They broke up because Five Iron Frenzy had come to an end. The way bands work for the people like us that are actually in them is a little strange - it's sorta like a book. A band has a definite beginning and end, but it's up to the musicians to recognize it. FIF had run it's course - I'd dare to say it was probably no longer satisfying like it used to be. When music starts to become a chore more than a joy, then you call it quits on good terms. I miss FIF, but they made the right choice I think

Most all of the songs this band does tells a singular space-themed story. The crew of the USS Gloria get caught in the orbit of Saturn's largest moon, Titan. However, they are able to escape the orbit and not die. This song is about that.

It's all actually a giant metaphor for feeling alone and cut off from God. There are too many to name, or even catch for that matter, but the biggest ones are:
