@Catherineprincess1 It's not an episode. It's in the original pilot episode which was a prototype for Sonic X. In it the main characters were just Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, and Shadow (Chris and Cosmo weren't thought up till much later.)

4Kids uploading the original JP dub. Huh. Well, one think I really like about the JP version of super sonic is how calm he is. The way he talks is so calm, cool, collected, and almost enlightened. The melodramatic music coincides with it very well. This is probably one of the best episodes of this series.

Granted, that's not really saying too much, but it's still pretty good.

It's not uncommon for Japanese companies to send out modified versions of their show's footage, especially the title cards. It's becoming less common nowadays, but often the Japanese companies will send out footage of the title cards without text in them so that if dubbing companies want to keep the background but replace the Japanese text with English text, they can do that more easily.
