dam guys! you nailed this song! spot on by the original left bank version. i go see the four tops every year here on the mississippi gulf coast. motown version, but still outstanding. much love and continued success to yall(southern expression). john
You guys are damned good. That era is fading fast, even for those of us that were there but you helped me relive those great times- that is the highest compliment that I can give.
Delightful !!! Would love to hear you guys do Got A Feeling by the Mamas & the Papas ( with a female vocalist too) Ignore the critics guys, nobody has perfect pitch but the original vocalist & a few otherworldly souls .
I think you guys are on the right track. Don't worry about criticism. When I first heard Ballerina on the radio in '67 I said, man these guys are really doing something great for pop radio. I say the same to you. Who am I ?
You've had some great comments on this vid but I'm going to top them all. I'm a woodstocker too and have drummed on and sang these on stage over the years. Yours is the best and most beautiful rendition I've heard anyone do of these songs, ever. Ever! The Left Banke would love your vid; send it to them! Everything is sublime and the vocals without equal.
You all keep guessing all my favorite titles! Most of the bands I've been in were kids who have no real appreciation of the 60s. Of course, they all say the same thing about me not being to appreciate Eminem.
well, i felt the piano player had the wrong voice for pretty bailerina. He might have had a frog in his throat. his fellow band members confirmed it for me when at 3:50 they look at him struggling. Kudos to you piano player for pushing through and you had a great voice on walk away renne, by the way
All You guys did a great job. I really liked your rendition of walk away Renee. Drummer, hats off to you, you kept the beat, played your part, and didn't try to outtop your fellowband members.
Nice medley, guys. Very nice. Two of my favorite songs in the history of pop/rock. The LB were one of a kind. You cover them very well.

Nice vid. Drummer looks a bit mechanical and seems rather pleased each time his fill worked for him.

I disagree with Mr. Starshine - I think the keyboard player had an excellent voice for Pretty Ballerina.
I truly enjoyed that - that was really great.

Excellent! Keep the faith. The '60s aren't dead. Just waiting for a come back.

Sorry but one more thing.
Is that Harry Reid (the U.S. Senator) on base?
What happened to Huckabee?

Ditto that MrStarshine333
The Left Banke. Not at all easy songs to re-produce. Their classy string section was foremost.
Very delicate and nice job on these overlooked classics from the 60's. Keep delivering you Janglebachs!
