@Youtamkuno Lol, no worries. I agree with you, but amusingly enough these were some of the smaller versions available where I live! (In my price range, anyway) :)
If they get out of the war just like that the peoples lives were a complete waste of time and just a governments tool.
The middle East was actually much more stable before Bush's lies flung everyone into a terrible war.
I think the world may need military assistance to eventually have "world peace" but we could put money into non lethal highly defensive military technology and other things to minimize death.
I actually could argue that the US and the west in general has always had a hand in the affairs of the middle east. This dates back to the 80's and our intervening in their war with Russia and in Iran by putting the Shah in Power and of course Israel which is a major source of conflict as well within the region. But Bush's fuck ups definitely did not help and helped make a tension filled area erupt into chaos.
You basically repeat the NEOCON argument that they hate us because we're rich and free.
You mean they don't hate us because "we stuck our nose" in their business by dropping bombs on their families? That's cool, because apparently nobody wants to address the real reason why they hate us.
The govt. decisions are being dictated by the bankers and the corporations and the military industrial complex.
And don't worry, 2010 food crisis will wake people up.
@SirFelix377 Then it seems my message was lost. I am NOT a person who supports everything done by the US. This vid openly spoke of how our government took advantage of both it's own citizens as well as the rest of the world. I may not have specifically mentioned everything wrong with this country but #1- that vid would take days to watch and #2- this was a RESPONSE to another video and I didn't want to stray off topic.
US support of Israel is the primary motive behind the actions of the islamic terrorists, and will continue to be long into the upcomming invasion of Iran.
As far a change with Obama... He was elected under the false pretence that he would end this bs military involvement, and what he do? He has increased the defence budget, increased the amount of troops in Afghanistan as well as Iraq, and just to let us know where he stands, appoints a guy who served the IDF as his chief of staff.
@davisfleetwood Thank you very much for taking the time to watch and comment! Your video was so inspiring, I'm honored that you enjoyed this one as well. :)
This is such an emotional situation all the way around, I only wish those in charge would think of the nation at large in stead of the 10 foot space around them!
As for the sniffles- allergy season is almost over! *throws confetti* :P
i would disagree, I don't think they want to attack us because of competitiveness. I think it's because we assist Israel no matter what screwed up thing they are doing in that part of the world. The Israeli's have been treating the muslims like shit for a long time and the US has supported it all....
BTW I'm not a nazi or against Jews, in fact my GF is not only Jewish but an Israeli.... Even she agree's this is where a lot of terrorism comes from (even though she has an opposing view)
Well, this goes with my thoughts that we are also viewed as a nation that can't keep to themselves. Perhaps it isn't our right, who knows. All I know is I see enough trouble on our own soil for us to be running around trying to save everyone else.
Wow... you guys in the US really are kept in the dark. The attack was to bring down the American economy and America's influence in their lands. Their attack wasn't going to work but Bush screwed the American economy reacting to it, hence they were victorious. America attacked entire countries over criminal groups that had nothing to do with those countries at large that's like attacking America if the KKK bombed a place in China... see how that is really stupid,
I always wondered why a war was considered in this case, yet attacks by people like McVeigh were treated as a tragedy and nothing more. Basically, they were the same attacks- but they had different underlying motivations. Either way, war never really seems to solve anything. (At least IMO)
Good call, and agreed. However, my hope is that they will tire of getting in and being shoved out, and will eventually begin to change just to stay in their positions a bit longer. *crosses fingers but isn't sure it will do much good*
Its the same in the UK. No matter what party is voted in the policy's are pretty much the same. And nothing really changes. Silly if you ask me, not exactly what democracy is all about.
If knowledge is power and someone else controls who gets the knowledge, than who has the power?
The "war on terror" will never be won for the simple fact that it only takes one person not afraid to die to cause mass damage/deaths.
And if America had a foreign army on its soil doing 1/10th of the accidental civilian killings as it does in the middle east, it would be retaliation not terror when Americans fought back.
There has to be an enemy. Real or manufactured. The war on terror is the fancy name they give for invading other countries and stealing there resources. The American peoples liberties are being taken away from them and soon the people will find out how much they truly lost.
It creeps me out when I think of the similarities between 1984 and how things are managed today. Was Orwell trying to warn us, or did he just happen to hit the nail on the head without trying? Either way, we are being DUPED.
@choirgrrl am sorry i totally believe in what u said i just couldn't help it!!
