If these poor bastards just knew that they are fighting against themselves. They have swallowed what Fox and the Corperations are dishing out, and they are only hurting themselves. Theres a reason the teabaggers are unintellegent: they are the ones dumb enough to buy what Glenn Beck says.
Where the fuck are you now asspuppet? cuz that Obamanation you support didn't change anything you stupid bastard!! he has all of Bush's policies or haven't you been paying attention, too busy spending the free money you get every month?
You're funny when you're angry. You completely cowered away from the question.
Bad guess though, like most people that voted to get rid of that warmongering trainwreck of a president and those who support his policies, I actually get no free money.
Ironically, it's usually the underemployed that usually vote ultra conservative, because the Republican party plays off their untargeted anger and focuses it on things that are counter to their best interests. Like healthcare, for example.
Get a fucking helmet asshat!! and answer the question, what did Obamageddon "CHANGE"?????, but you wont answer that because the only thing that did, is the change that piece of human excrement left in our pockets!!! you need a boot in the ass you clown!
A little off topic, but what's with your weird obsession with people's asses and feces? Every post I see from you involves talking about people's anuses and sticking things in them. You're kind of a creep.
LMFAO!!! Nice try, when you gonna tell us what has "CHANGED" with that Obamanation you voted for?? assclown!!! re: to off topic- just trying to put it into words that you alternative lifestyle challenged sissy's can understand, I didn't realize it was getting you all hot and bothered Suzy.
Hum now I can say to them what they have been saying to me for the eight years of Bush.... If you don't like the Country then get the fuck out! Oh yeah, that's right, most civilized countries have free health care and everything you hate.. sucks to be you!
It's funny these fat conservative fucks compare themselves to the brave Americans who took part in the Boston Tea Party. Those Americans fought for no taxation WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, where as these stupid hicks want NO TAXATION PERIOD. Well, sure, let's get rid of tax, but in the process, see how badly these rednecks miss their tax-paid emergency services, medical insurance, etc.

What govt has taken over lately: The domestic auto industry The banking industry The mortgage industry What the govt is threatening to take over: The health insurance industry The health care industry The credit card industry Lost freedoms: The USA PATRIOT Act violates the 4th amendment The Military Commissions Act violates habeas corpus McCain Feingold violates the freedom of political speech Eminent Domain violates property rights DOMA violates the rights of gays and lesbians to marry...

OK, you are right. The feds only own 60% of GM. That is controlling interest, but GM is only half of the domestic auto industry.
I think the degree to which the feds have asserted authority implies that they think they can do anything. For instance, overriding prior employment contracts, as they are doing in the financial services and banking sectors implies that they will micromanage any policy in these industries.
I think it is chilling, and all you have to do is project the trend out...
Actually, gov't has only taken over 1 of those. And in fact, it's just GM, although I'm not proud of that either. Since when was banking nationalized? the fuck you talking about? All we've been doing is increasing regulation a little and doing TARP. Again, not that I"m a fan, but please be objectie and tell the truth. Don't lie for an agenda. You know what you're saying is pure crap about "gov't takeovers."
Gov't is NOT threatening to take over health insurance or credit cards. bs
The "public option" which is being voted on on Saturday, is an attempt to take over the health ins industry.
Credit cards are no longer private. Via the USA PATRIOT Act, your credit card records may be viewed by the govt without a warrant.
And now the govt is regulating the rates that credit card cos can charge. The govt regulates other credit card policies as well. It presumes to change any part of the credit card agreement.
If not a total takeover, it is moving in that direction.
freesk8, nice list you have put together. If you do like our government so much you could always move to a country that has a government that is more to your liking.
Hm, I thought only conservatives said that kind of thing:
"America, love it or leave it..."
It's a really silly argument, actually. When things are going your way, you ask others who disagree with you to leave, but when things are not going your way, you protest or work to change the system...
Well I think I'll stay in the land of my birth and try to change it for the better thank you very much.
But I hope you will feel free to stay here if you like.
freesk8-I believe your anger is woefully misdirected. The problem is not the money spent to save businesses which became to big to fail. The actual problem is the nearly 30 years of Reaganomics which allowed for companies become to big to fail, which allowed our jobs be sent to overseas and which allowed corporations to pay virtually no taxes at all.
Join us. Demand anti-trust laws be enforced, restoration of trade barriers and regulated banks, so we don't need to bailout companies.
All the companies that were about to fail should have simply been allowed to go bankrupt. The pieces would have been purchased by the solvent corps and no bailouts were necessary. There was never any need to bail them out in the first place. The govt wanted us to be afraid so that they could pay off special interest groups/corps, or gain control over other powerful corps.
It's not deregulation that caused the problem. We've had little real deregulation. It's too much govt power.
freesk8-And allowing for bankrupt companies to be purchased by solvent companies would have solved the problem how? The fate of Hummer is a prime example. Today the factory is being boxed up and placed on ships to China.
Is this kind of country you want? A broken middle class with few jobs and a powerful ruiling elite who doesn't give a shit about you?
Join us. Let's enforce anti-trust laws, end trade acts that benefit only a few and stop banks from acting like a Las Vegas Casino.
It would have prevented taxpayers from paying for the mistakes of mangers and investors. It would have prevented corrupt politicians from paying off special interests. It would have allowed the free market to work.
Free trade, including having Hummers made in China, creates more jobs on both sides of borders. See "Ricardo's theory of comparative advantage."
The elite is broken down by fair competition. The elite maintains itself by corrupting govt.

Wait, I've got more:
Federal marijuana criminalization violates our rights to self-medicate
Drug asset forfeit laws violate our right to property
Legal tender laws violate our right to create private currency
A civil (or military) draft (as Obama and Rahm Emanuel) would violate our right to liberty
Creating a national ID card would violate our right to privacy
There are proposals to subsidize print media which would tend to put them under the control of the govt
Tell me if you want more.
