I totally agree their new stuff doesn't suck. It's different but that's what makes a good band.They mangaed to do where most bands fail at which is getting big without selling out or losing their orignal fanbase.

The good 'ol days. Sing the Sorrow is an awesome album. Decemberunderground is pretty weak. I guess I can't judge it too harshly since I don't own it, but I'm not crazy about what I heard. AFI is not now, nor were they ever an emo band. People have no idea what emo is (or was) anymore since it's been affiliated with hot topic imagery. And how about fuck kids who can't use the correct form of "they're" or call other kids "faggots" as if it were something to be offended by? Fall Children, Forever!

Just watched this and the live version off 'I Heard a Voice' - have you noticed how everyone in the audiance sings along here but not one of the 12 year old little girls at the other concert knows the words? Really wish AFI would go back to playing good music again, I've had enough of that mainstream emo shit.
