I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, just wanna give you a helpful tip. If you wanna make it somewhere with this project, you are gonna have to be a little more innovative. This solo and the riff after it were pretty generic imo, and I feel like I have heard this song before. It is pretty much standard melodeath, I've heard it a thousand times. Your playing is great, but I suggest you try to be more creative, rather than basing your style on the bands you listen to.

Thanks for the comment. I've actually moved away from this style recently, maybe a little thrashier but a lot proggier with some ambient/electronic elements. Not got much time to write just now because I'm busy with uni and I've got a lot of stuff lined up over the summer but I'll hopefully have new stuff written and recorded before the end of the year.
