2 precious add-ons for this bike are higher windscreen (almost eliminates the wind completely) and heated grips (if living in a cold place of course :). The center stand is also useful not only for standing the bike but also to protect the cat when it hits obstacles (and this happens more easily than one might think)

by the way, the suspension felt way too hard when I got it but it took 4 minutes for technicians to adjust it and now it's much more comfy than it was.

I owned this bike for a year and the only complaints I have are:

The lack of 6th gear; and the fact that the bike has a lousy autonomy (around 240 /250 max km) I've been getting a fuel consumption of around 19 km/L (5.25 L/100Km) on several tanks (w empty topcase, high screen and bars though) but with an extremely relaxed riding style so not only could the tank be bigger but it could spend less. I dunno if it's down to the engine being low tech?, or V-shaped, or if it's the bike's weight...

Bring it to America and I will buy it. For now I will have to settle for a Versys. Cmon HONDA get your act together and sell the States this bike!!! The Vstrom and the Versys are selling like hotcakes. The XR650L just don't cut it.

O video esta muito bonito mas a mota como trail perdeu bastante a roda a frente deixou de ser 21 o ABS não dá para desligar enfim só erros.

Dear Honda, here`s my Christmas list... give me back my big front weel, give me back my tougher front suspension, give me back my bigger body, give me back my bigger tank (make it bigger even), give me back my adventurous looks and specs, and give me a proper 750-800cc engine, not Deauville-like, more Africa Twin-like. and i`ll be happy to be, again, Transalp.
