i'm in love with this.... we're singing this version in chorus at my school, i love the part about gun preaching a gospel full of hate when we get really loud then really soft
It is so much better TTBB. No offense to the treble clef. You just need talented tenors, and a talented ensemble altogether. There's a reason Bestor wrote it for male voices. It's a little shouty too at the 'jesus help me' bit, but that is a mistake a lot of groups make. Overall not bad, I bet you all enjoyed singing it.
I am Chorus, a SATB chorus and we are singing this, and it is an amazing song. Very emotional, I am bass and it is one of the most depressing parts but..it is great. I hope we get the vid put on here and I will put a video response. Thanks for the upload.
Girls are great and all that, but i've yet to find an SATB that touches me emotionally. My top three favorite version of this song ever were all men's arrangements.
let us fix our eyes on jesus the author and perfector of our faith who for the joy set before him endured the cross scorning it's shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2

boohiss. I have to say you took an amazing arrangement and let a bad choir sing it. Or... they just weren't meant to sing this music.

i like the video.. but the song was sung much to fast... and the womens part needs to be cut, way to high.. ruins the feel of the song...

I sang it i an SSAA choir, and it sounds much different. The meaning given across is the same, but given in quite a different way.

Had to is not an appropriate term. Privileged or blessed would be much more apropriate.
