its all about what the quads were designed for, the 450 is a race quad, the 700 is a sport cruiser. polaris and honda 4x4s are work machines. grizzly, is a backwoods heavy trails and hunting(hence why it is the most compact and has good articulation) thats where the arctic cat falls in at(great suspension), and the outlander 800 is a sport 4x4, they are focused more on 4x4 atv racing. Another note arctic cats used to be awesome when KTM made the motors.
im gonna continue with this cuz ignorance pisses me off, also to add that CC's doesn't mean faster, the stock 450's are just a fraction faster on the top end then the 700's but the 700s handle them on the bottom, the arctic cat is 1000(actually 950) cc sure but its 800 LBS my quad is 680, i mean polaris has had a 900+ out for awhile and it by no means was impressive in the speed department. so more cc doesn't mean faster

I also have a procharger blown 822hp flywheel hp 4x4 @ 5000lbs that destroys both my quads in 4wd with 456 gears and detroit lockers,

Look at a picture of the back of an M5 and you'll find that they have quad exhaust and not just two on one side. Not a dealer but my Outty 800 has left me stranded many times. I'm hoping the bugs are all repaired now and if so then its a pretty good machine. I like the power and comfort but its just too many repairs and concerning my riding, I'm an old man and the younger guys trash their Yamaha's and they seldom break.
I've had so much trouble with my 800. At 6 months the engine blew and had to be rebuilt. The front springs collapsed. The winch had to be replaced. The transmission housing leaked water causing the belt to slip. Then the transmission stopped shifting later and now my ATV is in the shop getting a new clutch because it locked up a few weeks ago. Although the warranty is 3 yrs I still have to pay a $50 dectable for each incident. They're fun and fast but unreliable.
i agree my best friend has a outtt 400 and 2 polaris sportman 500s and he never had a problem with his outty and one of the polarises jest burnt up the engen and the other one been in the shop like 3,000 times
truth be told... outlander wins. keep in mind the power to lbs ratio. top speed def goes to the beamer but the outlander def. takes it for the first 500 feet at least. very common . sorry guys this race is legit

P.S.- No need to supercharge(if possible) the Renegade- it'd be completely unfair to all other ATVs. Instead of beating them, we'd demolish them making them cry home to their mommas. Either that, or we'd spin our tires all the way through 50m.p.h. and lose a lot of races, and break a lot of axles in mud bogs... lolz

i have a 2007 outlander 500. thats just way it sounds...doesn't sound like its been worked on or anything special. can am atv's are simply just monsters
