  • The Best!!! Thank you!

  • Basic Banal Boring Bland Bloke

  • This is a very slow method. There are faster ways to let go of negative emotional charges connected to certain thoughts, actions, etc.

  • @humanyoda And that would eliminate the need for sabotaging oneself.

  • In English, plurality isn't conveyed by using an apostrophe and letter s. Hence, you should write DVDs, not DVD's.

  • there are titys on the ice :D

  • I actually do this thing ( imagine) for years before i even see this vid and it works, i imagine myself as a courage person and it works actually, i can take down 20 people in a fight..i can even take down chuck norris......well, not chuck norris.

  • This reminds me of the Japanese animation paprika. It came on a Dvd..

  • Darryl, I love your videos! You give excellent value! I am currently working on discovering my limiting beliefs so that I can change my programming. Is there a set of questions or techniques that you have or know of to help with discovering limiting beliefs? I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks!!

  • @meldbaggs Hi, thanks for your comments. In terms of a set of questions re limiting beliefs, I have put together a self-confidence diagnostic on my website DrDarryl.com and on the home page, scroll down to the heading of "Personal & Life Coach" and to the right of that is the Diagnostic. Hope that helps, Darryl

  • Doctor, i find myself to hear very bad things always imagine my children in bad positions or me or family i can not imagine how dark..And i don't think them specially i find myself these ideas coming. :(

  • @exporthelper Hi, Sadly, this is not unusual for some people who always see or look for the negative. When they do, their imagination takes over and they imagine the worst. The skill is in being able to stop these thoughts in the first place. See my book at howtostopselfsabotage . com

    Best wishes, Darryl

  • Getting motivated.

  • i throughly enjoy listening to you, your explanations are so simple to comprehend and extremly effective.

    Thnx Darryl :0)

  • question: What about the body?

The DVD is recorded in the body also not just the mind.

If the body is not cleared, then the problem will just come back.

The trigger that turns on the DVD as you put it, is often

hyper-arousal of the limbic system where the frontal lobes

    are off line.

  • Nicely explained. Thanks ., and will update you how it works for ME!

    Nagesh

  • @nagchirr

Hi Nagesh, I would certainly welcome any feedback on how it might work for you. As the saying goes, "Feedback is the breakfast of champions."

  • The advice was good and interesting - but you must filter your mic please; the sharp intake of breath and smacking/tsking before you speak is really distracting!

  • he will get around to it.

  • Bravo Dr. Cross!

You have explained this profound topic in a very communicative way. I love the analogy of reprogramming our DVDs - our DIVINE DVDs. I know it could be done through prayers (or other form of devotions) for those who are more comfortable with religious approaches. Look forward to other postings.

  • I thank you for this. as a christian i am learn more of be aware as a believe what i am and, growing with more depth.

  • Thanks for your comment. God has a way of laying down good DVDs for you! He can re-work & re-program your DVDs!

    Darryl

  • as a christian= as a fool

  • @onesportwonder24

G-d loves you, Jesus wants to show you how much.

  • Hi, Thanks for your comments.

Don't give in to your natural impulses to eat. Instead, do what is "un-natural" and do the opposite of what you'd normally do (ie., eat).

You don't have to FEEL like you want to change, you just have to DO it. Give yourself a 10-day trial doing what you don't what to do (ie. eating). Just try it. What have you got to lose?

    Best regards, Darryl

  • Hi. I have a question: I don't really understand how to reprogram my DVD

  • Hi Dr Cross, just want to say great vid's i wish i lived in the same town as you because i would pay anything to have a session from you.

I was wondering if you could give advice,

i have yo yo dieted for years everytime i diet i get 4 weeks in and start really succeeding then give up, i get so scared and frustrated. also i have always wanted to own a business and be succesful but i think i can't do it because i look really young for my age and people never take me seriously, help pease

  • When writing a new "DVD" the way you describe, aren't you just putting a glossy layer over stuff that still has emotional "stuff" attached to it?

I would have thought that coming to terms with and realising the old beliefs were no longer valid was also necessary.

  • Hi and thanks for your comment. Apologies that it took this long to reply. You are quite correct in saying that it's important to recognise that the old "beliefs" are "no longer valid". That's the first step in anyone wishing to change. Implicit in wanting to program new DVDs though, is the belief that the old DVDs are not serving you well or no longer being effective. Reprogamming in the way I've described is one step -- there's also your inner self-talk too which is another key to change.
