old man. :)

They changed my life and my whole perspective on all music.
And just a few days, I got the Angel Dust tattooed on me.
