I just loved the book. I've read it three times.

It's been revealed now that the fourth book will be called Empire and will have a green dragon on the cover. But I don't know the release date... I heard maybe August of this year, but I don't know. -shrug-

@Tatanyablue Nah, I've been watching reviews and Paolini said that fans can figure out the title of the fourth book themselves if they really put their mind to it (I also found out that I was wrong about the title and cover. It could be Shruiken on the cover for all we know :P). He said that the name will be something Eragon inherits. If Eragon were to rescue the Eldunari, he'd rescue them, not inherit them, y'know?

First of all, I appreciate your view of the dragons :). One of my biggest problems with the movie version was that I felt they tried to make Saphira subsurvient to Eragon ("I'm the rider and I say we go!" and all that). Whereas in the books, they are equal partners.

Anyhow, I was thinking more along the lines of Eragon inheriting the responsibility, or the stewardship, of the Eldunari, protecting them from people like Galbatorix.

But that's true... didn't think of it that way. But wouldn't that title give a spoiler? We don't know that Eragon will save the Eldunari, but if that were the title it might spoil it.

The entire Inheritance series was mapped out since he started Eragon, so he's had a basic idea all along. I doubt it will come quickly, though. Probably another few years. :(

His thesaurus riddled purple prose is just pretty ridiculous, and the plot and characters lack any form of originality. When Eragon came out, yes it was good writing for his age, but that didn't mean it deserved to be published, let alone get the sales it did.
