  • Thanks for checking it out :-)

  • it 's so nice. can you show me the way to download

  • You can usually grab the videos out of your "Temporary Internet Files" folder once the entire video is loaded. Sort the directory by size, and look for filenames like "getvideo[1]" and such. The HQ ones may be listed as .MP4 file while the ones with noe extension are .FLV. :-)

  • this is beautiful

  • Thanks, Jen! I've got a new version of this one on the drawing board if I ever get time to finish it! Might be really nice in HD :-)

  • wow great anytime u got some like this email them too me . I really enjoyed it ! xox jeni

  • my friend just DIED from getting bit by a butterfly in costa rica...:( click my name and check my tribute video..... R.I.P Shaun!!!

  • butterflies dont bite

  • Chances are good it was a butterfly or moth caterpillar, some of which can have very toxic spines. Deaths have been reported in rare cases. Sad story in any case.

  • i love that video

  • Glad you enjoyed thanks for watching/commenting :-)

  • butterflies are amazing each one beautifully and wonderfully made! that cant be evolution uh no way that has to be God those colors cant evolve or pop out of big bang chemicalls theres a creator with a wonderful creation and that creator is God.

  • They are pretty spectacular! ...and there are over 600,000 known species of butterflies and moths. Wow. :D

  • ahh butterflies, the noble insect(like noble beast with horse). one the animals we don't hate and welcome among us.

  • Yes, funny how most bugs are hated, but when you stick some pretty wings on them, suddenly they're our friends! Just like Bart Simpson once said said "No one ever suspects.. the BUTTERFLY.. Muhahaha!" XD Thanks for the view and comment. :D

  • g8..lol

  • I love Butterflies they are such beautiful works of art from G-d.

  • Glad you liked - thanks for watching :D

  • why did u put G-d put God there is no shame to his name.

  • Oh and thanks for giving me the songs names! thats really nice of you!

  • Many of my songs can be downloaded from my website or from links on the Technician page there, if there are some you like. Enjoy!

  • Do you know what the green Butterflies name is? Cuz Its really pretty!

  • The green Swallowtail at 1:08 is Papilio peranthus, and the other one at 1:28 is papilio lorquinianus. I photographed both of those at the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. :D

  • Thanks, When I try to get a nice slideshow of Butterflies people always put a nasty rock song behind it.But with this I hear nice music. So thank you for making this and posting it up!

  • Hahahah yea - people have funny ideas about mixing music with visuals sometimes. Have you seen any of my butterfly life cycle documentaries? I wrote all the music for those too and the "Rise of the Purple Hairstreaks" video has some of my better stuff. The butterflies emerging at the last half are pretty spectacular, if you like shiny metallic blue and green colors. Cheers!:-)

  • Thees are so cute I am a scientist of butterflies. They are quite cute creatures that God made.

  • Wonderful video..nice collection of butterflys

  • Thanks! ...and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment :D

  • Thanks for your comments. Love these videos of your moths, caterpillars, and butterflies! Great job. You must raise some of them (caught on finger) but others look like collections. I give you top rating and great photography.

  • Yes I've been a big game bug hunter for a long time. Mostly collecting in my early years but now more rearing and documentary than anything. Glad you're enjoying them and thanks for the kind words :D

  • I love this video the music and montage just does it for me and has given me a passion for butterflies and Moths although I know very little about the subject ! I will learn thank you , I hope you don't mind I've responded with another video I did some of the pictures are the same but a different look at things .

  • Glad I could provide you some inspiration. Your response is of course welcome! Thanks for watching, and the nice comment :D

  • A fine job thanks "Brilliant".

  • Thanks for your support, Molly! :D :D

  • i dont care any of them they all were cool

  • At 1:07 Papilio peranthus, and at 1:29 Papilio lorquinianus. Those were the "good" ones! :-)

  • whats the black and green one called?

  • There were like 3 of them - a what time did the one you want appear?

  • Ohhhhhhhhhh pretty butterflies! Love it!

  • Thanks for watching :D

  • Wonderful! There is a butterfly farm near where I live (stratford on Avon u.k) and the butterflies settle on you! Fantastic kx

  • It's funny that in all the years I've been studying and rearing Leps, I've never been to a butterfly farm or even an indoor butterfly aviary! Definitely on my list of things to do! Thanks for watching/commenting :D

  • these butterflys are gorgeous :p

  • I agree - and this collection barely scratches the surface.. there are many thousands of different kinds! :D

  • I agree - live nature photography is quite a challenge - much harder than swinging a net! Some of those mounted butterflies (like the one at 1:28) were photographed in the L.A. Natural History Museum's tropical butterfly collection. Lots of amazing bugs to see there. I wish we had more stuff like that in the US. Thanks for watching! :D

  • It's not easy to photograph butterflies when they are flying around so the living butterflies are my favorites. Also 1:28 was so intense and deep in color.

  • Beautiful! 5*****

  • Thanks for watching and rating! :D

  • Muy bonito.

  • The Internet link [lepidoptera] wont work because there is a full stop at the very end of the address. Perhaps if you placed the link in a line of its own (without a full stop at the end)!

This is a well-crafted video and the music is excellent. Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for the nice comment and pointing out the defective link. It's corrected now. I don't know why it included the "." at the end as part of the link, but getting rid of it altogether fixed it! :D

    Cheers!

  • thank you, this made me very happy

  • Excellent! Thank you.
