Gosh!, the cat is prepared for the "Worst Case Scenario ! or the Cat is a good Risk Manager !", the cat never showed its tail to the dobber even though he is playful, or may be the dobber is waiting for the "Most Likely" scenario for a good dinner!
He has always been very gentle with small animals. Large dogs down to a baby chick, he just wants to play! until the cat grabbed him by the neck, then he grabbed the cat and held it on the ground. He never hurt it just made it submit to him. From then on they weren't friends anymore. : (

She had her leg amputated, but she loves everything and appreciates everyday of her life, even though she's an old lady now :D And 2 legs can't beat 4, human hands can only kill few small animals, but if you curl up, they will probably leave.
It depends on the breeding of the Doberman. They take a lot of work and responsibility. A lot of insurance companies won't insure your home if you have a Doberman because they are very protective. I don't let mine out of my sight if we are outside and he can't be around little kids because he is a little too aggressive. Otherwise he is a wonderful dog, but you must be very very responsible.

@sara9896 He's right it depends on the breeding but insurance companies will give you a tax write off if you have a doberman because they're considered a home security system if your going to get a doberman i would sugest a female and they can range from $400- $1500 depending on the breeding but don't buy a doberman unless you plan on cropping the ears, Most people will argue and say that it's cruelty to crop them but it causes ear infections that are more painful and it's easier for an attacker
