@taitai907 Power Inverter. You can get those on eBay pretty cheap. Mine was I believe a 200W one. It plugs into your 12V battery and provides 2 outlets.
Linda experiencia, felicitaciones al editor del video, un poco alta la música no dejaba oir bien el sonido ambiente. Así es como se aprende a manejar y tenerle respeto a la arena.
next time you go to the beach get some wider tires or some mud tires, and also when you do get stuck in sand use L4 (4WD) not H4 because it only digs in sand...
Why didn't those dickheads get out of the truck while you were burying yourself deeper? They should have gotten out and pushed your weak ass out of there - those dicktits got out 5 minutes too late...morons
1st. air down tires 2nd. lock the hubs in and put it in 4low 3rd. drig the out out form being bottomed out 4th. drive out slowly but keep revs up but dont floor it. problem solved
excellent adventure... next time get out your jack, cram some driftwood under it so it doesn't sink in the sand, jack up one wheel at a time, put wet / damp sand in the hole while its jacked up then set it back down... you'll also stay up on top of soft dry sand better if you reduce your tire pressure to about 10 psi
my mssus dosent even have a licence was getting frustrated with u foools, y didnt u put it in 5th and floor it till u came out at china? woulda bee quicker
@rid3er4life Get a Jeep? Why? Will it make any difference? I don't understand why ppl say that get this or get that. Doesn't matter what you drive jeep, toyota, nissan or whatever if it's 4x4 doesn't matter what you drive. The clearance and tires are what matters and fcource the main gear between driver seat and the stearing wheel ;)
I drive my damn AWD shopping cart on the beach w/o any problems. Fcource when I was learning, I was stucking, now I NEVER stuck. So stop this "Get bla bla" thing )
It was our first "off-road" experience. We had no knowledge at all. If we got stuck again, by just reading these comment, we would be able to get out fairly easily. Thanks.
I had a 2.4Turbodiesel w/ manual gearbox and it was a really good car, only a bit slow!!! You can also try to give a chrome coat to your original rims, they'll look better and will match the chrome bumpers. I did it , and they were great!!!
man they should have put a diff lock on all 4x4 trucks, cuz it would have helped u a lot more if u did have it. plus, rocking it bak n forwards could have got u out in the beggining, but lucky u guys made it out
seriously fellers?? you made the 4runner look embarresing but i give you credit for digging it out by hand other then the fact of a tow would of been easier!! i owned the same truck and i know its good in sand if only you guys would of went easy throught the sand maybe that mess wouldnt of happened?? but anyways was pretty funny video thanks for the entertainment!!!
Next time lower the tire pressure to about 15 lbs and put it in 4 WD Low and ease it out. You only got stuck because you gunned it with fully aired tires.
Yeah they would have walked right out that if thay had aired down. I run 9 psi rear and 12 front in my xj, bit low but i cary two spares and a compressor and starter fluid
You guys definately made that alot more complicated than it was by burying it, if you would have rocked it back and forth when you just kept trying to go back it would have come out a lot easier
Plus man if its gone your 4runner will sound fucking nice. If you know anything about how "nice" a car can sound then yea. Picture how an old muscle car sounds. It will wound like that. People think you got new exhuast and shit but its stock as hell and nice as hell. I drive down the raod people rubber neck me all the time they think theres a nice 57 chevy near or something ands its just my runner.
I'm tellin you either cut it off or knock the insides out. You will gain alot of power difference. The caddy Converters are like a wall in the exhuast. All a caddy Converter is, is Ceramic brickwrped in steel sheet metal. The ceramic filters the exhuast so its not as pollutant. If you knock it out it pollutes a little more but whou cares?!!? I mean its your truck but this is my sugestion.
Some 4runners came with these one factory alluminum alloy rims. I got them they kindly look like a star or somethin. You could go for the Toyota dealer to get some or ebay. You got steel rimes on that runner. You ask for alluminum alloy rims. Either way you can order rims specially for your vehicle so holes won't really be an issue. Oh and a suggestion. Is your Caddy Converter still in there. If you you either take it off and replace it with steel pipe will gain about 9-10 HP thats a good bit.
you mean the factory catalytic converter? yeah its till there. I wanna get a high flow one to make it street legal since its practically non-existent. Its deteriorated
Im saving for those,. Have any suggestions on brands? The thing is, it needs to be a 6-hole rim. Most cars have 5 bolts holding each wheel, while the 4Runner has 6.
hehe thanks for the tips, although we kindda knew everything you mentioned already, except for the tire pressure one, which we found out when we got stuck. I know I shouldn't had keep keep running, but it was burring herself in the back, so I had little idea while being in the front. Obviously, the next time I accelerate and the car doesn't moves, I'm not gonna keep spinning the wheels XD. Oh I washed her like crazy, but I still got a lil rust on the rims. Thanks!!
Very entertaining video! Looks like you had a fun trip! Next time air your tires down to 10-15psi before you hit the sand. I've pulled a few stuck 4WD off the beach and it's usually because they don't air down.
Yeah the guy that helped us told us that. The thign is I had to "guess" the tire pressure. nevertheless, we never got to air her tires down. But thanks for the tip!!

Another tip: It looked like you were digging out the whole truck. Just dig out 4 paths for the wheels to roll out. That should be enough.
Great car btw. I bought a '91 last week :) 4Runners rule.
famzwart 3 years ago
Spinning tires just digs you deeper.
Let Some Air out of the tires.
Engage 4X4 and 4L.
Rock the vehicle back and forth (forward, brake, reverse, brake).
If you get going, don't stop till your on good ground.
If your loosing momentum, instead of flooring it an loosing all your traction, pump the accelerator.

Jay351 3 years ago
u obviously dont know how to go off roading if u just keep the wheels spinning ur just gonna get deeper in the sand
n u should let some air out of the tyres before u go on the sand so theres a greater surface area

#1 Need new or bigger tires on it man.
#2 If that ever happens again don't gun it in the sand slowly drive it you burry yourslef gunning it.
#3 Also you can get someone or someone(s) to hop up and downm on the back bumper. It helps grip more.
#4 lower Tire Pressure as well. Helps put weight down more on the tires thus grip.
#5 i hope you remebered to wash it when you got home. If not your in for the worst rust of your life.
