no, an original skyline would be a C110 from the 70's. and R1s are the "new" classic skyline. but unlike you, I care about speed, not so much the looks. the 99 is slow as crap. you would be way better off getting a 300zx. a GTI is faster than that 99!!! and ricers suck. unless its a geo metro with a k20 engine in it....but then it wouldnt be a ricer anymore!
