The most pure dogfight game is battlefield 1943 air superiority. Just Zero's against Corsairs and the oponent/s, this just don't 'cut it' compared. Looks pretty but no substance.

Not usually, it has little armour, it's not well armoured as the AC-130. Cargos are just cargos and theres no need to put armour on them because they will never go into the battlefield under normal circumstances.

C-130 is solely a cargo plane hence the C which means Cargo and it has no armour whats so ever.

AC-130 is the one that'll rape you. It's a C-130... with guns. The 'A' stands for attacker.
