Louisianas National Guard was the one saving people at the beginning with the local Coast Guard. There efforts could only go so far because they had tons of people dieing in the streets because there was no medicine and necessities were scarce due to a VIOLENT HURRICANE ripping through there city. I could care less if McCain or Bush toured the area during, right after or ever. Their jobs were to allocated sufficient funding and other resoureces to handle the problems and delegate responsibilities to coordinate the efforts. Photo Ops in the muddy aftermath don't comfort anyone. Politicians of all breeds do this and it is repulsive to me. But of course we all know they were helped and were better off in the Superdome tahan in their wretched homes. Just ask the beautiful mind of Bush's mom.

Well that is besides the point. First off no matter what John McCain or Bush could have done is irrelevant here, all that matters is the effort McCain spoke of, which he failed to back. Regardless Bush can do more if he wasn't a birthday party during a massive environmental catastrophe. You do realize that Bush is technically the head of FEMA, and all federal organizations, that was ridiculed of doing too little. He can always do more than nothing absolutely nothing.
