@Micasmu you can only save it in user A, B, C, or D so what you do is you go to A whatever number you want and you put in the settings you want, when you did that hold the A button til all buttons flash, then you can name is and you click A again and it wil be saved

It doesnt matter what preset you start it on, by going to the metal amp model it resets all the parameters....

@seanannersrulez4l1f3 This is a really old vid, so old that I forgot my password to this account and never could be bothered getting a new one hence why I'm replying with this account. It's a great amp, I've still got it after all these years, not had another amp since.. it's all I need and it has not had ANY problems at all. I strongly recommend it, I'll keep it forever. I'm buying a Half-stack soon though but i'll still use the Line 6.

@seanannersrulez4l1f3 Yeah this over a Vypyr anyday.. if you can get one of these in good enough condition go for it. However, the Spider IV's are pretty awesome too.

@seanannersrulez4l1f3 Hate it in a year? I've had mine for nearly 3 and I have not yet felt any hate towards her, I have the money to go out there and buy the best and newest amps, but I honestly don't feel the need to yet. Soon I'm going to need a half-stack due to gigs etc but this amp will always be used as my practise amp, no need to swap it for something else. as for Hughes&Kettner, they are overpriced, Spider III is cheaper and better in my honest opinion.

@seanannersrulez4l1f3 Yeah they're awesome too, I'd personally go for the Spider III though.. I recommend you try the Spider IV before you buy it, which should help your decision.

Spider 3.....i have a love/hate relationship with mine. It's not my dream tone of course lol. But I don't have 2000$ to spend on a tube amp and all that shit right now. You can get a really sweet blues tone out of the spider 3 though. I'll have to try this metal setting of yours.

Best metal sound?

If you turn the mids all the way down, the tone will be so empty.

And at high volumes it will sound very harsh. And if you keep the channel volume at about 7 then at high volumes it will help the feedback issue.

Can you tell me if this amp's good for Extreme Metal like Opeth, Messhugah, Cannibal Corpse, COB and Dark Tranquillity for example?

@melodea7h TIP: Get the 75 watt version because the 15 and 30watt versions don't have presets and that means you wont get no where near as many sounds.

Yeah it is, definatly. I got it for £200 GBP, money well spent. There is a preset for Enter Sandman, but your way sounds awesome for it too. I will try this lol. Great vid
