Ok so the plug-in thingy for my headphone broke off and got stuck inside the headphone plug thingy on my laptop. I tried to take the laptop apart hoping to take it out, but I got stuck and didn't want to mess it up anymore so I just reassembled the parts. How do I get to that part to take the broken piece out? I haven't been able to use my headphones on my laptop for about a year now and I am desperate!
this was posted a long time ago, but you asked, so ill answer, that chip you asked about in part 1, was the WLAN, or your wireless internet, if the computer HAD wireless internet, if not, then it might be a sound card or something.
@deadlycurse45 after unscrewing everything in the back, just take your finger nail, and try to pop out the corners of the keyboard, there will be one thats easier to pop out than the rest, start with that one, and just keep pulling at the top or bottom parts (depending on which corner was easiest to take off) and once all of them are off one one side, just slide it off in the direction of that side. be careful, because there is a cable connecting the keyboard and the computer.
I have a HP pavillion zt1000 and me and my dad are trying to fix the Power moudle. But it has this lock thingy on the back. Can you tell me how to get it off?
hey bro, this is very good. We have the exact same laptop so this was very helpful! but, the reason why i had to open the laptop was becuase it didnt charge! do you know what might have caused that? please reply back, thanks :)
@WorldOfPubic open it up again, and check that u didnt damage the connection from the touchpad to the mother board and make sure its connected properly
