What a gift to have a voice like that and to be fronting such an incredible band. And an amazing story to boot!
He is not Steve Perry. He is Arnel Pineda. If you look for more videos, you will see that he kills almost every song he sings from Bon Jovi to The Doors. Hopefully, the new Journey band can help his career instead of Arnel just doing old Journey songs to bring in paychecks.

What's haunting is Neal Shons relentless, lifelong mission to attempt and dig into Steve's head and prove some kind selfless point. The Hater Deal is getting old. Steve is ultimately the creative genius and voice behind all of the hits to this day. If Schon had his creative way, no ballads would have ever been released by Journey period. How he got to spend any time with Ava F. is beyond me.

You guys are a kick! I saw Journey in 1976, at "Day on the Green". The band started with Neal Schon, and Gregg Rolie (Santana). Ross Valory, and Ansley Dunbar. That was Journey. There were a lot of people that didn't like Steve Perry joining the group, and changing the style. Time goes on. Steve Perry was an incredible singer, but his attitude is what kills the spirit of the band. Arnel is a class act, an excellent singer; and an incredible humanitarian. Journey is a GROUP, not an individual.

You guys are a kick! I saw Journey in 1976, at "Day on the Green". The band started with Neal Schon, and Gregg Rolie (Santana). Ross Valory, and Ansley Dunbar. That was Journey. There were a lot of people that didn't like Steve Perry joining the group, and changing the style. Time goes on. Steve Perry was an incredible singer, but his attitude is what kills the spirit of the band. Arnel is a class act, an excellent singer; and an incredible humanitarian. Journey is a GROUP, not an individual.
