Me and my family watch this every single Christmas. We have the DVD of it, but we always watch the VHS, because it hold memories for us. We all gather round and have a "Treat in a bowl." (A regular cereal bowl filled with goodies such as M&M's, pretzels, goldfish, Hershey Kisses, etc.) We have done this since all of us were little. I'm the youngest and I'm 20 years old. We still do this, even though we are all over 20! :)

Here's a little story for everyone...

The man who played Kermit in this movie admitted that he was afraid that he couldn't live up to Jim Henson's reputation. The night before the first recording, he had a dream that he met Jim in the lobby of the hotel. There, he confessed all of his fears to him. Jim simply replied that he'd do just fine.

I watch this film every single Christmas eve. It was a tradition my family started before I can remember. This specific song would always get me so excited for Christmas morning and so happy that it was Christmas Eve. That last shot of Kermit looking up at the sky is beautiful. My older brother stopped watching this with us like 5 years ago and now we watch a different movie and my parents get tired afterward and usually go to sleep, but I still watch this even if I'm alone. I'm 21 years old.
