And only underscores how ludicrous it is that Deep Purple is not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Considering some of the bands and artists who are in, maybe this is a good thing...

Although it is easy to think of Deep Purple when we hear this song and think this as a cover, keep in mind that Coverdale wrote this song with Blackmore and others when he was with Deep Purple, so it is as much of his song as it is of Deep Purple. Either way, great performance.
