Same thing happened to me 2 nights ago except i was lucky. I saw a deer crossing ahead and i slowed down a bit to make sure one wasn't following it, when i saw no deer, i sped up and then the deer appeared and was heading for the side of my car, the deer jumped over my car literally. Me and the guy behind me were like " holy crap". But just a note to everybody watching. If you see a deer crossing ahead, its most likely another deer is following it.
