@aviationman212 No. You have to be fighter qualified to get fighters. You need to do certain things like the 7.5 G centrifuge profile...and complete T-38 training to be fighter qual'ed.

The point of these videos is to highlight those facets of " the life" one would find enviable by others. T-1 track videos focus on places and activities accomplished above and beyond the act of flying, whereas T-38 dudes focus exclusively on highlighting the act of flying a sonic afterburning trainer and tactical formation flying. I can't help but think that trend can't be very complimentary to T-1 flying. If I wanted Texas BBQ that bad, i can just go on delta.com. What's enviable about that?

i want to be a fighter pilot when im older. just wondering what kind of grades did you make in high school? i make a's and b's but some one told me all a's can only get you there. is that true?

its got nothing to do with high school man. i don't know which way you're planning on going, but i'm in rotc and there it is a lot about your grades. you have to compete with your peers for a pilot slot, and college gpa is a big deal. your commander's ranking of you is the largest percentage, but he's gonna look at your grades anyways. just work hard in college.

Study aeronautics. But fighter pilots are all military trained. Apply to a military academy or join ROTC in college. Flight is one of the most desired and therefore one of the most competitive fields. If you're serious about doing it good luck.

anything you want. If you are only interested in aviation degees search for schools that have aviation; like aviation management....etc.

Take your math courses seriously. Go to college and get into a good aeronautical program. Or a better way (in my opinion) apply for the Naval academy. As long as you pass the flight physical and aptitude test you'll be on track.

no good grades do look good on your application but the only grades that matter are your asvab your afoqt and your grades during flight school

I thyink its 20/200 as long as you can be corrected to 20/20. Used to be 20/75 I think. Check a AF website.
