I have listened to you sing this particular song a few times and I like it quiet a lot. Well done you should be proud of yourself Chris. Best wishes your way now and way into the future.
nice song, should sound even better with a bassline and drums-track or percussion, maybe add an electric guitar and keyboard. nice to get to know you out here on YT, cheers Ron
Thanks for the feedback! I miss the extras, as well -- I'm used to playing it in concert with my friends who play electric, bass, and drums. I never used keyboard, though. Interesting idea...
This song will be on the new MoU album on fusco-moore. com soon; I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think.
Are you lyrics first and then tune, vice versa, or a combo of both? I find myself writing lyrics first which is, admittedly, not the best way to work but I need a core idea before I can even being to figure out what key/chords, y'know?
Anyway, really impressive work here! As much as I dig you, Jim, and Jeff's cover work, it's "original wednesday" I look forward to most!
I used to be lyrics first then music, but as I've gotten more comfortable on the guitar, it tends to be a combo of the two. It's usually a line in my head and I work it out on guitar and write from there...
I can't tell you how cool it is to hear that you look forward to "Original Wednesday" -- that really makes my day! (If you're interested, you should check out fusco-moore. com for more music by Jim, Jeff, and I... :-)
i like, keep up the good work :)
