  • fake..obviously his pet and set up for a video. ...nice try ..fail fake.

  • @lewandlo you may be correct however, there are pythons that were pets that can be this easy to handle. You are assuming this snake has been left out in the wild for many, many months so then becomes wild again. Thanks for viewing. Your comment - no fail.

  • If that was really a" wild" burmese he woulda put the hurt on you.

  • Beutiful animal to bad they are misunderstood. Got a 12 footer and he ain't escaping at all.

  • You gotta blame the pet stores for that plus the owners second. sad to say most pet stores will go for a quick sale and mis inform customers just to move their product and make a quick buck. also the customers owners also should of asked how big they get and vice versa now what they are getting into before the purchase. cause most stores are if you don't ask we won't tell so customers don't know what they are getting into. but i'm sure the ali's will keep them in check also them big bass's to

  • @BrownGuysProduction you are correct. Agree - thanks for viewing.

  • I hate to give credit to a man who looks like Woody Harrelson, but you're a smart man!

  • @Dinoman217 this very weird. I did a show this past Friday to a middle school in S. Central Fl. and I was told I looked like Wood Harrelson from the movie - Zombieland. SO, yah, this very weird. Thanks.

  • let them live! blame the people not the snake instead of killing them

  • @mouse1420 I can agree to a point. They don't belong and were here because of people but they still dont' belong...like.. fireants, wild hogs, etc..... kill and use all the body for many things. I love snakes so it's a sticky issue for me as well.

  • @ToddRowley I think people are going about it the wrong way as usual. My dad went through flrodia and there are signs saying dont become a victim, dont let your pets and kids be victims. burmese python on the loose. Im pretty sure there is hell of alot more gators then snakes. they will take care of them and the ones thats live should be easier to catch since they will be bigger. or tag the big females and see where they go to nest then make a graph were most likely to find breeding females

  • @mouse1420 very good points and yest the alligators will be able to keep the balance...we hope. WE are currently micro chipping the females. Have been for about 5 years now and tracking them. WE are studing them and not just eliminating them. Thanks for the comments.

  • @ToddRowley Im glad to hear but still you see on tv that they study then kill the snake. I think thats kinda pointless. they will eat anything that comes there way. anything they can eat. so why cut them open and look inside to see what they ate. I mean flordia is full of non native invasive animals and fish. why are burmese pythons getting the most buzz??? because people are more scared of snakes then other things.

  • I can't wait for this guy to die from a snake bite..

  • @fuckvegan Mom is that you?! I asked you to stop commenting on here...ggeeze. Anyway, Love you too and I'll call you tonight.

  • Nice Video, Just wondering, generally wild pythons are fairly aggressive, and would not tolerate being handled. they will tend to strike and bite. The domesticated ones are generally more timid and allows handling that the one shown in the video. I'm assuming this python is a captive one. Beautiful..although I'm somewhat squirmish of snakes. cheers.

  • @Magesandrogue You are correct. Thank you for the polite comment. Lately it seems the holiday season brings out the worst in some people ["I hide behind the internet to be rude to everyone since I can not do it in real life or in person..."]

Thanks for viewing and yes, it was a pet. lol

  • that kinda looked set up????

  • @oIVIILKo Looks set up? -giggles- ya think?. But yes, I agree they shouldn't be let go at all and those that do should face a hefty financial penalty at least. Snakes are gorgeous animals and I enjoy mine very much. He obviously is an enthusiast as well and I can appreciate a lot of his views and agree with several of his opinions. Learn about the animal before you commit to owning one. Don't hate ... educate. Thanks for another entertaining post Todd. -Ren

  • @MissAnimeRenee you are welcome.

  • how come this dude never dies from the bites?

  • @kniahin "dude" is that me you are referring too? I can't die I am internet! lol thanks for viewing.

  • It's not very clear. Are they established in Florida or not ?

  • @yynnmmbb Yes, they are NOW established in South Florida.

  • ya cuz he didnnt put the snake in the pipe...that thing wuda bit the shit outta him

  • @12valve94 could have killed me too..... or not?! thanks for viewing.

  • @12valve94 your mental how do u think he got it out

  • all the burmese pythons in florida should die

  • @wavecrasher8 I don't think DARWIN would approve but that is okay. Many people give "IG-NOR-RANT" statements like this...lol. Peace, love, Religion and all that other stuff. Thanks anyway for viewing.

  • @wavecrasher8 No not real too late burmese python got many mated made babies be freedom in florida how they get out of cage and zoo from HURRICANE TOO LATE

  • @lnquistor53 as long as we are staying within the law. We may not like the laws but doing things illegally doesn't help the cause either. It only makes the "Reptile" people look more in a negative light then what the media and politicians are already trying to do.

  • @ToddRowley Well... the government is overstepping it's authority by banning pets anyway so we might as well act like the ban doesn't exist if it goes through (which it won't) since the law itself is not legal or right.

  • Small, young pythons may be attacked and eaten by a variety of birds, carnivorous mammals, large frogs, large insects and spiders, and even other snakes. But adult pythons are also at risk from birds of prey like eagles and even lions and leopards.

  • Fake. No one would take a wild python and wrap it around themselves. LOL

  • @JLPenland "wild" who said they were wild. I said I saw this crossing the road. If we believe the media then their ALL SOMEONE's PETS. But you are correct on this one. It's MINE! Thanks for viewing.

And just to let you know I've captured several pythons that were not that aggressive at all. Largest was a 11 ft - albino, yep and had a temper at first but sooned calmed down.

  • @ToddRowley totally called it ^_^

    Do pythons go 'feral' quickly?

  • You know whats a problem in florida? Not pythons! BULLDOZERS, PARKING LOTS, CONDOS, SHOPPING CENTERS, etc are destroying the native wildlife.

Feral cats are bad too, where are the news stories on banning cats? They kill many more animals than snakes eat.

Also, where did all the pythons go? LOL...because they can't stand the climate after the cold temps this past winter. Along with exotic fish...not to mention the natives that took a hard hit.

  • @droxland Yes you are correct.

  • Is this related to the S373 & HR2811 proposed python ban?

  • @Jenfucius YES IT IS.

  • @ToddRowley

    Thanks ToddRowley.

Would you know if both bills passed?

  • @Jenfucius they are still trying. on the other.

  • @ToddRowley but is this in the entire united states of just the southern states.

  • @balkastalkman Florida for now but many other states are trying... CA, SC, NC, PA

  • moe Ron

  • @Johnnyturns - once again was that "moron" comment at me or someone else? Just wanting to know how to respond.

  • How would u compare a dog and cat to a filthy bermese python that can get up to 20 feet long.that is common sense if you cannot take care of an animal u don't just let it go in the wild. For the sake of the animals well being. But a dog and a cat come on dude if you overfeed a cat and a dog it will not get 20 feet long. Tell me when you hear half of a state in fear and setting up hotlines like 1800 I got one for a dog and a cat because they the people are fearing for their lives.

  • 86yukon- I am not sure if you explained yourself correctly. Actually I think you prduced the opposite results. " a filthy burmese python.." - first pythons are not filthy and anyone that knows about snakes doesn't even consider the word "filthy" with them. Sure this snake can grow 18-20 ft. long but lets lay down facts and ONLY facts.

  • 86yukon Part 2 0f 2 1) over 140,000 people are bitten by dogs EVERY year 2) over 10 people every year are KILLed from dog attacks, 3) we have more dogs and cats running around because of irresponsible pet owners then all exotic snakes combined. 4) more people have died from dog bites in ONE year then 15 years with Snakes in the USA.

  • 86yukon part 3 of 3 6) dogs and cats are a bigger problem then these snakes are and the MEDIA like to fuel the fire ("half of a state in fear..." and you, apparently are believing what you read and hear without doing some additional homework.

    Thanks for viewing...

  • @86yukon well for one dogs kill more people per year than any pet snakes kill in 3 decades.

is there any proof of anyone ever releasing a burm into the everglades?

  • did you graduate the second grade?

  • hello as i watched that it seemed like it was staged just for the point you where trying to prove..witch i get it..i have 2 burms albino and a green and i wouldnt have any other pet :) the only problem is when i take my green out hes out for a hr he gets the feel of freedom and turns into a diffrent snake thats why i think that is staged cuz all they need is a hr to rome around than they turn completely diffrent this i know...lol i found out the hard way i got scars to prove my point :)

  • @chokeonvomit you ARE correct. Thanks for viewing.

  • :) thx for replying...i find ur stuff funny yet can learn alot from it....thx man

  • chokeonvomit - thanks. That is my plan, Education with humore. Thanks again for viewing.

  • everyone needs to understand that you just cant let these pythons go in the wild i seen a python that had up to 17 hatchlinks thats not good they are wrecking are food chain i think right now they are at the top of the food chain they have know predaters in the wild so in the next 15 years who knows how many we will have they are killing innocent dogs cats and babies even humans if nobodys cares then what will happen

  • 86Yukon part 3 - You are correct to a point but mother nature has a way of working it all out. Right now the actual burmese they are have caught and killed so NO PROOF of them eating all the endangered things. Infact they are eating other gators, some deer, large rodents and other things. Dogs and cats?...wow, I am a firm believer of if you don't want them stop feeding them and raising up dogs and cats that roam the neighborhoods. Thanks again 86yukon for clarifying. I appreciate it - really.

  • 86yukon - One more thing - go to my other videos that clarifies the Burmese Python more. mayb this video was a little misleading. Thanks again.

  • and you are saying we just need to live with them i am not with that buddy any time now these snakes could be up in northeren america if you dont know they just did a test for 6 months to see if these snakes can handle the cold and they can if we dont doing nothing now they will be all over america and florida is known for gators if u didnot know that gators are a florida symbolthem guys are born and they are part of ameirca u need to understand that these pythons are taking over and need to die

  • 86yukon part 2 - what I said is they are here to stay until we get a huge freeze. Sorry to disappoint but the Burmese Python WILL NOT move North into freezing States. Where the ground can freese they will not survive. The Indian Python however can handle colder climate but that is not the issue in Everglades. Its the Burmese. - No they are NOT taking over.

  • mugtat100 - I figured there was already a link with these youtube videos. Thanks for viewing.

  • first off chief rowley i am 24 years old and i am from the northern states which is illinois i specialize in the pet field and how do you know what license i have and what i dont have i am trying to tell u that these pythons are not pets anymore because dumb fucking people cant do anything with them when they get to be so big so they drop them off in butt fuck egypt which is the everglades i have nothing wrong with the everglades but u and me know their is nothing their

  • 86yukon part 1 - Oh now understand. Thanks for clarifying. Yes, people have let them go especially more with all the media attention about having the proper permits and such.

  • I'm going down to the everglades within a week or two I have some time off of work I have about 6 people going with me we are going to kill them little fuckers u snakes are not welcome so since u are trying to make something of ur self I have alot of people that will be doing something about that I have lots of equiptment to take care of them pythons

  • Them fuckining snakes need to get the fuck out of here your video is telling people to get one as a pet praticcaly them foriegners need to get the fuck out of America they are not welcome and if u don't like u can get the fuck back home to brazill or were ever ur fucking from Foriegners get the fuck out of her ur not WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 86yukon- now that you are done with your rant. Let me fill you in. 1) you must be licensed to kill them in the everglades. I am assuming you are not being that you are coming from the Northern States - might be stuck in snow. 2) I am assuming you are listening to all the news on your tellie so you don't have all the correct information. 3) You seem to enjoy the word "f**k" and makes me wonder about your age. 4) were you trying to dis on me "back home to brazil....."? 5) thanks for viewing.

  • thank you for actually showing how these snakes once they get loose in the wild mate, thats when they get aggresive ,,the ones that were let loose dont even bite and dont know their surroundings....BUT of course, humans ,jump to the chance to go kill anything especially americans if you know anything about snakes ,you wont be stupid enough to let them go,much less venture out w.out being carefull about your surroundings ,and guess what THEN YOU WONT HAVE PROBLEMS W/ them ,duhhhhh

  • Fatb... - you are welcome but I am not really sure if that was a dis or a compliment. Not really sure but thanks for viewing anyway.

  • Tell me more about burms I plan to get a baby

  • Do you need a license to own imperator boas? cause i have one, but i live in Germany, and if I were to move back id bring her with me. Because here I don't need a license, I just have to register her in the city i live in. thanks!

  • Depends what State to come back to here in the USA. NY doesn't allow any exotics period but right now with all the laws trying to be passed to ban these pythons.. the boa, currently, is not on that list. ....for now.

  • i would be going back home to Texas, but thats a long while from now.

  • mpoisl - don't think they have any laws on boas but I'd double check with your Fish and Wildlife Department for Texas. - Good luck.

  • you should give that one to me because i would have the space for a big ass snake like that and i would feed it rabbits that i breed.

by the way do i need to have a room were the snake can rome free or can i put him in a enclosure

  • Thanks dave1234madmax for viewing. Yes you'd need an enclosure and not to allow your snake to roam free. I do not support owners that allow large snakes (boids) to roam freely in a room or home. That gives the feeling of total freedom and more wild like and harder to handle. Also unsafe for unknowing guests to the home. Here in the USA you'll need a license now to own one along with a micro-chip implanted in them. Thanks again for viewing.

  • are ball pythons as much a problem? i would think they are a more popular pet (smaller), but that owners would not release them because they don't get too big to handle. as far as escaped snakes go, do you see ball pythons as a problem also?

  • No problems with Ball Pythons at all but I am sure the select few organizations out there will want to ban anything considered a pet...except their pets at home. Ball pythons are not a problem the Burmese Python is but not like the media makes it out to me though. Thanks for viewing.

  • Well, I hate to break python-lovers hearts hear but I got family & friends joining me on python hunts this winter in the western 'glades. We'll kill all the pythons we see. I know they'll be in the hammocks when the weather gets cold & cloudy. We don't need to wait for the govt. By the time they get anything done we'll be hip-deep in them. About 30 of us (probably more) will be killing well over 500 a week. Machetes will make quick work of them. I'll meet my posse there in under 7 weeks.

  • Unless you have an official license. You won't be legally allowed to do that. Good luck. Or you are just texting to make an issue. Either way thanks for viewing.

  • Why bother with the political red tape to money in some politician's pocket? It all seems to come down to lining some fat-cats wallet. We know what they look like. One would think the govt. would be very eager to to have any and everybody possible (especially those of us that know the 'gades) irradicating such an evasive species that's destroying the only ecosystem like it in the world. Go figure! How much is the license?

  • Well, that is the issue "Red Tape" = "political Politician Pockets...". I agree with much of what you are saying however, if they just let anyone and everyone go in an get them "officially" allowing anyone - then they're held liable in the eye of "public opinion" when someone gets hurt. The license is $100.00 per year but that is not the license permit you'll need to hunt the snakes.

  • You'll have to get a new special permission permit to allow you to do that from FWC but you must also be ROC licensed first (Reptiles of Concern) - $100.00. Good luck.

  • dude im pretty fuckin sure that that was a set up sene b.c ive caught a wild burm and after like 30 days or so of being free they r wild and would bite the shit out of u...but nice set up show man!!!!!! hahahahahaha

  • You are correct! Thanks for viewing. However, some snakes can be released and still maintain an even tempter days or weeks after.

  • Good job on catching that Burmese, it would only have been dangerous for the snake to go free like that. A Ball python is about my limit on keeping a snake because i don't have the space, but perhaps you could of kept that one if you had the license .=)

  • domestic house cats kill the key largo wood rat but theirs no witch hunt on them. Everything thats endangered was endangered before pythons were found in the everglades. Along with the fact that there are a couple thousand invasive species in the area says who ever we are paying to protect the parks are asleep at the wheel.

  • Preach it mcdowelli76! - thanks for viewing.

  • Kenny Powers as Steve Irwin

  • Kenny ROgers version from Mad TV?

  • why doesnt it try to bite you and how long have you been around snakes

  • Been around snakes for over 25 years. Someones pet snake.

  • they're not native, we need to kill them all. They are eating Native Florida Wildlife! I want some python shoes with a matching purse. Common Miami, Sell 'em!

  • Yes, and wallets, belts, hats.... Thanks for viewing.

  • it was that dudes python he put it there before and acted like he caught it then he took it back home with him lol

  • You are correct sir! However, I enjoyed making it. AND the boys on the hill that saw me "plant" the snake were upset over it too....lol

  • I have been to Glades countless times never saw a python nor have met anyone who works there who has. I suspect much of the news reports ,etc are staged

  • the current news media is not stage but the trappers may wait until the media get's there to "finish" up their catch. The rule normally is when looking for them you won't find them. Don't look for them and you'll find plenty. Thanks for viewing.

  • Yes thats true .

  • Is this real or your pet burmese that you brought out there?

lol the info was good but the snake seemed planted :P

  • You are correct sir! Thanks for viewing That snake was planted but I enjoyed making the video. The boys on the hill that saw this didn't think it was funny that I planted it. (I didn't know they were there). lol

    Thanks again

  • lol ok, seemed a little tame :P

    very nice looking snake.

    peace. :)

  • No one should kill them. Maybe catch and give away as pets.

  • I agree and also agree on the hunt as well. As long as the entire animal us used and not just to kill I have no issues with it. I know PETA wouldn't like that but the facts are facts. The problem is that some were peoples pets and now you must be licensed for them. Many licensed owners don't want to them do to having to update all their paperwork with the Florida Fish Wild LIfe Commission and get them micro chipped. It's now becoming a bigger hassle to rescue them. But thanks for viewing.

  • yay... everyone totally wants to find one of these out in their backyard where their children and/or pets are playing..

  • SOme may want to but most will not ever find them. Depends where you live to really get the full effects. So, thanks for viewing and NO they will not take over the USA. Enjoy other vids that will explain the Python more.

  • I live in Ga. and are local news did a story about the Python problem. Is it true that you can be paid by the snake dead or alive?? And shouldnt you need a trappers license? They were describing it like it was open season.... If so im down!!!

  • Senator Nelso is trying to get that to happen but it has not "officially" happened. yes, you need a license/permit to have/trap and even kill these reptiles.

  • Not open season yet but the death of the young girl last week only fuels the fire. That was the result of an irresponsible Pet Owner not the snake. If I drive my car and kill a child you don't go after the car you go after the owner. yes, we have a python problem and I am not against the hunting of them in the wild in FL. but banning them all together for professionals like myself that use them to educate is WRONG and a WITCH HUNT. Thanks for letting me vent.

  • what a wanna be

  • theyre killing those snakes thats wrong find reptile ppl who want one give them to zoos but dont kill them

  • You are correct sir.

PS - they taste great with some seasoning too.

    Thanks for viewing.

  • hahahahahahah.

i thought you were a homo after watching this video, then i saw that reply.

    you win.

  • you queer

  • Wow, you two pzumbro? Now, explain to me how my sexual orientation comes into play on this video? or are you using the word from it's original definition which means "odd" or "strange" thanks for viewing anyway and yes, you got your response.

  • A wild snake would've bit that guy's face.

  • you are correct to a point. SOme of these snakes are recent releases and that means they are used to be handled. I have caught many of snakes that were once someones pet that were very nice and others very mean.

  • yep, he would have been sorry for picking it up like that.

  • If that snake was in the wild for some time or born in the wild - you are correct. I have had my share of bad bites. Thanks for viewing.

  • no problem.

  • you set that up dude

  • You are correct but heck I enjoyed doing it anyway. But those 3 boys on the hill behind me were really upset when they saw me "stage" it. "I'm never watching animal planet again" I heard them yell out. lol

  • You're funny! The coloring on your snake is very cool, it makes a very defined pattern

  • Invasive species aren't something that we need to "just live with." Burmese pythons need to be aggressively managed just as any other invasive species is. They are a threat to the endangered native species of Florida and to he entire ecosystem. Educating the public is important, but that will not get rid of the current ecological threat.

  • I agree with your comments but I agree with my statement as well and maybe my wording could be a little different. I believe we have to learn to live with them AND at the same time learn how to reduce their numbers. Fire Ants are also an invader that are not suppose to be here in the USA along with many other plants and wildlife. Fl. needs about a week long hard freeze but that would destroy Fl.'s eco system as well. Thanks for viewing - Knowledge is Power and Power is always knowledge.

  • anyone in East PA with big pythons for me to wrestle with and let it squeeze me?

  • Now you know that wouldn't be a good idea especially with "anaconda" being your name and all.....

    just stay safe.

  • wow that s so sick.. I have a pet ball python i ilve in new york city, and all large constrictors or any exotic reptile like iguanas, monitors, and things like sugar gliders and ferrets are all illegal to own where i live, its a shame. I always wanted a columbian red tailed boa and a burmese python, looks like i'll have to move outta new york.. SO if i moved to florida could i own a columbian red tailed boa, or would i need a license for that too? Are the licenses hard to acquire.

  • Yes I am aware of the laws in NY. I have acquired snakes from people that were moving to NY and didn't know the laws.

Yes the laws here in Florida are different and to own a python you have to be licensed ($100.00) annually and have the snake(s) microchipped.

  • that's not bad at all, do you still need a license for a ball python? OR a red tailed boa? ITs funny, because every pet store in NY believes that ball pythons are illegal to own.. But Pet smart sells them frequently, and they are a big Corporation, their lawyers look into that stuff. According to them if the snake is under 6 foot, its legal. They also sell healthy snakes. Do you have any pet snakes?

  • really?

lol my mom lives in ny and i live in miami.

i have one and i take it both places.

i bought her here in miami and i dont pay anything? also, is that only for burmese's cuz i knoow a lot of people with snakes?

  • you could get a nicaraguan boa they dont get that big

  • in florida i'm guessing right? Because in NEw york they refuse to sell any boa

  • No boa gets as big as these Burmese Pythons however New York has very strick laws and the new law HR669 is trying to get passed through many states. It's a Witch Hunt Law that 2 major organizations are trying to get pushed through without doing all their homework.

  • its a retarded law.. IF that law gets pushed.. Ball pythons will still be legal right?

  • Right now if the new bill passes, HR669 you could love that right as well to have a simple ball python. This law/bill would open the door for much harder and damaging effects to the trade industry.

  • wait a sec... Ur sayign if HR669 gets passed, ball pythons will be illegal or legal? IF they made ball pythons illegal, i'd be so pissed because, they can't harm anyone. ON top of that colubrids like kings and corns, and hognose snakes are slightly venomous, not so much to MOST humans , but a few people like myself are sensitive and alllergic to many things like bee stings and certain snake bites. People gotta wake up and realize not to generalize things and realize what is a dangerous reptile.

  • I am not saying they would become illegal but I am saying that if HR669 got passed in Fl. it would open the door for other "bills" to be passed by the same large organizations and it would destroy the industry. These organizations may mean well in their heads but the big picture is that they haven't done their homework. They can argue just like many can argue the "global warming" both sides can make it sound good. HR669 is a doorway to many more problems.

  • I agree ,They shouldn't classify all pythons or like just start banning things. IT really ruins the options for alternative pets. I have allergies and asthma so i love dogs but until i move out i can't own one. I also love reptiles. I find them interesting and awesome because of how some reptiles can become tame. Another thing is that certain reptiles aren't fun pets, like garter snakes, and anoles. They are fun to watch but can't really be handled well

  • So are the majority of Pythons in the Everglades now released pets, or wild pythons. True, Florida has a Tropical climate similar to South East Asia and has prey for large snakes. So hypothetically speaking. King Cobra's would thrive in the Everglades, hope not many people have them as pets.

  • you are correct with all of it mamoderawat. And we actually have some black headed cobras already in the everglades but they have not been "established" yet. We hope that doesn't happen. Florida is a melting pot for many introduced species. Thanks for viewing.

  • By established do you mean they (black headed cobras) have not started breeding, or they have but their population is very low? I might be wrong, but is Florida the only state with a truly tropical climate with regards to temperatures, humidity, and rain fall? Further west does it become hot dry and arid desert with very cold nights in winter?

  • Yes, the numbers are very low and not "official". Yes Florida is a unique state here in the USA. You seem to know a lot about this topic and I am only supporting your correct knowledge. Learn on.

  • Thanks, wildlife, geography and nature are my hidden passions. Knowledge mostly gained from discovery and similar channels.

  • Keep watching...you may see me on Animal Planet...a very small chance but anything is possible. Thanks for conversation and keep that brain of yours learning.

  • Do something wild enough, put it on youtube and if it develops cult status they will come to you. Best thing about new media, its a free way to be seen.

  • true or false: the florida population of pythons is already beyond the point of feasible eradication.

  • True! The pythons well over 60,000+ most likely over 100,000+ in population. They will live here just like the green anole lizards, fire ants and many other introduced exotics. Keep in mind where ever the ground can freeze these pythons will not live. Regardless of what the media tries to say. Thanks for viewing.

  • the floridian steve irwin

  • Thanks for the video Todd, a good start on educating folks. I was not able to read the text at the end all, I think black text on a white background would be a lot easier to read, and use a larger font. I also suggest you have somebody write a script for you and hold up cue cards or you could just just memorize key points before you start the camera. There was a lot of repetition of simple basic statements in this cut and I wanted more information.

  • Fully understand. the video was a quick "spoof" one and I actually had kids up on a hill see me doing this and they yelled out, "Liar!...I am never watching animal planet again.." They were yelling about me planting my python in the pipe not about what I was saying. Yes, much more on pythons and I didn't even touch the ice-berge

  • I was down in the everglades last week and I'm pretty sure I saw one coiled around something on the bank of a waterway beside the road as we drove past. I only saw it for a second or two and I ignored it because I didn't know they were so common in Florida and thought it might be some garbage that looked like a coiled snake. But after watching the giant killer snakes episode of Monsterquest and seeing how they spotted quite a few snakes in one day, I'd think theres a good chance it was a python.

  • You could very well be right. Thanks for viewing and committing on this site. Enjoy your Florida Experience but stay safe.

  • I just want to say that a Snake that can grow to 20 feet and can weigh up to 250 lbs should not be compared to a cat.... ever. Killer dogs sure. But you can't say someone with a cat is similar to someone having a killer snake. I believe all potentially dangerous animals should be tattooed and licensed with substantial Federal fines imposed if the animal is ever found outside of a responsibly secure area. If I didn't see Rottweilers running down the Street that could potentially kill my child...

  • You are actually right for the most part. There ARE fines, they ARE mico chipped and you HAVE TO BE licensed. Sure I can see your point about a cat but the millions and millions of cats running around states, town cost the tax payers hundreds of thousands every year. AGAIN, tell me the last 5 years when some died from a snake in the USA. Then tell me the last 5 years of dog bite deaths and guns deaths....

    Thanks for viewing and commenting.

  • lol. nice fake. they don't just have large iron pipes sitting around in the everglades.

but i do understand, because i've seen quite a few cruising through the glades. but none have been as docile as that.

  • Jeez if people can not take proper care of a larg snake why get them in the first place sigh... when I get mine I know when she gets 16-20ft I will have more than enough room for her :D

  • unfortunately not all people think ahead, into the future. We are in a society of "Now moment". Thanks for viewing.

  • Because people are stupid....really what the fuck do you need a pet snake for anyway

  • Well amensupremera - why do people need dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and all other animals that are also released - roam the streets, or released into placed they do not belong. It's in the eye of the beholder but responsibility is the Key Part here that is not being met. Thanks for viewing.

  • Dogs and cats are domesticated animals that can more or less be controlled. Pythons are dangerous wild animals that grow over 20ft long and lay up to 80 eggs at a time snatching up everybodys pets and preying on small children. People buy pet pythons when their 5inches long for $20 because they think it will make them look tough. I'm fishing or camping I really need to be worried about 30ft pythons that some dickhead who was overcompensating released into the swamps b/c he couldnt care for it

  • Well it looks like you are either very passionate about the issue or clueless. I will take passionate and I agree to a point. but if you are not a Professional Business Person that actually runs a business and has been educating people for over 20 years I don't expect you to understand. Name ALL snake deaths in the USA in the last 5 years. Go ahead. now tell me how many people DIE EVERY DAY from dog bites, guns and cars. Yes, i can argue this.

  • Part 2

You can say that they get up to 20+ft long they do and yes people do RELEASE Them too. How many dogs and cats wonder the street. how many people died in the past 5 years from large snakes? How many die EVERY DAY from dogs!

I appreciate your arguement but for those that promote safe and responsible keeping of snakes understand. You unfortunately are seeing the negative side only. These guys have been living in the everglades for over 20+ yrs now.

  • Part 3

and finally do you have any idea how much it cost every year for people that have release exotic fish and plants into the wild? Billions of dollars every year. So, I can look at deaths every day due to guns (people kill - guns don't) and dog bites or the very expensive cost. Either way bud I appreciate your passion and I hope you do not become what you don't like. I will continue to educate people on not releasing. Thanks for your comments and I am not over compensating for anything.

  • I see your point. Whats the harm in letting any retard own an exotic reptile? Its not like they are going to get released into the wild and rapidly reproduce. And REALLY just how much of the United States is actually compatible for pythons to thrive in anyways. Its not like they could ever spread past the Everglades. Boy was I misinformed. Reticulated pyhtons for pets is a great idea and hey what about pet anacondas whats the worst that could happen. You've changed my mind completely.

  • amensupremera - I wasn't trying to get you to "change your mind completely".

Yes large snakes can and are dangerous to those that DO NOT know what they are doing and only want them becuase it is what looks "cool" at the time and they don't fully understand the long term responsibilitys.

AND- these large snakes WILL NOT spread all over. FACT - where ever the ground can freeze they WILL NOT live. Reagardless of what the media tells you. Again, thinks for the conversations.

  • What I find interesting is that in each of your posted comments you call names to the those that have snakes. But yet you know nothing about me or those professionals and responsible reptile keepers. I do a huge justice in education and have been for over 20 years. Keep that in mind when name calling. My impression of your thoughts are "1 bad apple can spoil the bunch" ... that shouldn't be the case.

  • ...I have three... it's just a pet people like thats like saying why do people need a pet dog or cat for /:
