  • I love ilfracombe used to go there for a week with my family on holiday every year i made sure every year that we had 1 ride on the red land train & every night me & my Sister would go to the arcade next 2 the lifeboat shed at the harbour & i remmember going on the cliff railway when we was on holiday i was scared to go on when i first saw it Lol

  • This part of devon is superb .. i came here many times in the late 90s has a coach driver for shearings holidays the company had the valley of the rocks hotel at the top of the cliff .. Great memories of this area - Thanks for posting!

  • I absolutly love this place. I visit North Devon every year and just have to keep coming back to Lynton and Lynmouth. Going back in 2 days and can't wait! Love the video, its so peacful.

    i'm owen's dad & i live in haverhill suffolk

    which is about 260 miles from lynton/lymouth &

    life in these parts just seems so relaxed & nice

    i came to devon(lynton)first when i was about 12 then when i was about 17 & most recent may this year at 29

    & each time have stayed at sunny lyn in lynton & i'm sure i'll go back down there soon.

  • HI Owens Dad, It sure is a beautiful part of the country. I've only been to Lynmouth and Lynton once ( when I recorded the video ) but I definately intend to go again.

  • Los Angeles has a much shorter funicula called "Angel's Flight".It's been dismantled for almost a decade now because the brakes went bad and a few people got hurt.Instead of taking it to Midas or Meineke,to get the brakes fixed,it was decided to mothball it.Like John Mellencamp once said,"Ain't that America"
