@SilviaSlider93 Nice observation. The redline was 7500rpm from 7000 earlier but, more importantly, we changed to the 2007 gearbox which has lonnnnnger 3rd-4th gear ratio.

@badkarma04 "Turn the MBC up." Then the video has the caption that helps you: Manual Boost Controller. The tuner didn't own the car or install the MBC. I think he was being gracious.

@mbdulka I wanted a different ride. We were able to part out the expensive components and replace them with stock. We made more money selling the car as stock, and hi-perf parts separate.

I'm driving a twin turbo Infiniti G37sport as a replacement. Nice. :)

@FloridaEvoXTuner WRX gearbox = weak, STI Gearbox = STRONG. Big difference. What limit? depends on how hard you push it. If you never went to the drag strip they will both handle 500+hp. Some do that on the strip.

What was the final boost level (with that new full turn) on the last run? And did you buy that hood scoop with the holes in the back, or is that custom? I gotta do that too (let the heat out) ...

@mbdulka: Not sure. Probably around 27lbs. That turn raises the boost about 3 lbs.

I did the reverse hood scoop modification myself. I blocked the inlet 90%, and It flows out at speed, allowing the TMIC more flow?. It also lets out a TON of heat at stoplights. Thanks for noticing. :)

@SharpByCoop Sweet. I am doing a build right now that should be similar to yours (but I will have a E85 map too -- I am a E85 whore). have you had any cam issues with the AEM? As for the scoop -- have any instructions on how to do that yourself? I'm gonna have to do that ;-)

@mbdulka - My tuner worked out any cam issues if there were any. The care is SO docile under 2000 RPM, and an animal up above 5. Early boost too. It's really the best of all worlds.
