You know this is why I dislike eugenics. Looking through the comments, there still quite a few prejudice people (doesn't only mean whites).

Eugenics caused the holocaust and is a selling point for abortion. That would be like somebody saying that homosexuals are genetically defective. Actually of the colours that occur without something like albinism(red or violet for some people) or aniridia(no iris so black eyes) green is the most rare (followed closely by amber) especially in men. Blue is actually somewhere between the second most common to 3rd most common eye colour and is seen more so in Europe and North America.

It depends on your ethnicity...this study was done for the population that is in the major in the US(Caucasians). So, really it is almost a bias research when it doesn't take into account the other ethnicity groups. Normally, an African-American,Mexican,Asian etc are born with pigmented eyes, though on a rare occasion it can be blue,gray,hazel or green. That is vastly having to do with interracial reproduction. So, yes it is normal for a child to have any color of eye,including brown.
