  • I heard this song back in the 70's as I pulled into my driveway. I listened intently and stayed in my car until the song was over.

THIS SONG LED ME TO SEEK THE LORD! Thanks to God and Don Francisco, I committed my life to Jesus that same day!!! Glory!!!

  • Yeah! He did it for me too!! Raised me from the dead, spiritually, that is, and gave me new life, eternal.

  • I am from Bangladesh, Thank you very much.

  • Wonderful song! Don's voice has always touched me so profoundly.

  • love this song

  • I'm sorry but I don't believe in God whatsoever but Don has an amazing voice, plays amazingly and his song writing is amazing. I get so much stick for liking him but I don't care if its bible basher music.. each parable has a great story and I respect that.. and I respect Don for passing on those well intentioned messages..

  • loved this song when i was a kids and still love it

  • How could one person not like this?

  • @dusterman1000 How could two? Must be atheist.

  • Fabulous!

  • Thank you Lord!

  • Ever since I first heard it in the seventies, this song still chokes me up!

Let God's Glory Shine! Praise his name!!!

    Are you a true believer?

    He is RISEN this Day!!

  • What a story-teller!

  • i listened his songs before i came to believe in CHRIST(1990 ! ) and i like to listen to them still today because the words are still the same and don never changed them.thats great.

  • I believe the reason that Jesus did not want them to tell anybody is that it was not His time to be taken and crucified. He was trying to lay low so to speak. Every tiime that people told of the wonderful things that He did, the religious leaders of that day wanted to kill Him that much more. Same thing today. If God does something great, the religious denominations condemn it.

  • I think I would have to tell somebody too...

  • @Sassyladyme Even if Jesus told you not to? That's what's weird about this song, it ends in disobeying Jesus.

  • Love it! Praise Jesus!

  • my mom took me to one of his concerts in a neighboring town, oh, close to a decade ago. We had the 'He's Alive' CD for years and i think my mom still has it. When i can, i'm gonna get another copy.

I loved this song because i can picture the story in my mind.

  • Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! My wive, by the power of the Holy Spirit has been released from Satan's bondage to alcohol! Thank you for your prayers!

  • DON FRANCISCO....

MaryAnne posted a redone song that Don did back in the 70's called He's Alive, a wonderful song. Glad his music is NOT forgotten and people are hearing them still.

Here is another wonderful song that he sang in the 70's also. Infact, was on the same album (yes vinyl), I think mine is in the basement.

  • Oh Lord, I pray that by Your Holy Hand You will release my wife of 41 years from the bondage of alcoholism. In the name of Your Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

  • @RevFrJoel1

my prays are with you and your wife

  • @RevFrJoel1 I just prayed for you and your wife...the Lord Almighty Greater than all things that bind us will deliver.

  • I think in time Don's songs will be viewed as Handel's Messaih now is... inspired directly by God. I think Don Francisco, Keith Green and Handel will all have a special place together in God's kingdom.

  • Heard him first when I just got saved, made a massive difference in my life, Ministered to me BIG-TIME, thank You Jesus for this mans talent applied for the advancement of Your Kingdom

  • GOT TO TELL SOMEBODY!

  • when I first heard this song..I couldn't image what her parents must have gone thru...Until this past September...as I prayed that my daugher would survive brain surgery...God is so awesome...to see and feel His presence..unless you've experienced it...it only seems like words...but it is real...my own daughter was on the Brink of death-.and she was restored to me-I couldn't shut up abot it.-still can't..I had to tell anyone what Jesus did for my daughter-yes she has cancer. she is still alive!

  • @yankeegurl62 Faith, prayer and his love are still very powerfull. Praise God for you and your daughter, believe me brother he can take that cancer and remove it...were 2 or 3 are gathered, there I am with you...

  • Haven't heard this song in years...but have fond memories of hearing it for the first time...the entire album for that matter...unique and so talented....storyteller and excellent guitar player...
