Man Ohio state troopers must have lots of car crashes on a different troopers dash cam I've seen three different crashes including this one all in the same state
The Ohio state highway patrol used to have grey colored patrol vehicles now they are white with newer light bars so I think that should have reduced crashes but idk for sure
People hit cruisers because they want to see what is going on and they drive toward what they are looking at. Crashes and near-misses happen all the time.
Besides that, OSP changed the color of their cruisers to white to make them more visible after Trooper Frank Vazquez was killed by a drunk driver on I-270 in Columbus.
@larrywanders Ohio State Patrol cars used to be a gray-silver color before they were white. They went to white for better visibility, which I don't know if it will do any good since a lot of times when the police are hit it is by a drunk driver. Some OSP cars have yellow and white stripes on the back of the cars.

I think it's cause people are so nosy these days when cops pull people over, they sometimes cause traffic to back up cause they slow down to see what's going on and so they aren't paying attention to the road

Our county shuts down a couple departments like the housing inspectors a couple eays a week now, yet they go and build a white elephant of a "lodge" and three or so years after that build a useless covered bridge so that our county can say we have the longest covered bridge in the state.

I've been in patrol for 2 years and I am lucky it hasn't happened to me. and to respond to the idiot below, traffic stops are meant for this purpose. No matter what state it is - they're always speeding, or not using signals, or running red lights! All without their LEDs and sirens on! You're not above the law, you're supposed to enforce it!

Most of the traffic stops are actually putting people in more danger than the "expired sticker" on their car.
There better be a good reason for pulling people over other than simply labeling everything the state uses to steal money as a "traffic violation."
