Geweldige groep!! Ik was 18 jaar toen..en gek van Earth and Fire. Nu ik het weer hoor klinkt het me nog heerlijk in de oren..wat was dit voor die tijd al goed!!!

There are many bands, but from the era of Earth & Fire I can mention Brainbox (fantastic version of Summertime), Focus (you may know Hocuspocus), of course the Golden Earring, Shocking Blue (I mention it because of their hit Venus), of course our own polderbluesband Cuby & The Blizzards (cover versions but also a number of real good Blues originals), Livin' Blues, Alquin, Solution, I have to stop otherwise I become nostalgic.....

I've only heard the original album version of this song but this live version is excellent -- very powerful indeed. E&F were one of the first groups I discovered when I got back into prog rock after a lot of years away from it. Great memories and great music.

soms vergeet je dat er muzikale hoogtepunten waren in het verleden..zoals de concerten van Earth Fire.. met een ouwetands mercedesbusje gingen ze avond aan avond van puttershoek naar denekamp..geen airplane zoals Led zeppelin of een Genesis.. maar qua muziek waren ze veeeeel beter!!

jammer voor hun geen doorbraak ...alleen wereldberoemd in het kikkerlandje aan de noordzee.. ik heb van hun muziek zoveel genoten ,dat ik ben gestopt met roken!!

Propably the best song ever written bij a Dutch band. And no that's not Ton Scherpenzeel but one of the Koerts twins who started this band Earth & Fire. The whole albums is magnificent and the made more masterpieces like the album Atlantis.

They had over 15 hitsingles in the Netherlands thru the seventies and begin eigties. The leadsinger Jerney Kaagman became later the chairman (woman) if the Dutch Union for Artists. She was a sex-symbol for many boy and she posed for Playboy.
