I'm glad you enjoyed the show! I believe there are butterflies (and other insects as well) in every color of the rainbow - especially in the tropics where amazing colors and designs seem to run wild :-)
I took all of the pictures myself. Some were taken of specimens in the collection at the L.A. County museum of Natural History, others I shot out in the wilderness, and some I even raised myself. There are many photos of my butterfly and moth rearing projects on my website. :-)
Thanks for the great comment! When you get a minute, drop by my website (the Technician Music page on JCMDIdotCOM - you can download this song ("Bio") and many others I have scattered around the internet. The links to download places are on the album pages (some may no longer work but I think most still do). Enjoy!

kenneththorpe. why cant you be nice..how in the world a little butterfly gonna make you cry they are harmless it aint like a bee they dont sting you...dont give butterflys a bad repetition.they already have a problem with birds eating them
Its the little things in Nature that make me Cry. I am a Painter and i am currently Painting a Butterfly. We often forget there is a whole world out there we often miss. No they don't scare me i love them.

Chances are good it was a butterfly or moth caterpillar, some of which can have very toxic spines. Deaths have been reported in rare cases. Sad story in any case.
butterflies are amazing each one beautifully and wonderfully made! that cant be evolution uh no way that has to be God those colors cant evolve or pop out of big bang chemicalls theres a creator with a wonderful creation and that creator is God.
Yes, funny how most bugs are hated, but when you stick some pretty wings on them, suddenly they're our friends! Just like Bart Simpson once said said "No one ever suspects.. the BUTTERFLY.. Muhahaha!" XD Thanks for the view and comment. :D
